A very relaxed friendly atmosphere and very pleasant staff I would recommend the food to everyone who loves Indian cuisine

Very dissatisfied with good tonight, haves used Royal Spice several times but tonight the curry sauce container was open the papadums were stale and the onion Bhaji were overcooked very dissapionted

Great food. Lots of meat, thick sauce.

Best dansak in Worthing and the pashwari Naan's are to die for. I've been returning for more than 20 years.

Good delivery time but the food was poor quality - clearly some kind of thickening agent used in the curry giving it a really odd texture and a vegetable-y/potato-y taste similar to stock or gravy

If being honest, I didn't enjoy my meal one bit from here.. Ordered a Korma, Garlic rice and Garlic nann. Well the food admittedly was hot on arrival, but it had to be put to one side as the chicken Korma, lacked the coconut taste, the garlic rice was nice, but the garlic Naan bread was dripping in Paste and it wasn't enjoyable.. Sorry guys but I'll try elsewhere for my next one

Good was ok, but we ordered popadoms. I called the restaurant and they said they would knock them off next bill. We aren’t ordering much at the moment and this was a treat. We should have them now or be given a refund. Won’t order again

Ordered a take away meal for my son's birthday. We collected and they were happy to go through my order to check everything was in the bag(s) (had a few problems recently from various take away outlets). Very friendly, made my 8 year granddaughter feel welcome (with her own poppadom, in a separate bag, just for her .) The order was absolutely spot on, ample portions and everything was cooked to perfection. Their prices have increased quite considerably - hasn't everything? - but you get what you pay for and as it was a birthday treat............ We will order again :-)

I ordered from this restaurant the first day it opened over 23 years’ ago. It was fantastic and we have never have always had excellent meals, and I’ve tried a lot of Indian/Pakistani restaurants over the last 55 years (or so). They are always tasty and the meat is excellent quality, rice dishes have beautiful subtle flavouring and are amazing and I love their vegetable sag, unavailable in most local places. They always accommodate my “extra garlic please” and other requests. I can understand why some people take a while to adapt from one BiR to another due to differences in their base gravy and in-house spice mix, as they all have their own special recipes.

Food was nice! It wasn’t the warmest by the time it had arrived though and went cold quite quickly once out the pack.

Collected on time I was given food ready All lovely and hot when I got home Vindaloo fantastic as was onion bhajis sag aloo and stuffed paratha Brilliant will use again

Dreadful curry. Ordered and delivered in good time but the curry was awful. Lamb madras tasted like boiled lamb in a watery tomato sauce overpowered by chilli powder which was not cooked out. Garlic nann had no garlic taste and everything else was bland. Paid a lot of money for a treat and was very disappointed. Will never use again I'm afraid.

Always rated here ,always stayed with royal spice, and 2night really showed their loyalty to their customers as I overpaid by a tenner and b4 I had put food down he knocked on the door to say I overpaid

The food was extremely delicious with strong flavours. Portion size was great too! Oh… and finally found an Indian takeaway that does keema naans the right way (with lots of meat).

Have ordered before, lovely, hot , tasty fast delivery!!!!! How ever ,, food was completely wrong or was it!!!! Chicken tikka main was 2 chicken legs ,,, chicken tikka masala or was it? I don’t think so!!!!Garlic bread was stone cold along with the rice!!! Tried make the best of it! But combination of cold and completely wrong !!! Considering it was delivered within 20 minutes Straight in the bin!!! Never again what a let down,,,, complete waste money never agian never and if I’m asked !!! You can guess !!!!!ps considering fast delivery cold wrong food

I don’t understand the few very poor reviews and would query their authenticity. I ordered from this restaurant on the very first day it opened and have never had a poor meal. Over the years, we have ordered from other Indian restaurants but always return to this one. Their food is almost always 100% with subtle to strong spicing levels depending on your preference. I always, always order a portion for “my freezer”. I use the free text comments box to request things like extra garlic or chilli and they have never missed an item from our orders - and I’m talking probably a few hundred orders over the years! Once when I commented it was my birthday, they threw in some extras.

When we first moved down from Surrey this was the first curry place. One word FANTASTIC

Easy online order. Clean premises with friendly & courteous staff. I enjoyed a lamb madras with pilau rice & chapati. Could not fault a single thing, beautifully tender meat and full of flavour. Nice fluffy rice & chapati's the perfect accompaniment. You won't be disappointed.

This has become our local when we fancy Indian food. As always, very nice and reasonable value. Used to find the dishes were tasty but a little under spiced, however over the last few months have noticed the dishes are better balanced between spice (not spicy hot) and flavour. Another very nice meal, well done! Also good with social distancing etc...

I visited this takeaway shop the day it opened and it was fantastic. Have ordered regularly for the past 23/23 years (cannot recall opening date) and I don’t think we have ever been disappointed. We always collect so cannot comment on delivery. I write notes on my online orders, and they owner/server always comment and thank us for them and they always make the changes I ask for (ie. extra garlic paste on my naan). They rarely raise their prices, and are even more competitively priced than ever compared with burgers, fish and pizza meals. I’d rather pay a little more for quality meat and taste. I would say Royal Spice compares with the best Indian restaurants out there.

They're making people's confused because when you give them orders they will try tell you different price and when they're delivered charge you more price in tricky ways Please be careful all Indian restaurants in Worthing And also try to sale old and un high jeans food

Awful, waited over an hour and a half for our meal then they rung back and said that the food has been delivered to someone else’s house being rude on the phone also Wouldn’t go here again for sure!!

Do not attempt this place unless you want lies and over 2 hour wait for no food. Absolute dreadful service from royal spice, i was told it would be 50 mins for delivery, rang to confirm how much it would be at 45 mins when delivered however, was told they couldnt tell me as it was already out for delivery and they had left 15 mins ago. 55 mins after the already 50 mins waiting we were still waiting - rang them back and they said we were wrong it left 5 mins ago. 20 mins after this they phoned and said that it was delivered to the wrong house and that we would need to re order and wait 45 mins for delivery again. Poor customer service, rude telephone skills and isnt even worth the hassle. Very disappointing.

Very popular and tasty takeaway serving a large residential area. Good menu with lots of choices and average pricing. Food is always hot on arrival and they off 10% off if you collect it yourselves. Never had a dish I was not happy with, and if they do get it wrong which is rare, it is immediately rectified. Simple to order over the phone, and tasty.

I prefer to eat in a restuarant when having an Indian meal but some occassions mean a takeaway is the best option, and usually I have been disappointed in takeaways (even from restuarants that I have been in that are quite good). Royal Spice is takeaway only, and the only one I use on a regular basis.

Always was a go to Indian Takeaway but tonight was a huge disappointment. Forgot our rices. When I called I was asked if I could come get them then told they'd be another 15mins yet we live in Durrington. The attitude on the phone stunk. When I complained my food would be cold I was told I have a microwave then told the manager wasn't there today and to tell them next time. Now onto the food. The biriyani tasted nice but the veg curry was tiny and mostly potato. The sag aloo was slimy and swimming in fat. The tikka kurma wasn't anywhere near as creamy and tasty as usual. After the food and service we will not be going back.

Have had takeaway from here many times and it's always been good. Delicious curry, what more can you ask for?

Best Indian takeaway in Worthing!

Been getting food from Royal Spice for some time now. The staff are very friendly and always willing to help. The food is very tasty and reasonably priced. I have only ever had one bad experience in 8 years and it was corrected very quickly once I let them know about it :)

I have been using the Royal Spice for many years and have never had a bad meal from here. I have collected orders and had them delivered too. The food is delivered hot and plentiful by polite and friendly staff. The prices have gone up, yes, but you get what you pay for folks. There have been some slight menu changes but that shows a desire to keep the choices up to date and appealing. Well done Royal Spice! I won't be changing anytime soon!

rubbish vegetable curry, more like a stew. the chips are bought in frozen chips so they were nice but then they cannot go wrong with them. not a place for a vegetarian if you want a vegetable curry.

Used Royal Spice for a large boxing day order and they were well up to the job. Food was very good and ready on time. Nice to have the discount applied being a bank holiday too. Can always rely on this place.

Had numerous different takeaway curries.Cooked to my expectations and staff willing to accommodate special requests. Never too much gee and side dishes fresh and appetizing.

Can't fault the food or service of this takeaway. Unfortunately last time we ordered we discovered that the price had increased by about a third, we were not informed before placing our order and the website had not been updated. When I phoned back to query the price I was told "please madam we have a new menu" It is a shame because I feel that a price increase of over 30% is quite drastic and it puts me off ordering from here again.

Cant fault the food quality and service at this takeaway but the price has taken a massive hike. Before dishes mostly had rice included but now you have to buy separately. Every other item has now gone up too. I would say this now makes it more expensive than most takeaways but sometimes you have to pay a bit more for quality. Otherwise take advantage of the collection discount on Sunday through to Thursday.

Was looking for a new curry alternative closer to where I now live so tried Royal Spice again. The food is still very good and you can taste the freshness. Have collected and also had delivered now and the standard and service never drops. Highly recommend this place.

The good is nice and ok. Had some nice kormas and rogan joshs from here.
