Absolutely amazing Gluten Free Fish and Chips. Crispy and not greasy. So yummy. It’s great to find a chippy that caters for Coeliacs and genuinely cares about gluten contamination. Will go there repeatedly and have told all my friends.

Twice ordered, both times delivered late, cold and clearly reheated. Large cod was small and dripping in oil and placed on top of chips so they took soaked in oil. Oil was old so chips tasted strange and chewy due to reheat. Burger had rock hard bacon and cheese, so cheese stale as was bun, burger salty, lettuce yellow. Not recommended

Initially I was really impressed with their cod and chips. The 3rd time I’m eating from there; the cod and chips just didn’t taste right, like it was old and had just been re heated. Within half an hour of eating I was suffering with nausea, diarrhoea and sickness, I had to leave my young boys and just run upstairs; just felt awful with fever. It’s now almost 1am and so far every hour I’ve been vomiting and suffering with diarrhoea. I have developed food poisoning. Am horrified and upset, hope I’m better by the morning. It’s a disgrace; KEEP AWAY

Best chips around, lovely battered sausages, I find the fish is not as good as some of the more expensive fish & chip shops like Christoforos, but price is much cheaper

First gluten free fish and chips in 4 years! Never knew I could get them and they didn’t disappoint! Very tasty and good portion size. They were friendly and could t have been more helpful

Ordered and paid online , waited over 2 hours , then rang them was told 10 mins ! arrived stone cold 1/2 hour later - will not be ordering again.

Waited 2 and a half hours. Rang 3 times. Each time told 10 minutes. When we finally rang to cancel it was challenged. Appreciate Fridays are busy but truthful delivery times go along way. Then people can make an informed decision. Easy to do better in this situation.

We waited 1 hr for our food from the estimated time. Tried on numerous occasions to get hold of them, incase it was forgotten . No nofication of the delay, no apology, no gesture of good will for the wait! When it eventually arrived.. 2 hrs after we ordered, the chips were stuck to the paper. Would we order again....u be the judge! Plenty more amazing independent businesses to choose from in Worthing!

This was my first visit here and never again. Clearly unable to cope with the demands of uber and just eat orders resulting in a 45 minute wait. My money was taken before I had a chance or idea the wait would be that long. I ordered 2 Pukka pies and large chips. Nothing special or much to prepare or so I thought. I chased them up but got put behind later on line orders. I was told that they were just waiting for the chips but the chips were being served into multiple online orders. The pies I finally got were clearly not Pukka when I got home as advertised on their menu board as they are supposed to come in a silver base foil to start with. They were 2 of the cheapest tasting partly cooked pies (if you can call them that) that I have ever tasted. Awful and the pastry was cheap and nasty with very little meat, nothing like a pukka pie. The large chips were the portion size of a medium and it was obvious staff couldnt meet the demand. Terrible and if you want to advertise Pukka pies then please sell them as that. A total waste if time waiting and money

Absolutely wonderful. The best in town. Always help-full and very friendly. The gluten free options are perfect and they do it all the time, no need to preorder (can take 5 mins longer as the cook to order). The portions are large.

Look no further for excellent and tasty good value food.

Ordered Cod and cheesy chips and curry sauce via just eat,, there was an issue with them running late which was no issue to me as i just said asap,, it happens,, turned up an hour late, still tipped the driver (not his fault) opened it up and my good lord, Ive never ever seen a cod as small as that in my life,, not crispy not nothing, looked like half a chicken nugget, threw it away after 1 bite it was that pathetic, I never moan and never complain as thats just not me but did take a photo of it as i wanted to sort of like say is this really acceptable then deleted it as i just thought leave it be its what it is,, next few hours it stewed on my mind knowing id paid 13.50 for this so did message them, got a reply saying sorry next order free which was acceptable and the right thing to do even though i had stated it wasnt about moaning or freebies or whatever it was just to let them know it was really that bad,, so just said id just like what i originally paid for sent out,, no response since then,, Thats fine as i ended up going to old nicks in pavilion rd.. early delivery, happy driver and the fish was bang on

We have been here twice in the last 2 weeks, they actually serve gluten free food, including battered fish, and sausages. Both times I've ordered gluten free regular cod with chips and it has been superb, and so much care is taken. Well worth a 40 mile round trip. The staff are lovely 😍

Good service from friendly servers, with a smile. Due to their popularity, there are often long wait times but as the food is always good, it is worth it. Never had bad food here and often drive across town just for it. Delivery wait times are similar but again, it's food worth waiting for. Vegetarian options are very good too. Best chip shop in the area. Love it.

I paid £16.95 for this wouldn’t of even fed a child some chips missing the fish had no fish init a Fish finger has more fish init, it was full of batter an flattened the savoly sausage was freezing cold the meal wasn’t even hot it went straight in the bin the man on the phone was rude. I told him I was taken the food back he said we’re closing now even the tho the shop didn’t shut for another 45mins. I very highly recommend do not order from here not worth the money at all

Great fish and chips, and the ¼chicken is awesome

First and last experience if this place today. Ordered via Deliveroo, delivery was fine (though slow) and food was piping hot so no issues with deliveroo. Food however was poor, chips were just a selection of scraps, spam fritter was questionable and the world's most expensive pineapple fritters were not brilliant. And whilst we are at it, I have never seen any other chippy charge for salt and vinegar! Usually use Mr Chippy opposite West Worthing Station and will go back to them without fail as their food is so much better quality and cheaper.

Probably the best fish and chips in Worthing. The owner is very personable, great customer service. The wait for food can be long, especially at weekends. Could possibly do with another member of staff. But definately worth the wait as everything is cooked fresh and absolutely delicious.

After waiting TWO AND A HALF HOURS FOR CHIPS!! On a Thursday. Got fobbed off at 7:30 saying it’ll be five minutes…50 minutes later we weren’t sure if we would get dinner. UNRELIABLE. Then, I remembered the experience we had from Broadwater fryer before!! Being unedible, slimey and disgusting. Frankly how can you get chips so wrong! Do not ever order from here you’ll be lucky if you get your food or salmonella! Worst chip bar I’ve ever ever ever seen

Very disappointed. Medium Cod was very small and batter was overcooked. Chips had lots of black bits on. Wouldn't recommend this fish & chip shop.

Ordered here via Just Eat. Food was 45 min late and when I got it, it was cold. The chips were rock hard, fish was cold and cold in the middle as well. Didn’t want to risk it so I threw it out. Nearly £20 down the drain. I want my money back

Lovely little chippy for a a good meal. There are places to sit for when you are waiting for your food, and there are newspapers to read. Have everything you would expect from a friar and more. Really good.

Pre ordered a meal to collect at 7.30pm. Husband went to collect, said it was chaos with only one lady on. Waited another half an hour. Pointless to pre order.

Being coeliac can be a real ball ache when it comes to take aways! But not if you live in the Worthing area and you want really good fish and chips. I've eaten there four times now, and as well as the food tasting amazing, the staff are really friendly and happy to answer any questions regarding the gluten free options and how they prevent cross contamination. My other half also says the food tastes just as good as non GF fish and chips.

Service was good products not up to scratch

Fish cooked possibly over 5 hours ago, maybe even yesterday. If it was advertised as fish jerky I couldn't fault it. Chips ok and mushy peas ok. Battered sausage and spring roll were good. Not happy about the fish though, whoever wrapped it should be ashamed.

Out of all the fish and chips shops in worthing we have tried in the year of living here ( we have them maybe on a monthly basis as a treat) the broadwater fryer as they call it, is the worst yet. My battered sausage was mushy and when I looked at it was all slimey and stringy it makes me feel sick thinking about it. Safe to say I left that. I tried the FAMOUS hash brown corn dog as my partner had ordered it, again, unedible, it’s a very cheap nasty hot dog with hash brown round it . Embarrassed to have picked this place to eat. Won’t ever be returning at any cost.

Been coming here for years family run business No wonder they have won best chippy of the year.The owner is really nice guy and hes Son .Food is cooked fresh on request.Batter is crispy and golden and not soggy like some other places.They have never cut back on quality and portion size.I stopped going to my last chippy as their prices increased and portion was reduced dramtically.I am vegetarian and the owner does not fry the fish or the chips with the same oil as the sausages. So keep up the good work thank you guys .

Yummy gluten free fish and chips

Really awesomely lovely food and the service - although sometimes a bit slow due to freshly cooking most items - is always top notch. The guys there always chat to my young son, give him his drink early to keep him happy, etc. Really family orientated, and did I mention the scrummy food? Definitely worth a try. It's our favourite for fish and chips. Of course some people will love it (like us) others will not be as impressed; it's the subjective nature of food. Oh, and try to be pleasant to the staff. We often witness really arrogant, ignorant idiots treating the staff like second class citizens. It's uncalled for.

Absolutely delicious, if you're a regular customer you'll get sorted out with special offers. Never been disappointed in here and always getting a few deep fried mars bars as a dessert, they have an astonishing taste.

Great chips. I cant give 5 stars as they still serve food in polystyrene and use plastic bags despite their stated eco policy on the wall.

This is not the closest chippy to me, but I always go there because of the great quality food, always cooked to order, very friendly staff, and very reasonable prices. I will recommend it any day.

The chips are crispy and soft, the fish is perfectly meaty and battered, all served by great people. Eating the food from this gem doesn't leave with you with this feeling of regret that you get from eating fried food especially because the chips are cooked in a healthy oil and the fish is coated in a gluten free batter. This place definitely deserves the name of the best chippy in sussex.
