This is our go to chip shop as they offer Gluten free & nobody else seems to. Also very lovely people who make lovely food Thankyou.

I ordered the “lunch special” that was meant to include a jumbo sausage with chips and a can of coke, it arrived without the chips or coke.

The food came very hot, well cooked and nothing was missing. To say it was just “well cooked” is an understatement, this is by far one of the top 3 places to get Fish n Chips in Worthing! Also, the portion sizes are great value for money. Delivery was perfectly on time, maybe a couple minutes early to be honest. I highly recommend this place, if you haven’t tried it then be sure to, it won’t disappoint!

Not the fault of Broadwater Fryer. The driver was 2 minutes away from me then took off in the opposite direction. My food was stone cold when it arrived! Suggest you don't send them to do multiple deliveries where hot food is concerned!

Put order in for the cod & chips and mushy peas x 2. It literally arrived so quick & was piping hot and was very lovely and tasty . The delivery driver was a very happy lovely man ….thank you very much A great experience all round .. thank you

Absolutely amazing Gluten Free Fish and Chips. Crispy and not greasy. So yummy. It’s great to find a chippy that caters for Coeliacs and genuinely cares about gluten contamination. Will go there repeatedly and have told all my friends.

haddock batter could be abit more crispy as was very minimal, and missing salt& vinegar on chips. other wise absolutely wonderful! everything tastes beautiful! ❤️

Twice ordered, both times delivered late, cold and clearly reheated. Large cod was small and dripping in oil and placed on top of chips so they took soaked in oil. Oil was old so chips tasted strange and chewy due to reheat. Burger had rock hard bacon and cheese, so cheese stale as was bun, burger salty, lettuce yellow. Not recommended

2nd time ordering as everyone deserves a 2nd chance. Late and cold again. Chips nasty and reheated. Burger in batter rock hard and reheated. Bacon burger, bacon rock hard and inedible, cheese slice tiny and rock hard and unmelted, lettuce was yellow and no other salad in it. bun was stale, burger was salty. Sausage in batter soaked in oil as was paper. I won't be reordering or recommending

Disgusting! late and cold. chips nasty and definitely reheated and old oil as horrible taste. Large cod was medium and placed undrained on top of chips so the chips were dripping in oil and wrapping was soaked.

Food arrived 35 minutes late, cold and a portion of chips missing. The restaurant offered to send more chips (another 35 minutes) but refused a refund for the missing food

have used Broadway fryer regularly over the last few years but tonight was the worst we have had. the fish was fine but the chips were overcooked and tasted horrible and went in the bin. Will be giving them a miss for a while

Ordered medium cod but it was a very small medium. Where it had been put in a plastic bag the food was sweaty and soggy. Soggy batter on cod and a fritter isn’t good. Also my order window was 5.35-5.55. I called at 5.57 to ask where it was to be told it had just left and then the delivery time was changed. So it was nearly 20 mins late.

Great fish n chip's for me and kids loved there fish cake n chip's. Very good service from the owner.

battered sausages tasted like no sausage I've ever tasted!! chips dry. wouldn't order from here again.

The food was good but we only received one portion of chips, not the two we ordered.

Initially I was really impressed with their cod and chips. The 3rd time I’m eating from there; the cod and chips just didn’t taste right, like it was old and had just been re heated. Within half an hour of eating I was suffering with nausea, diarrhoea and sickness, I had to leave my young boys and just run upstairs; just felt awful with fever. It’s now almost 1am and so far every hour I’ve been vomiting and suffering with diarrhoea. I have developed food poisoning. Am horrified and upset, hope I’m better by the morning. It’s a disgrace; KEEP AWAY

Best chips around, lovely battered sausages, I find the fish is not as good as some of the more expensive fish & chip shops like Christoforos, but price is much cheaper

First gluten free fish and chips in 4 years! Never knew I could get them and they didn’t disappoint! Very tasty and good portion size. They were friendly and could t have been more helpful

Food delivered 25 min late and cold, very poor service.

Was told the food had been delivered bit wasn't, phoned up to ask where it was to be told it was the apps fault and the driver had just left the store and then no more than 20 seconds and the driver knocked at my door, the food was cold and the fish was very greasy, very disappointed in the quality of food and customer service.

The food arrived warm at best and overcooked. Part of the order was not even there! Calling the fish and chip shop at 20 minutes late, was informed they were busy and the driver had just left. We shall not be using Broadwater Fryer again. We are very disappointed and literally and metaphorically has left a bitter taste in our mouths.

Large cheesy chips were tiny and curry sauce half full. Food was ok other than that.

Wasn't a pukka pie like advertised and onion rings were soggy. Otherwise okay and food was warm. Not the best nor the worst.

Food got taken to the wrong address, when I called the restaurant I was told the food was waiting for me at said address. When I went to knock on this strangers door they told me the food was in fact taken away when they realised it was the wrong address. Fuming.

Never been here before & unfortunately won’t return! The paper was dripping in fat, the batter on the tiny bit of cod was soaked & mushy & barely any left on the fish

Ordered and paid online , waited over 2 hours , then rang them was told 10 mins ! arrived stone cold 1/2 hour later - will not be ordering again.

On time, hot and good quality! Would’ve liked more than one square of cheese in the quarter pounder but other than that great!

Said it was going to be under 35mins, arrived another 45 mins later. Ordered as we are up against it and knackered, so 45 mins late wasn’t appreciated,

Waited 2 and a half hours. Rang 3 times. Each time told 10 minutes. When we finally rang to cancel it was challenged. Appreciate Fridays are busy but truthful delivery times go along way. Then people can make an informed decision. Easy to do better in this situation.

This was my first visit here and never again. Clearly unable to cope with the demands of uber and just eat orders resulting in a 45 minute wait. My money was taken before I had a chance or idea the wait would be that long. I ordered 2 Pukka pies and large chips. Nothing special or much to prepare or so I thought. I chased them up but got put behind later on line orders. I was told that they were just waiting for the chips but the chips were being served into multiple online orders. The pies I finally got were clearly not Pukka when I got home as advertised on their menu board as they are supposed to come in a silver base foil to start with. They were 2 of the cheapest tasting partly cooked pies (if you can call them that) that I have ever tasted. Awful and the pastry was cheap and nasty with very little meat, nothing like a pukka pie. The large chips were the portion size of a medium and it was obvious staff couldnt meet the demand. Terrible and if you want to advertise Pukka pies then please sell them as that. A total waste if time waiting and money

We waited 1 hr for our food from the estimated time. Tried on numerous occasions to get hold of them, incase it was forgotten . No nofication of the delay, no apology, no gesture of good will for the wait! When it eventually arrived.. 2 hrs after we ordered, the chips were stuck to the paper. Would we order again....u be the judge! Plenty more amazing independent businesses to choose from in Worthing!

Unfortunately very busy so our order took a long time Food is cooked fresh My advice to anyone and myself would be to phone the order in as this would save time waiting

Never ever again from this fish shop.I ordered large cod with medium chips and the cod was very very small peace and the chips was without salt and vinegar …I havent got at work salt and vinegar so I didnt enjoy the food even I trow in the Bin!
