Mr Toy's Flying Wok in Worthing

I just ordered 4x Duck Spring rolls from here, to be extremely and unpleasantly surprised that they’re inedible because they’re freezing cold on the inside where they haven’t been defrosted/cooked properly. I saw the person cooking them, use the microwave. I bit into 2 separate rolls and had to spit them out because I couldn’t eat it. Absolutely disgusting! I want a refund, so have tried to call numerous times, with no answer - and have tried to find a way to contact them in writing, however, the contact page on their website keeps on saying their server isn’t available; therefore, how do I get hold of them to get a refund? Such a bad experience throughout. I used to really like this place, but will never be returning.

Friendly staff and very tasty noodle 🍜 come with family love showing cooking noodle looks very fun and open kitchen can see how the food been prepared. Will visit again soon

Visited over the August Bank Holiday. Person behind the counter was very friendly & helpful with ordering. Food was red hot, fresh & tasty. Duck spring rolls were great, better than we get at home. Would recommend as a quick meal.

Everytime I come into town and need something to eat I'll come here, really good quality wholesome food, can be filled up easily for £6 which is just a little over what you'd spend on a mcdonalds meal to be hungry again an hour later with a massive taste of regret in your mouth. If you're gluten intolerant they have gluten free noodles but you can also have the vermicelli which I highly reccomend as they are thin rice noodles.

Yum yum yum! The noodles from here are so fresh and tasty. My favourite are the Singapore noodles. The portions are massive as well. Definitely worth a visit. Get them to takeaway and enjoy yummy noodles on the beach!

Awful MSG ridden, overcooked / burnt delivery - at nearly £20 for 3 practically inedible items they are taking the p***. I tried to call them 3 times about getting my delivery returned & re-issued but had no response on the phone. No wonder - Probably already dealing with loads of other complaints. Never again is all I can say!

Literally the worst service tonight by the girl behind the counter. Most vile attitude. Lack of patience, like I was wasting her time, you’re being paid, not a volunteer. when you’re ordering behind a screen with a mask on expect to not heard very clearly. Won’t be returning which is a disappointment.

Me and my family ate from here on bank holiday weekend and the food was delicious! I had the hokkien noodles with chicken and the Korean bbq sauce and it was incredible! There was plenty of sauce to spare and it was piping hot! Food took around 20 mins for 3 of us however it’s cooked fresh! 100% recommend, and will be returning

Cheap and cheerful. Had a family takeaway. Generous portion sizes. Tasty food but on the salty side. Once you understand the menu system, its plain sailing

I see some reviews that don't justify just how spectacular Mr Toy's actually is! I've tried everything on the menu, and I'll admit somethings were not to my liking but I don't hold that against the restaurant, I hold it against my own self judgment. For the things I did enjoy, the Hokkien Noodle with beef and Indonesian Hot sauce is my go to, it's absolutely divine! the Singapore and Chinese Sukiyaki sauces are just magical too. Ps. Always expect to be treated with respect by their amazing staff.

El año pasado estuve viviendo en Worthing todo el verano. Una amiga nos llevó a Mr. Toy's Flying Wok por variar un poco y la verdad es que a bote pronto es un sitio que no te llama. Es muy pequeño y no destaca, además de que no tiene sitio para sentarse más que cuatro mesas fuera y poco más. El servicio es rápido y muy eficiente. Tienen una carta corta pero más que suficiente. LA COMIDA ES ESPECTACULAR, yo creo que los mejores noodles que he probado. En serio, sigo buscando en España algo que lo pueda igualar. La única pega que le pongo al lugar es que solo se puede pagar con efectivo. Aun así repetí un par de veces más. Merece mucho la pena sobre todo la salsa Mr. Toy's, en serio

Ok so this place lost points due to how disgusting the eating area is. I was astonished at the level of dirt and grease. The pictures on the walls are covered in grease, bin had no lid and the floor was disgusting. If some money was put into this place and the eating area modernised, I believe it could be very popular as the noodles were delicious.

The noodles I had were very nice and were very quick considering they cook to order. The place needs a bit of a makeover as the decor is not that good and has limited seating

This is our first time here, and we are very impressed by the food. For £5.99 you get a takeaway noodle dish which is crammed with flavour and is very, very filling. It is takeaway, there is a select few seats inside and outside but we took ours to the beach as it was a nice day. Beautifully cooked noodles. Will visit again. The only downside is that it is cash only but, there are lots of ATMs in the nearby vicinity. 5* well earned. Cheers, see you again!

We have eaten here regularly for 4 or 5 years but tonight was the last time. £20 for 2 portions of chicken satay and 2 x Pad Kee Mao. The chicken portion is now so small as to be negligible, they need to increase the price and improve quality if they want us to come back. Charging £20 and giving us nothing is not a viable business plan for retaining local regular customers.

Brilliant noodles... really tasty and quick. Less than a fiver for a satisfying meal.... just off the seafront.... and it’s a clean establishment.... please open in Kent Mr Toy’s Flying Wok.... well done 👍

Freshly made noodles perfect for a lunch. Good choice of noodle types and sauces. Served in the classic Chinese takeaway folded pots and the portion size is excellent.

Quick service. Friendly people working there. Great noodles and the choice is great too. There's something to suit everyone. £5 for a large portion of noodles makes for a great dinner and then a late snack with the leftovers aha

Decided to buy some noodles instead of chips to eat on the beach. Such a better idea and so much healthier. Really tasted noodles with loads of choice. All boxes of noodles are £4.99 . Better than any fast food and just as quick. Really tasted and well worth the £4.99

Very tasty food, served quickly and reasonably prepared chef for a great lunch to have on the beach. Three dishes all tasted great and the ingredients were all fresh. Better than your usual stodgy processed takeaways and a refreshing change to a sandwich. 5 worthy stars.

We order from here regularly and generally enjoy their food but they can be a bit inconsistent flavour wise depending on which chef is on.

I love popping in here when in town. You can watch your meal being cooked which is great for kids to see too. A choice of types of noodles plus accompaniments make this a great place to experiment with your tastebuds! Hot, plentiful food at a reasonable price. Well worth a try.

These people really need to go back to school and learn about food hygiene. At the Worthing fireworks night last night, I watched one of the employees bring out some frozen chicken, and then defrost it under warm running water in the sink. She then wiped her hands (not wash them), after handling the chicken, and went to the counter to serve customers. Will not be returning.

I'd have never come here if it wasn't for a friend recommending it - I tend to steer clear of noodle bars like this as I worry they'll just be rubbish. I couldn't have been more wrong!

Cheap, quick, tasty. Staff not that friendly. Good for a late dinner to take away, opened up to 23 Friday and Saturday. They only accept cash. Don't bother asking for duck rolls, they hardly have duck in them.

I have Pad Krap-Pow which is garlic and chilli with chicken and rice. It is delicious and cooked fresh in front of you. Highly recommended

Fab noodles great service great price only reason I've given it a 3 is they have gluten free noodles but not cooked in gluten free oil

The food is fantastic and the staff really lovely! I can say I'm regular as I go there almost every week. The food is fantastic for this cold days when you feel like something hot but doesn't take long to get prepared. The prices are very competitive as well. It is by far my favourite fast food restaurant in Worthing!

I walked by and the smell caught me, with great reviews on here I thought I'd try it.I've tried loads of individual and noodle chains and this was quite disappointing. My veg only stir fry had chicken in it and what seemed to be the semi solid water that you get when you fry a chicken throughout.Seemed decent value, picked at a few noodles which were ok but left the rest.

I previously worked right around the corner from this place last year. Food is always high quality. Only issue with them is that they didn't accept card payments (might have changed now.) Highly recommend.

Popped into this take away for a bite to eat and was very impressed with the quality of the food. The staff were patient and explained how to order. I ended up wanting to go back for more just ran out of cash. Cash only. Great meal.

This place does the most amazing noodles to take away Staff very friendly and there is a seating area if you do want to sit in.Is a little bit pricey but most food on the sea front in Worthing is expensive to be fair but this place is absolutely worth the money. This is one of the best noodle bars I've been to the food is so good and cooked fresh in front of you. They have a wide range of food from different noodles, meat and sauces, great value for money. There's isn't any parking out the front so you have to find parking up on the main road, the only thing I think would benefit them is having salt sashays incase you want more salt on your noodles.

I had the Thai Tom Yam' Hot and Sour Rice Noodle Soup with Prawns at £3.50 it was the perfect snack, big prawns, crunchy veg. Salty, zesty and spicy. Good service too.

Amazing flavored food, good portion and is relatively cheap and have a good selection of noodles sauces and topping(meat veg) etc Is a great place to pick up some lunch time food but there it is only a bar to eat on stools or a few tables outside and doesn't deliver but it's the best noodle bar I've tried

Love this place so does everyone i know, fast tasty and never let's you down! Our fav is aways flat noodle, chicken pad thai - tiny bit spicy which makes it perfect

Great noodles for kids and adults alike. Two adults three kids lunch done. Chef could not stop smiling for some reason a tad sinister but we just decided he must be happy in his work. There is no chance he was planning world domination.... Not in Worthing any way

This is a really great unassuming noodle bar- we come here regularly and have tried all the noodles and all are really good. only downside is I think the chef has changed recently as the noodles have become less saucy and more dry- especially the pad Thai. You can ask for extra sauce but they charge extra for it...

My wife, friends and I have eaten at Mr Toys on numerous occasions. Usually when we want something filling, tasty, quick and good value. Choose your type of noodle, sauce and main filling and then they wok it up for you quickly and serve it hot in a takeaway box. I particularly like the flat noodles with one of the spicy sauces like Indonesian hot. The chicken satay is also good.

You can choose whether you want rice or noodles and chose what type. Then chose the sauce. Very tasty.

Wow! A completey unassuming location / venue, and yet everything is cooked fresh and in front of your eyes, with absolute pride. Tasty fresh food, simple, and satisfying. Great value for money. A short menu but a lot of variations. Have NOT been let down and already looking forward to getting this Friday evening's meal! Make sure you take cash as they don't have a card machine (otherwise I#d be there more often and spend more)!

Love this place, the food is all ways top notch!! Cooked fresh in front of you. There are only a few seats at a wall bar. This is really great for takeaways but not inside dining.

Great for a grab and go quickie, depends on the chef how many king prawns which can be a real disappointment if you can short changed to 2!!

I've been here a couple of times now and I like how the menu is set up, pick you noodle, then sauce and additional items - done and dusted, very easy and quick.Food was fresh and tasty and prices are great. Location is nice too, you can grab your noodles in their cute little cardboard boxes and sit at their outside tables looking out to the beach and people watch. Fun lunch.

Our kids love the noodles a lot and ate all on their own. The food is cooked in front of us. It cooks fast in few mins and with healthy vegetable. A good choice for a meal. Don't miss it!

My children and I passed this outlet on our return journey to the cark park. We ordered a couple of portions of chicken and egg noodles with vegetables and chow mein sauce to share. When I placed the order I was told that we were order number two and when I asked, I was told that the food would be ready in seven minutes.After 15 minutes I asked about my order, to be told that someone had taken it! We were not given a receipt and so I presume that another customer took advantage. The staff apologised and rushed through another couple of batches for us within five minutes. We sat at the tables outside to eat it as there's only a small bar and stools inside. The food was worth the wait as it was cooked before our eyes and was wolfed down by the kids. They loved using the chopsticks provided.

Great, fresh noodle take-away. Simple menu - type of noodle + meat/fish/tofu + sauce. Kids love it, good size potion for lunch.

I was really glad to stumble upon this little fast food outlet visiting Worthing town's shops in 2014, starving hungry I ordered a chow mein dish and was glad to get a huge portion of noodles, chicken, beansprouts and veg which was served hot and in a handy box with chopstix. Really tasty id definately go back. They just need to change their seating and hurry up a bit.

Absolutely delicious, and the variety in what you can have is great. However, for the price I'd expect more of the main filling (chicken, pork etc.). Would definitely recommend though!

It is what it is and does it well. Tasty 'fast food' at a reasonable price and ideal for grabbing a bite while on the go and keeping the 'munchies' at bay.

Shot in here for a quick bit to eat. It's excellent as you pick what type of noodles you want. You then pick the meat or veg and then the sauce. Cost £4.99 and was so tasty you wouldn't believe. So much more healthy than KFC eat. Only takes 5 min to make and the staff are excellent. Check it out as you won't be disappointed.

slightly strange place but lovely food and kids love watching it being cooked, doesn't appear spotlessly clean or present very well which kind of lets the whole experience down and may put some people off.

Choose your noodles, meat and sauce and it's done in 5 minutes, definitely value for money, and its all about the Singapore sauce. Flat rice noodles, chicken and singapore sauce, you wont be disappointed.

The whole experience is great, very authentic, good choice of noodles filling and flavor. Food is very nice, I had rice noodles with teriyaki sauce and was super! Only downside is the extra cost for prawn/seafood. You get 4 king prawn in with the noodles which doesn't justify the extra 50p more than say chicken.

great place to satisfy your stomachs after a day out at the beach. Having had fish and chips for lunch, this really filled the hole, and at £17 for 4 people, we'll certainly go again if we go back to Worthing.

It's been a couple of years since I last visited but I had a craving for noodles so I called in. There is a choice of noodles, fillings and sauces. Service is very fast and you can see everything being prepared and cooked. I paid extra for prawns and there was a generous portion. Staff were very pleasant and helpful when advising on the sauces as I prefer mild rather than spicy. When I returned to work ten minutes later, my noodles were still lovely and hot. There was just enough sauce not to be overpowering and the whole meal was very filling.

Ah Mr Toys is so good and yummy, I am a veggie and I always get the udon noodle with tofu, mixed vegetables and singapore sauce. Pretty much the best noodles ever, I really want to know how to make noodles they do because I constantly have cravings for them. The worst thing about Mr toys flying wok is that thy don't deliver, as a consumer I am too lazy to go into town just for noodles every time I want some but I still do. If they delivered I would probably have them every week or more! So, Mr Toys, the only thing that I can think of to make your business more successful and your customers even happier is to deliver. Please note, I will gladly pay for such a service.

Visited for the fist time on Saturday Had a lovely portion of Singapore noodles with chickenService was quick and the portion a lot larger than I was expecting Will Defintely visit again to try other combinations

I've eaten at the Chichester noodle bar on about 6 different occasions! When I first went I couldn't believe how nice the food was, I really enjoyed it! Both me and my girlfriend did. Each time I visited again, the food was amazing! Except for the last two times -both within a few days of each other. I went on 3rd of September and ordered 2 boxes of noodles- They didn't have any beef so we settled for chicken and asked for vegetables with ours. I also ordered spring rolls which normally come with a chilli type sauce. Left the noodle bar to find that we had no vegetables, no chilli sauce on the spring rolls and about 4 small peices of meat each. To say I was disappointed was an understatement! It was late though so I let them off as it was close to closing time. The next day I had such a bad gut, but thought it was because of the sauce! I then went back yesterday on the 5th and explained I wanted vegetables this time. The service is lovely! I got 2 boxes of noodles again and went back to the car. -with only a very small amount of meat again! To again today be suffering with a bad gut! And I eat vindaloos often so it can't be the mild spices! My girlfriend has also different from it too. I don't understand what's going wrong when it started off so well! I'm disappointed because I hugely enjoy the noodles there, but I can't continue if I'm going to be in such pain and have after problems!

I was pleasantly surprised with the food from Mr. Toy’s flying wok I was expecting the usual sweet sauces and gloopy food found in most Chinese restaurants in the UK.But this was freshly cooked in front of us and you could taste the ingredients without them being masked by the sauce. And we sat over on the promenade and ate it.

Had some noodles from here and it was overall delicious. Was happy that they don't pre-prepare the veges as my fussy daughter only eats broccoli n carrots. Bit greasy at the bottom of the box as u nearly finish but overall good food!!

I love Mr Toys flying wok. I have not long been going to Mr Toys but have been a number of times in the last couple of months. The attention to detail and choice is good and you get a good size portion. One negative worth noting is I did pay a late visit on a mid week night and found that the normal staff were not there. Instead there were a number of young people running the place, on that visit the food was not as good as normal and the portion size was much less. I personally now stick to day time visits to ensure good food.

I went to this noodle bar/take away for the first time and I am going to come back with my boyfriend for some more. I don't normally choose seafood, but I really enjoyed it with noodles and a spicy sauce. My daughter had chicken fried rice with bbq sauce and it was also a nice choice. I found really interesting how you must order your noodles and that meal is cooked in front of you in an open plan kitchen by the Eastern man! :)

Very tasty and filling, love that you can pick the style of noodle used in your meal. Great for a quick recharge on shopping trips, reasonable prices for what is a fairly substantial meal. Their teriyaki chicken is top notch!

This is definitely a must try, and I guarantee that you'll be addicted to Mr Toy's amazing noodle/rice take away! I am not a vegetarian but am partial to the tofu teriyaki noodle box, although they have a large selection of pictures/suggestions for meal boxes. the staff are friendly, its quick and convenient after cinema or a show. You can sit in or take away which ever rocks your boat- great to sit on the beach!!. Not at all surprised that they are so popular. Suitable for children/families/disabled. Easy access and central.Even special occasions- depending on what they are of course, but I wouldn't mind being proposed to over a Mr Toy Noodle box on the beach!!!

Not sure whats happened with this place, used to be really amazing, really full of flavour, recently its just been bland noodles, barely any meat, barely any flavour.Although the Chicken Kiaw za are still awesome :)
