Clean premises, polite and helpful staff and always cooked fresh everytime I've been in there. Portions sizes are generous and prices very reasonable too.

Tried the mushrooms This time crispy golden and dipped in a spectacular curry sauce. Oasis drink to cleanse the palate. Don’t miss out on this dining experience the best you can find in Worthing. If I’m within 50 miles of this chippy I swing by.

Really good quality food and very lovely people.

We often order takeaway fish and chips and we find the food is always well prepared. The service is efficient and friendly. Orders can be taken over the 'phone and, unless they are really busy, the food is ready for collection within ten minutes. A wide range of alternatives to traditional fish and chips is offered but I can't comment on these as I have never tried any of them.

Mr Chippy has in my opinion the best chips in Worthing. I'm always greeted with a cheerful hello and the service is brilliant. Can't ask for more really.

Judging from the name, we weren't sure if we were going to get good fish & chips. However when we stepped in, the friednly owner greeted us cheerfully and came out from the counter and showed us where the nearest ATM was; they only accept cash. His wife was also very friendly and cheerful. When we came back, there was a long queue. We ordered large Cod & Chips (£7.50) and they didn't disappoint. The batter was cripsy and tasty - one of the tastiest we've had - and cod was super fresh. We would have given them a 5-star if the Chip were crispier. Still it was an excellent value for money.

What a great chippy! It’s run by a lovely couple for whom nothing is too much trouble! The quality of the food is without question. The prices are incredibly fair. I mean - how can you do pensioner’s meals for £9 for two? And the portions are massive. Just taste their batter - it’s crisp. They serve great quality cod. Don’t know how they do it!

Mr Chippy Fish & Chips are absolutely delicious! Highly recommended, by far the best fish & chips around! We visited from London and had a lovely weekend in Worthing by the seaside. We had a fantastic meal, very fresh cod in perfect batter that was beautifully cooked, perfect tasty chips with a divine curry sauce. The staff were amazing and very welcoming. The food was superb as well as being great value for money too. It’s only a short stroll to the promenade if you fancy being by the seaside after a pleasant meal! Without question we will definitely be back again on our next visit to Worthing.

Today Saturday 19th July 2019, at 1245, I had a large cod and chips, cooked as you wait, it had a lovely batter on the fish, chips very nice and a good size, I had it as a take away, it was lovely and hot, well wrapped, as for after 10 minutes they were still hot, when I was able to eat them, thank you Mr chippy very enjoyable, and friendly staff well done Mr chippy

This without a shadow of a doubt is the best and most lovely chippy in the South. The couple that run it are so incredibly kind and friendly. They are an absolute pleasure to speak to. They are incredibly lovely to customers, quick service with passion and a smile! Food is DELICIOUS and generous too! Prices = amazing. All round fantastic place to go. I have been a customer for 13 years and cannot praise this place high enough. They deserve so much positive recognition. Brilliant hard workers and even tastier food!

Have eaten from most of the fish and chip shops in Worthing, this is the best by far, fish was cooked to perfection and the chips actually had colour and taste to them unlike the pale half cooked chips you get from most chip shops, can’t recomend this highly enough, well done mr chippy, finally I’ve found perfect fish and chips

How has this place never won best in Worthing.The other places never come near to these guys in my eyes!!Never had a bad meal from them. Latest visit was delightful. Plaice is always succulent and wholesome. Batter is fantastic and portion is very good, if anything a little too big. Chips are really nice always too, fluffy inside and a nice crunch to them even after a short drive home still have that chip shop crunch u want!!Bought a battered sausage for my daughter too and that was polished off very quickly and she is normally fussy with the batter, was no stopping her though!!Have travelled from sompting to them before and would gladly drive past others to buy from here.

We have been coming here for many years as a family.Fish always cooked fresh to order and excellent size. My four year old daughter has OAP fish and chips great price and good portion. Owners very friendly and polite, they remember their customers by name or faces. Highly recommend, fantastic for taking to the seaside for a picnic on the beach. Well worth the trip from Horsham.

The large cod was maximum medium size, the large chips is same, but they can't calculate well the prices. 4.00+1.80+0.80=£7.00 I'm really disappointed.

I count myself very lucky to have this superb fish & chip shop that is walking distance from our house.The best part is the owners are an old Chinese couple who have mastered a British tradition.Everything is cooked fresh but quickly even with the shop being busy, and they have a batter that might not look as good as others, but it has a distinctive taste that I find second to none.In my picture, they have even made it look like a whale.

I use this "Chippy" as its close to home and is one that cooks everything when you get there. One might have to wait for the cooking time ,but is worth waiting for.

Have had fish and chips from here several times, always good. Very generous portions, fresh tasting fish and crisp,floury chips. Very pleasant service and not expensive. We did take away.

This restaurant is really handy if you've just jumped off the train opposite. It offers a takeaway service and also seating area inside. I had a sausage and chips lunch recently and sat inside because it was raining outside. The staff are always friendly and chatty and the shop always looks clean and welcoming. Situated on one of the main roads in Worthing, Tarring Road near Dovetail antiques shop.

Good fish and chips again and again. Mr Chippy is always busy which is a good judge of how good the food is. I normally have Cod and I have also tried the Huss both of which are very nice. Chips are just right for my taste - not too crispy and not too floppy. What more can one say?

Forget your pukka pies & sausages. This is the BEST fish & chips in town!! These guys remember your name and order just like your local pub & bar lady knows what you want to drink when you walk in! This friendly family run chippy is no fuss great flavour fish & chips, very reasonably priced & the fish is crispy & HUGE! The chips match up too! With the great service, large portions, fantastic customer service & the family atmosphere this really is the best chippy around!! Don't take my word for it, try it for yourself you won't regret it!!!!

Wow.....I love this place.....it's the sort of chippy you would normally walk past in favour of one of those fancy fish and chip restwants that keep appearing charging £15 for fish and chips.Don't be fooled by the exterior of this old style chip shop.....I've never had anything less than a great meal from here......the chips are always the same......crispy cooked ready to eat......service is fast and friendly.You really should try it......forget all those fancy chippys......and head for this one bang opposite west Worthing station......you won't regret it.For £5.80 you can be fed for month......drink included ;)
