nice hot curries with lots of options, quick delivery, polite staff, very pleasant experience, will be back

First time using Hot Spot and didn’t get everything delivered that was ordered (and shown on itemised receipt) and wrong items. Their response was “sorry, we were busy but will give you discount next time”. No issue with the food but I expect to get what I paid for. Will not use again.

Always good curries speedy delivery. Use them all the time for Indian meals.

Had the chicken biriyan and garlic chicken tikka masala, both amazing and full of flavour. Also the sag paneer is the best we’ve ever had from anywhere. Highly recommended

My local curry house, always cheerful staff. Their menu is huge so there’s always something new to try, great for collections since they offer a free side if your order’s above 25 quid. Many thanks to Jamal, his son and the rest of the staff, can’t recommend a better place!

Had a set meal takeaway. Relatively fast service and good value. Plenty of tasty food. Will visit again

Ordered curry here for years was always good until this past 9 months or so . Found bit of plastic in my food . I continued to order my food there but I recently ended up with a bad tummy after eating there and I think the oil is old as the fried food started to taste not right . I know that we are in difficult times but you can’t cut corners in food business. I felt bit bad leaving this review but they need to know to change this as I don’t want to eat there anymore.

Don’t have a curry often but when I do it’s the Hot Spot! However tonight was a bad experience. The Masala and rice where fine however the plain naan was burnt Crispy on the bottom and rather small and the Keema naan …?? The onion Bhaji was dry and I mean really dry. They are the thing that complement the curry and if they fail then it …..

Ordered a curry tonight at 6.30 and at 8.30 I rang them to find out we're my food was and the guy on the phone was very rude and infact I still did not get my curry or a refund never use this company ever again

Great food. But a bit pricey compared to other local Indian takeaways. Waiting room isn't big but is quiet with TV.

Awful food...very small portions, sauce like water...i do not recommend.

With one or two rare exceptions the food here has always been delicious, and the owner and staff are just lovely. Delivery drivers always happy and polite. We don't order fromfrom anywhere else for a takeaway curry.

15 minutes late which was disappointing on the first ever order from the restaurant - dismissive on the phone when enquired about the delivery. However food amazing great taste across the whole meal - new taste for the biryani - wow I would order again - please sort out the delivery

Curries from here are really tasty, I've had a lot of curries from other places in Worthing that seem to be tasteless oily tomato slop and unlike the other "places" you can actually taste all the ingredients in Hotspot curries. All tastes fresh and homemade. Yum yum. Highly recommended

Food came quickly, very nice and freshly made

So I ordered online at 6.15 and at 7.30 it still hasn’t arrived phoned the shop said they were very busy 25 mins later still not here eventually turned up and a dish was missed out and food was cold not happy will not be ordering from them again

I have been using the Hot Spot for Indian Take always for over 20 years but only ever two months or so and was disappointed to see the receipts have changed not for the better. The Papadom’s were not crisp. The chicken tikka for a main course was so different in that it was served with red and green peppers the chicken was not yellow as usual but red and the onions sloppy and a sauce at the bottom. 🙁 I phoned the Hot Spot and to be fair they sent a replacement but this was the same without the peppers. About 29 minutes later a nice Indian man arrived with a bottle of Tango for an apology. My friend found the chicken biriani rather tasteless so a very disappointing evening which is a great shame as my friend came to celebrate her birthday. The man bread was delicious and rice ok.

This very understated shop front is home to a great takeaway/delivery curry house. The food is always fantastic and is good value for money. I tend to mainly collect and food is always ready in the stated time. Would certainly recommend this place, its a real find. The goan chicken dish is very good.

after having take aways from hot spot delivered for long time , last week was more than disappointing, my grandson wanted chicken nuggets and chips when arrived was cold over cooked 6 pound for a few nuggets and cold chips, we also ordered prawn curry tikka masala and all the trimming, when that arrived the juices in the cartons had all ran into one another disgusting, wont be going back shame

We use the Hot Spot as our preferred local Indian takeaway. The food is consistently good and the service very friendly. Sometimes the delivery can be erratic but they are a busy curry house and don't rush the cooking, which must be a good thing. Our advice is give good notice of when you want your food!

we had a curry last night the food was first class i cannot fault it when we ordered the food the person on the phone needs training customer service delivery was bad 1hr and 40 mins will not be going there again

My first order, made on the recognition of friends. Absolutely EXCELLENT! Over the years "Indian " takeaways have become very poor, this restaurant has restored my faith! Both dishes were chicken, which was moist and not over cooked, keema nan stuffed with Dillon and pappadoms really dry and crisp. Price under £20 for 2 and deli piping hot! Will DEFINITELY use again and hope the quality continues. Thank you Hotspot for a really good takeaway!x

Having used this takeaway for years and tried many others around Worthing this really stands out. The curry's are consistently great. Spiced beautifully and no variation week after week. Always a great service and staff are always happy and smiling when you get a delivery or collect at the takeaway. Try it out and you won't be disappointed.

We got take away from here last night. I was a little weary as I couldn't find all that many reviews but I was pleasantly surprised. Food arrived nice and hot and the delivery guy was lovely. Currys were spot on. Food was with us within 30 mins. If I was going to be super critical I'd say the onion bahjia's were not very crispy and a little soggy but still tasted fab with good flavours. All in all their menu will now be living in our take away draw.

Our local Indian takeaway, so never a disappointment when we order from here. Only issue is that it can be a bit expensive, so it's an occasional treat rather than a weekly takeaway
