I was in the store servie was great as was the food, however there was an older male member of staff on the Sunday lunch, who appeared to be making the younger female members very uncomfortable.

Awful customer service and food quality. Have made multiple complaints about said issues and nothing has changed. Just appears to have got worse since these complaints. Appears that the food just gets thrown together and thrown at you. Not a care in the world by the manager. Not a good look for the franchise.

Straight up 1 star 🌟 for this place. Absolute useless and seeing an offer for 50% off downloaded the app after tesco had hardly anything in it. Asked staff for some advice with the app and both staff looked at me like I was an alien. Was told to give it 20 minutes and the app might work. Didn't know anything about the app when asked for their assistance. Doesn't fill with confidence and the menu looked very sparse. Got a better deal going to the local Tesco express for a meal deal a LOT cheaper than the prices subway want nowadays.. Won't be returning to any subway stores now they over priced.

The manager recognises me and automatically changes her gloves as I am vegetarian! Vegetarian menu is not so good: vegetarian patty is highly spicy hot which I am not keen on. Because of that I would say they are not very vegetarian friendly (as a company). This outlet tries really hard to please

I was refused tap water with my subway which is a legal requirement in the UK!

I ordered a footlong and got given six inches.

This Subway Branch is extremely busy and very popular with a very efficient team. It is very fresh on the bread, protein and veggies. I don’t understand the hate targeted , it’s your choice to go in there but this is by far the cleanest, fastest and freshest Subway around in West Sussex.

I love subway .. however the lady manager as many have mentioned before is just rude and speaks so rudely to the customers and the staff literally look petrified of her.... also she is extremely stingy with the salad and makes sure all her staff count the items which is crazy ... its a real shame as it puts me and my family off going in there unfortunately..Best of luck subway durrington with the future if you keep that manager... also I know alot of people that also think the same and will not go in there.

I wouldn't advise on the nachos.

Food is always nice but the lady manager always has an attitude with customers and her staff. Every time I visit she is very argumentative with her customers and this particular visit she was arguing with a male customer and wouldn’t let him be right. It’s very poor customer service and I’ve seen it far too often in here from her

Popped in for a quick lunch stop. Fast service, food was hot and very tasty.

Food was very good and it was nice and hot. Good selection and quicker prepared.

Tesco + Food. It is good behavior. The servicing is fast. Amazing tesco car parking is there. You will feel a good vibe to sit outside in the car and eat food.

Ot was ok found the tables a bit to low to get my chair in so spilt some of my lunch, plus the ordering process is difficult to hear due to the high counter

Came in here for a salad. I have been a fan of Subway salads for years but this has to be the stingiest one I have ever had! I counted,due to the sheer lack of ingredients, 6 spinach leaves and the olives (which I asked if I could have a few extra and usually get a good handful in the salad) 12. Not 12 olives. 12 pieces of sliced olive. Most stores really bulk the salads out with the iceberg lettuce. Not here!! I’d say a pinch of lettuce,not even a handful. Won’t be revisiting this branch again. Added more salad ingredients when I got home. Thank goodness I had at least ordered double chicken for it!

Showed the staff member the 2.49 voucher pointed to it, didnt see them put it in the oven my mistake as i was on my phone, but they made a footlong, additionally i changed my mind on it being toasted beforehand but she toasted anyway (not too important to this). I said i wanted a 6inch not a footlong, she said i pointed to ther 3.99 footlong deal she must have assumed i was trying to scam her get the footlong for the cheaper price but i wasnt, so paid the footlong deal which i did have but didnt really want, to top it off as i left she loudly enough for me to hear, complained about me to the other 2 staff members, very rude, and most certainly will never return to THIS particular subway. p.s. this rude staff member is talked about in other reviews as well seemingly ...

Best Subway in the whole West Sussex. I have been to many and I never have the service and personal service like I have in Durrington. The manager is the best.

Italian B.M.T was well built and presented, and delivered hot. However, the sauces were both missed off this sub, which made it rather dry. The Monterey Jack cheese, which we paid extra for, didn’t get added, just standard American Cheese, which was disappointing. Chicken Teriyaki was as expected, but nice and hot and also well-presented.

Had my usual subway order of 6" Hearty Italian, Chicken Tikka with Lettuce; this time I added Guac to the mix, and it hits different. Love it. I just feel like the cashier could wait until my entire order has finished instead of summing up my total halfway through the process. As it can confuse them as well as the customers with how much they need to pay.

Was very disappointed last night have used this subway for yrs .got 3 subways last night one was a mega meat always get 8 meatballs but the girl only put 6 on i said it should be 8 she said NO it 6 now as the new manager has said only 6 . but Google it and even subway say it 8 meatballs

Good breakfast sub but coffee was not quite hot enough. Machine probably needs checking.

food is good but the fact that they do just eat orders first and not the actual people in the queue just bugs me. staff friendly enough, the staff always change but i think one of them wears and flowery mask and she always does it fast enough. btw, if u want a good sandwich, do meatballs on Italian herbs and cheese, regular cheese, toasted, sweetcorn spinach tomatoes and some extra meatball sauce on top

Still dubious about their coffee not being hot enough even after a free 2nd cup offered, has anybody else had this trouble or have they got it sorted finally (Subway by Tesco, Durrington).

Poorly organised and poor service, the food was as expected but it appeared that they were so busy with just eat orders that it was chaos behind the counter and orders were rushed.

Always tasty. Staff are friendly and helpful. They always remember my order.

Very busy but reasonable wait time. Chap behind the counter executed a wrap with precision, detail and athleticism. The only one to let down the team down was the slow cashier who handed the bag of food below the perspex screen reminiscent of a game of operation. All in all, an above average experience.

Arrived for quick lunch bite whilst stopping off at Tescos. Staff unhappy. A customer telling us to watch out as guy over charges and unbelievably next customer was overcharged by over £8. We too are asked to pay precisely £3.50 more than actual price. Went to sit down and counted a choice of 12 tables free, all of which required cleaning. The floor was disgusting. Whilst sat there eating our meal we hear of another customer querying the maths. During the 15 mins sat there eating there was a period of 5 mins no customers. No attempt whatsoever made to to at least wipe tables and sweep floor. Does make you wonder what the kitchens must be like. Only scrapes 2 star as the subs were OK. Funnily enough the last time any take away tried to overcharge me it was another Subway in Worthing. Do your maths before you pay is all.

The atendence that i got from 1 of the employs was shameful and im not going back in there again due to her rudness.She was so rude to me and my friends it was disgusting also the turkey the was in my sandwich was gone off.

for a shop that allegedly is in the top 10 busiest in the country. it is surprising how good the subs are even when the queue is building, ok a location next to Tesco is one think though their must be a reason we all return.

Does what it says same as all the other subways tables could be cleaned more often but sub was nice and my boy enjoyed his lunch

I have been to a few subways in the past, some I would not even entertain entering!!! This one I must say is pretty good. Its clean, all the staff are on the ball and very attentive which is quite refreshing.Helpful with choosing salads and patient too, I never felt rushed at all and my custom was important to them as much as the last customer.Really reasonable eating too. I usually go for the 12" as I am usually quite peckish!! Where as the other half goes for the 6" (that's what she's used to!!)Eating in is best as its hot and fresh rather than driving home etc. and unwrapping a soggy mess!!Can't wait til our next visit......

the food was scatttered all over the place and saw flys coming out of the meat, my partner is a vegetarian and there was bits of meat in the salad ,, very poor , walked out of the place

This is quite a big subway, all menu choices were available staff were friendly and served me quickly so overall impressed with the place and would visit again if passing in the area.

Popped in there for some lunch, tye whole store dirty the floor with food on tables that had not been cleared, then to be served by a very bad attitude guy who seem to me like he didn't want to be there

Fuimos al metro en Durrington para el almuerzo. La tienda estaba sucia con muchas mesas de los clientes con nuestros alimentos izquierda izquierda, nada nuevo allí! Lo que hizo esta experiencia tan malo fue el hecho de que a pesar de la cola que se fuera de la puerta, el director decidió su prioridad sole era de entablar una conversación con sus amigos por el contador mientras que hacer absolutamente nada para servir a los clientes. Me tomó más de 20 minutos para que nos sirvieran y del conjunto de esta vez el director se inclinaba en la puerta detrás del hasta charlando como si ella no tenía un cuidado en el mundo. Ella era totalmente ajenos a cualquier cliente. Incluso una misma derramado un café punto y todavía se levantó charlando. Cómo un director puede comportarse como es más allá de mí. Total falta de respeto por sus clientes y su empleador.

Plenty of seating inside, friendly staff, only giving 4 stars because sometimes it can be a bit messy in there with regards to other peoples rubbish. Other wise everything good you expect from a subway.

called in when working nearby had a meatball sandwich which was pretty good not the best i had ever had seemed a liitle cold and needed warming up but ok

No siendo expertos en comida rápida a la hora del desayuno, no sólo era muy bueno y barato, pero montados, preparado y servido rápidamente con un personal muy amable.

Popped in after work for a quick bite, service was good, even though it was busy, the roll was fresh, and the fillings all looked freshly replenished, I was offered a meal deal which saved a few pennies, and was asked for my loyalty card.I did take away but looked at the half full seating area, the empty tables looked clean and free from rubbish.

It does make me smile when I read the other reviews - you're going to a fast food restaurant, not a 5* hotel, and I would place money on it that all of the before have been visited since.Lovely, quick& enjoyable. Staff were polite and helpful, thank you!

Perhaps it was a bad day for the staff but what started out as slow service, gave me the opportunity to notice the grubby sandwich preparation boards and sandwich fillings display area, before walking out of the door counting my blessings. Don't waste your time

Been here many times and just love the layout and customer service. It's Subway ... AT ITS BEST! If you are in Durrington and want a quick lunch - definitely visit Subway.

Walked into Subway around 11 and there were 2 staff and one customer paying. I approached the male standing by the bread end of the counter and after waiting for eye contact he mumbled - sorry sir my colleague will serve you shortly and walked out the back - the female finished taking the other customers money and rather than serving me thought that turning her back on me and cleaning the coffee machine was a priority. I am not invisible - I am 6 foot 18 stone and was carrying a fluorescent green - hi vis crash helmet. Being made to feel like a worthless piece of crap - I thought I might have better luck with a Tescos meal deal and walked out of the shop.

Had major munchies so ended up at subway for lunch, staff quick and helpful. Especially the young man at the til who explained the loyalty card to me.

I've been in a lot of Subways, in a lot of countries including their native America. We British just don't do it like they do. They have "sandwich artists" while we have minimum wage workers.Was it bad? No. Was it excellent? No. It was OK.I guess my biggest complaint is they regularly run out of the bread I want (honey oat). Tasty enough, with that distinctive Subway style just not as good as the original.
