Really lovely tasty food 😋 I highly recommend.

First time iv done a review the food was lovely haven't eaten from here for a while went down hill bit for me not had any thing for over a year but tonight it was fresh hot and taste was the best in along time from any Indian iv had hope it stays like it

The beast in town I don t eat spicy food I ask you gem to make me a meniu without spice and I enjoyed thank you for the meal and keep the good work on staff thank s to the chef

Had one of the very best curries I’ve ever had tonight from Indian Ocean (recommending the chicken tikka balti). Arrived before estimated time and so tasty!

I’ve ordered twice from here on chef kitchen website online. The best Indian around, delivered in under 10mins! I always get an upset tummy from this kind of food but I’m amazed how I don’t with this restaurant. Thank you it’s lovely!

The food used to be good but along with shepway grill the kebab shop they also have the food quality has significantly declined the chicken was purple, grissly with chewy texture and huge grey slimy veins running through it like it was leg meat very unappetising I threw it in the bin definitely will go elsewhere from now on

Been using them for years and the tikka massala is usually excellent well spiced and complex with fresh herbs. the one I had tonight was clearly just red korma far too sweet and just coconut, lifeless food unfortunately. Mushroom rice was ok

Ordered more poopafauns than I got

I was very very unhappy with my curry. The Chicken Tikka Bhuna I ordered had a really weird rubbery texture and there was a pea size bit of tinfoil inside my curry, which put me off eating the whole thing! It wasn't worth the money and would like to be offered a full refund please. I don t normally rate food as its usually quite good from other places, but this was just dreadul!! Sorry, but its true!

Very disappointed. Chicken had a weird texture so we left it as wasn't whether it was cooked properly or not, the sauce had currants in it, the Bombay potatoes tasted powdery, the naan bread tasted doughy. The only enjoyable part of it was the poppadoms.

Just had a cold delivery (they are 5 mins away) of ginger chicken & sag bhaji. Both completely tasteless as was the rice. I ordered ginger chicken from here a month or so ago & it was delicious & succulent - this time it was reheated & rock hard & there was no ginger taste at all in the sauce. Shame as I would have ordered again if it had been tasty this time. Their loss not mine!!

Delivery is always prompt and Friendly. The food is scrumptious and well priced. Our favourite take out by a mile.

Bank Holiday Monday. Took 1h to get delivery from the point receiving the text the Food was on its way. Still in the time frame of the app though. Food arrived lukewarm unfortunately. Driver was really polite. Because it was so late we called the restaurant, could never get through (ringing without answer). Food was average, nothing amazing but nothing bad either. Portions were generous.

The food is not good and mutton is not fully cooked

Great food as always and early delivery by a polite and friendly driver. You forgot 1 of the ordered lime pickle and only received a few crumbs which was supposed to be a popadom, otherwise delicious.

I don't usually leave reviews but felt like I had to tonight, first time ordering from this restaurant and I can honestly say its the best curry worthing has to offer! Food was so full of flavour, perfectly cooked and arrived hot- portion sizes were brilliant too! Thanks so much for a lovely dinner! We will be ordering again soon!

Indian Ocean is the most consistent takeaway in Worthing. Food is always hot, tasty and delivered on time. 🥘🔥 You just can't beat them, try the Malayan or kashmiri curries. 😋🧡

Inedible, luke warm, oily food but what was even worse was the customer service! I've been using them since April 2006 but NEVER AGAIN!! Our last order was missing items and cold. Today, when giving our order, I explained the previous issue and pleaded for it to be good. It was awful. After it was delivered, I called straight away asking if they were open, as I was happy to return everything in order to get a full refund... but was hung up on!! Called straight back, another member of staff answered, full refund given but then informed I was barred as apparently 'I always complain' and had 'sworn at the member of staff taking my previous call!' 😳. Am known to the Manager (who apparently was out?) and in over 10 years I've NEVER complained before?! Really upsetting tbh

We was so looking forward to curry for a change, but was very disappointed. We normally have chicken shat but come with pancake - but this one didn't. Curry wasn't great either. Unfortunately we won't be ordering again.

Been using this takeaway for years now and always top notch food. Have tried other local ones from time to time but always return as cannot be beaten for quality and price. Owned by a lovely friendly coupe. Thoroughly recommended

Most disgusting curry I've ever had. Straight in the bin. What a waste of money

The drink with our order was missing and the naan we got may as well have been plain. This used go be our favourite take away place, but this latest order seemed very different to our previous ones.

Second time we've ordered was hot and arrived in good time, as before. Unfortunately the balti we ordered did not taste very nice, quite acidic/ vinegar tasting was more sauce then chicken with 11 small bite size pieces. The mint sauce that comes with the starter was also thin and acidic too. The naan and sag also was nice though, just a shame the main dish was not to our liking, we tried the bhuna before and it was bland tasting with more sauce then meat. We're unlikely to order again.

Called in again during the Covid-19 pandemic for a meal. Very well organised absolute no-contact service. My meal we served quickly and as always superb quality, I cannot fault this place, always outstanding quality and very tasty. Highly recommended, thank you again.

Food was lovely and arrived ontime (friendly delivery service - thank you). Naan bread one of the best I've had with a takeaway. However Mint sauce was too thin, acidic (and red - why?) So could not use with starter & poppadums. However it didn't spoil the rest of the meal and we will order again!

Best indian food in town by far! Chicken tikka masala on point and too chilli.. staff are always polite and helpful as I have dietary requirements! Must try!

I’m not going be to complain but unfortunately this was one of the blandest curries I have ever had! The food didn’t taste of anything which has really ruined out saturday night ☹️ We didn’t eat much of what we had and just chucked it in the bin in the end and cooked something from the oven. Sorry but will not be ordering here again.

The food was terrible, it went in the bin. The chicken tikka looked and tasted horrible, more oil than anything else. The King prawn starter was very bland, no taste, it also went in the bin.

Just horrendous - ginger chicken swimming in ghee, overcooked rice & the tarka / tadka dhal was basically a watered down red broth with barely any lentils in it. No sign of any tadka. Phoned to complain & the woman who answered tried to tell me I don’t know what a tarka / tadka dhal looks like. Her arrogance was unbelievable. Never again will I order from this place - it is really bad food & customer service is atrocious

This long established is one of the best takeaways in the area. Food is consistently excellent quality and value. Have been using of years and never disappointed. Occasionally try other takeaways nearby but always return here

I have ordered from this special place on numerous occasions and have now tried at least 8 of their dishes. We always try each other’s dishes too! One thing I noticed is the consistency with quality is always the same. Excellent flavours with every dish and they are happy to cater to different heat levels. Always a very polite service, very respectful manners and quite efficient. At busy times they tell me to come in 40 minutes, and the food is indeed ready. I’ve tried chingri Bono chiri (one of my favourites!) jalfrezi, rogan Josh, Dalya, and the chilli chicken tikka masala is a lovely spicy version of Britain’s favourite!

I used to order from these guys a lot but got fed up of everything turning up swimming in ghee. To be honest it wasn’t much better tonight. That was after giving it a 12 month break because it wasn’t just the ghee but their attitude. So tonight chicken tikka was ok but covered in red food colouring - ugh! Dhal was mediocre & no sign of a tadka which is what I ordered. Spinach bhajii was full of stalks & unpleasant raw onion & just tasteless. Actually everything was vert tasteless! It is a shame as it doesn’t take much to cook tasty food! Think I will continue to cook my curries at home!
