Taste of Bengal in Worthing

Avoid this place, we ordered and 1 item was missing we called and was told we could have it next time, we asked if we could have them this time and we were told they would be delivered in 20 minutes, 1 hour later and still nothing we called again and got rudely shouted at and argued with and was told we could not have the money back for the 1 item that was missing, I will never order from here again and advise no one else to either, avoid at all costs disgraceful place

Disappointing. Very watery butter chicken curry and lacking flavour. Very different from a previous good one from here.

Food no where near as good as last time unfortunately will not be using again

Tried the Chicken Jal Masala last night & it was one of the nicest curry's I've ever had!! I'll definitely be ordering that again. Thankyou for the lovey food I'm always impressed how nice it is. Taste of Bengal has become my favourite takeaway.

This is the third time now we’ve ordered from here and we will not be going anywhere else! The food is so full of flavour! We both don’t like too much spice and the passanda and korma are the perfect combo for us! Will highly recommend to everyone!

Really hot and tasty, cheaper than competitors very delicious will be ordering from them again

Food was dry, chicken was chewy, the sauce wasn't great tasting at all, the rice was warm, the poppadom was stale, in all an unpleasant experience and a waste of 15 pound, will not be ordering form here again

Just Had a lovely Naga curry it was very hot but I do like it hot & very tasty too!!!

Food is lovely every time, our go to for indian. But for the last few times there delivery drivers are faffing about driving up & down the road not being able to find the address. (Over 10minuets). Both times food has been luke warm / cold because of this.

My family have been using taste of bengal for 35 years+. Hard working family keeping consistency and reputation up. Tandoori butter chicken has been a family favourite over the decades and never fails to deliver. I really appreciate gems like this place & much respect for the reputation built over the years. Every item I've ordered is always delicious. Thanks guys!

It’s a shame the food was fantastic apart from the naan , it was very undercooked , one size cooked the other doughy and sticky.

The food from this restaurant is always lovely, what was unexpected (as its not mentioned on the menu) was that when I ordered an omelette, the dish came with a handful of chips & some garden peas as well.. I will definitely be ordering that again!

Ordered 2 chicken tikka korais and got something completely different. My wife and I won't be going to the taste of bengal ever again. Very poor.

Completely lacking flavour. This was our second time ordering as I wanted to give them a second chance. However, nothing had any flavour. I mean seriously, the most flavourless food I have ever ordered. On top of this, the garlic naans had been topped with store bought garlic purée. At first I didn’t think this was a back idea, but it was so so so salty. Wont be giving them another shot.

I use Taste of Bengal regulary after moving from another Indian takeaway. This place never disappoints, lots to choose from, food comes at a good time (usally under an hour), give this takeaway a try!

Having never had anything from here before a friend visiting from Staffordshire recommended this place when they used to live here and have to admit it didn't disappoint. The korma was perfect for a British taste bud and wasn't too spicy or over powering in any aspect. Really enjoy my meal and would recommend and return for sure

Good quality food and nice portions. I ordered Diet Coke and got Coke so wasted £1.50.

Food wasn't nice to eat, onion bhaji where stale and the same with the poppadoms we got given the wrong rice and sauce. Overall for our first time it was awful, we will not be ordering from here again

We have ordered from here for years and the food has always been top quality with generous portions. Unfortunately our last 2 orders have been disappointing - onion bhajis overcooked and hard, no onion salad and mains lacking flavour. Such a shame as Taste of Bengal has always been our go to curry house.

Have used the Taste of Bengal for 37 years .Always excellent food and service . Wouldn’t go anywhere else ! When we have a delivery always still hot and never had to wait longer than we have been told . When we pick up never had to wait so a thumbs up all round 👍

Food had very little taste, just spicy. Didn't eat any of the veg tikka masala. Naan was too salty to eat. Woke up feeling awful with really bad stomach ache. Won't be using again!

The tandoori chicken & naan were awful.I ordered after seeing the name.Bengal.I really had very high hopes.The mango chutney had a weird smell & salad consisted of only lettuce & 3-4 pieces of cucumber.

The food was good but the chicken tikka bhuna dish was incorrect and instead a hot curry was supplied which was chicken but not chicken tikka. This was not noticed until the curry was on the plate. The curry was too hot for the person to eat more than a few mouthfuls.

Said 45 mins then arrived in 25, complaining about me answering the door. Delivery aside, Delicious food, great price will definitely order again 😋

First & last time using this restaurant, it's the only time I've ever had a spicy Corma curry! Chicken Corma was ordered & it was more like a Tikka Masala & seeing as I don't like spicy food, a total waste of money! Not only that, while there was plenty of chicken the pieces were so large that they were tough, not a good dish at all (unless you like spicy food)...

Chicken Shaslik was more like a stew with no curry flavour or heat at all. One piece of green floppy pepper and dried out chicken lumps. Very poor and very expensive. Won't order again.

Food was late and cold; the naan in particular was mushy and undercooked; and I had to spend five minutes coaching the delivery person to my door after being told she was 'outside'. Extremely poor, won't be ordering from again, and advise others not to either.

Taste of Bengal is the best Curry House in Worthing. I have tried numerous takeaways to compare and always come back to TAB. Very efficient and professional and owner is so welcoming.

Very nice food, the only negative forme(and I've used them a few times ) is that they "fill" the rice container. Perhaps they could take a look at that..

Butter chicken is the best I’ve had in a long time! The other curries were not bad either but the butter chicken is a winner. I would highly recommend this place!

Breads were cold. Curry was nice. Mango chutney smelt sour. Definitely not edible. Shame.
