The best restaurants in Worthing South East

If we are having a curry takeaway, we always choose Akash tandoori. Their curry flavours are fantastic, the food is fresh, the service is great and quick and it is priced just right. Also we don't get the 'curry belly' issues after their curries, which we do get at some other establishments! We went to pick up the food the last time we had it, instead of getting delivery, and were early so had a nice chat with the friendly family who work there, including their 8 year old. Highly recommended.

TESCO durrington Costa have a great team of friendly staff and I've consistently enjoyed the quality of their coffee..the barristers are good. Nice clean environment with plenty of seating..the food has improved across all Costas since joining forces with M&S

Dated and strange people staying and working here

We had a pleasant experience although the restaurant was empty at 19:30 on a Saturday, but there was no reason why. The owner was very friendly and efficient, the food arrived swiftly and was very tasty. Cost wise it was cheap...a good meal for two for £32. It was also exceptionally clean. It lacked just two things....background music and other customers. He did put on some music several minutes after we sat down, but wasn't what you would associate with restaurants.

Was 30 minutes late and turned up lukewarm

Ordereded a take away through user and when arrived all food was out of containers and the driver couldn't be arsed,when rang to complain staff weren't bothered and said not there problem. Wouldn't use again.

Fish batter was hard and over cooked,didnt enjoy it at all.Money is tight as it is without having to waste food.I dont complain as a rule.

This is our go to chip shop as they offer Gluten free & nobody else seems to. Also very lovely people who make lovely food Thankyou.

Dishes too sweet but the biryani is good.

We’ve been going here for years and has always been good. However, ordered today and all food turned up lukewarm/cold. Chips are normally golden and moreish - today’s were cold, greasy and brown . Very poor

We visited 'Mark & Team' for my Birthday Dinner on Sat 14th Dec. We requested one course only from the Festive Menu expecting it to equate to the price of an average Main Course.. But to our surprise, we were shocked to receive a bill of circa £80 for just 2 Main Courses and 2 Drinks! We were expect to pay ££50 to £60 We are local and regular customers, but now we'll think twice about coming again((

My wife & I enjoyed the Sunday Roast (Beef). Really good value & good service.

Been here a few times for drinks and the pub is very nice, friendly bar staff and reasonable prices. If you manage to get the chance to eat here and George the cook is cooking, you'll be in for a treat. She is a great cook and regular customers will agree. She's a credit to the G&D!

This venue is superb - the caterers are fantastic, the gardens lovely and public transport links excellent. Everything is there for a wonderful event. It definitely rates 5 star. However, I do agree with other reviews. There does need to be better signage when you arrive and even finding Reception is a task… even more so, if no one is there……..
