Subway Durrington in Worthing

It can sometimes be hit and miss when it comes to the knowledge of the staff but whomever seems to be the manager has a great memory of her clients and their preferences. The food tastes really nice and the atmosphere is really good since the revamp. When they get busy, it seems that there are too many of them behind the counter, leaving the rest of the restaurant a bit neglected (cleanliness) but they make sure to get to it as soon as the rush dissipates. Just one point which could be better: they prep the nachos in boxes and last time it tasted stale and like cardboard. Plus the paper used isn't ideal as the cheese sticks to it and you end up eating paper if you're trying to eat the delicious cheese. Make sure to use the app for some cool rewards as this restaurant participates.

I’m really disappointed on this occasion. Cheese bite stone cold I even wonder if they were heated up at all. Sub wrapped in tin foil all ripped. Looks like it was literally thrown together brown lettuce limited filling. Bread mashed together not happy at all.

Awful service. I left a note saying do not toast and asked for double cheese The sub was toasted and had no cheese. This is not the first time it's happened. They are dismissive and advise me to order again and a refund from Just Eat

Waffle fries were inedible, no labels on the food so no one knew whose was whose food till we opened them all up. which is not ideal when its a work lunch but was okay.

I have never seen anything like it. The sandwiches we received were an abomination. Thrown together. No cheese on any sandwich. Cookies were wrong. How hard can it be?

Sub turned up mooshy and not sub shaped dorritos from nachos were soggy and all to one side in the box. Next time will just be going in myself... Not worth the delivery

I was in the store servie was great as was the food, however there was an older male member of staff on the Sunday lunch, who appeared to be making the younger female members very uncomfortable.

Not delivered. Cannot get hold of anyone . Might get a refund in 7 days. Refund does not include the service charge, tip I paid to the driver and the delivery charge.

Awful customer service and food quality. Have made multiple complaints about said issues and nothing has changed. Just appears to have got worse since these complaints. Appears that the food just gets thrown together and thrown at you. Not a care in the world by the manager. Not a good look for the franchise.

Straight up 1 star 🌟 for this place. Absolute useless and seeing an offer for 50% off downloaded the app after tesco had hardly anything in it. Asked staff for some advice with the app and both staff looked at me like I was an alien. Was told to give it 20 minutes and the app might work. Didn't know anything about the app when asked for their assistance. Doesn't fill with confidence and the menu looked very sparse. Got a better deal going to the local Tesco express for a meal deal a LOT cheaper than the prices subway want nowadays.. Won't be returning to any subway stores now they over priced.

Wrong drink was given to me. I went to collect so would’ve been nice for them to let me know, or if the drink I ordered was out of stock to ask what I’d like instead. Was given something I don’t like as a substitute and didn’t know until I was home

my food hasn’t even been delivered

This is the second time I have ordered and the fillings have been very minimal - asked for lettuce, pickles and sweetcorn. Had 2 pickles, barely any sweetcorn and 4 bits of lettuce. Also no onion sprinkles. The time previously I ordered the cheese had not even melted. It was never this bad it has got worse and now I don’t want to order anymore as it’s worse each time I order.

Food tasted bad, was sent the wrong drink which was way higher in sugar which being a diabetic I couldn’t drink.

I the sandwiches came and were delicious but I ordered a Pepsi diet and 2 raspberry cookies but got a coke and chocolate chip cookies very disappointed in this as I can’t drink full fat coke

The manager recognises me and automatically changes her gloves as I am vegetarian! Vegetarian menu is not so good: vegetarian patty is highly spicy hot which I am not keen on. Because of that I would say they are not very vegetarian friendly (as a company). This outlet tries really hard to please

Temper evident sticker broken I am not touching that food driver had rolled it up to hide that fact. Not ordering from here again. Was expecting it to arrive sooner but it was only few minutes late after initial time I had tried to cancel earlier but unable to do that despite what the "help" pages say. I will priobably avoid justeat from now on even though I use have used the service regularly. When a sticker that states temper evident sticker is broken there is something wrong going on somewhere along the chain. Waste of money and time for me but lesson learned.

I was refused tap water with my subway which is a legal requirement in the UK!

absolute chaos, eagerly awaiting my food. it arrives later than stated, not a big deal. I open the bag looks like things are missing and wrong. Checked the receipt and it wasn't even my order. All sorted in the end, Victoria on the live chat sorted a refund instantly and I reordered, second time round they gave me the wrong drinks. Annoying but not a deal breaker.

Not very happy. When it asked for what salad I wanted I only asked for lettuce, onion and sweetcorn. When I received the order it also had cucumbers, peppers and tomatoes in. Very disappointed. I react to tomatoes and cucumbers so couldn’t eat the meal.

Unfortunately items missing from sub

I ordered n paid for 9 hash browns n received 6!!! Also the salad was very sparse n just all thrown in together! My salad was very similar when I last ordered it but thought maybe it may be better this time. Don’t think I would recommend durrington subway or use again

My whole sandwich had only 1 piece of lettuce in it, only half the sandwich had onions and not even a handful of chicken throughout the sandwich, the Bombay sandwich was also smushed squished and torn as well as this my Dorito packet came OPENED. My other sandwich was as simple as chicken lettuce and mayonnaise and yet they still managed to mess it up by not putting much lettuce or chicken as well as it being crushed and torn, also why do the sauces come separately? I want them in my sandwich.

Everything was good except for the nachos. They line the box with paper which sticks to the nachos when pulled away due to the cheese sticking. This means that some of the nachos are inedible.

I must've misread on the Doritos Chilli Heatwave, as I expected it to be a crisp packet not nachos, so my fault on that part. However I ordered a Pepsi and I got given Cola instead. Other than that, service was good.

I think they forgot the filling in the two stacks, either that or the shop thought it funny to squish them so much it looked like a bacon sandwich

After getting the wrong order last time, it came on time and was correct today! Staff had left a note saying sorry and given me an extra cookie!! So thank you even though it wasn’t your fault!

This Subway Branch is extremely busy and very popular with a very efficient team. It is very fresh on the bread, protein and veggies. I don’t understand the hate targeted , it’s your choice to go in there but this is by far the cleanest, fastest and freshest Subway around in West Sussex.

I love subway .. however the lady manager as many have mentioned before is just rude and speaks so rudely to the customers and the staff literally look petrified of her.... also she is extremely stingy with the salad and makes sure all her staff count the items which is crazy ... its a real shame as it puts me and my family off going in there unfortunately..Best of luck subway durrington with the future if you keep that manager... also I know alot of people that also think the same and will not go in there.

Disappointing. One of the subs wasn't toasted as requested. The wedge portion was small, although I ordered a large and no seasoning even though this was on the menu.

Food is always nice but the lady manager always has an attitude with customers and her staff. Every time I visit she is very argumentative with her customers and this particular visit she was arguing with a male customer and wouldn’t let him be right. It’s very poor customer service and I’ve seen it far too often in here from her

Food delivered an hour late and was cold and thrown together. Sauce for the subway came in a separate pot so had to finish putting it together myself and was no where near enough sauce

The food was freezing cold and ice cream had melted and leaked over everything. No crisps in the bag which I ordered and paid for. I want a full refund!!
