Went on a Friday as it opened, fish okay but chips very dry as if they were reheated from lunchtime First time since lockdown so very disappointed but will give them a second chance sometime

This great value fish and chip shop is the best around both for quality and value. Consistently good - never had a bad experience. Recommended

The large cod came in 2 bits a long thin bit which looked like a battered jumbo sausage and a small bit the batter was so thick it was disgusting and due to the thick batter there was not much meat of the fish. Also had a burger and found the burgers very greasy and not much meat taste, the chips were ok and large portion, its a shame first time going here but will not go back only went due to or chippy closes on a Tuesday

Have been to many chips shops in my time none compare to how good this place is! Staff are lovely and their food is even better, generous potions and good prices. Can't beat it

Take away cod and chips cod had obviously been cooked for a while and batter was hard and fish dry. Plentiful supple of chips but that is all that can be said for it. Would be reluctant to try again

Had a takeaway from here and it was amazing. The cod and chips were very well cooked and my son said his battered sausage was the best he's ever had! Very reasonably priced too. The counter staff are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended

Ordered for delivery. Came within 10 mins of ordering. Wrong kids meal. Chips were brown and dry like they're had been sitting there a while and like done in old oil. The fish had thick undercooked batter Onion rings were soggy. Very disappointed! Manager wasn't helpful!

Have food delivered regularly and it always arrives piping hot, well cooked and generous portions. Highly recommended

Went to get fish and chips the girl said ive gave you large save you waiting no you gave me large as you was closing and couldnt be bothered The fish had been there ages rock hard dried out the chips where warmed up all green and black never again

Wow!! This fish was so nice, really thick and chunky with light crispy golden batter!! The chips were nice too, but it's so hard to find decent cod and this place has done it!! Delivery est 45 mins but arrived after only 20 mins!! Totally recommend and would buy again!!!

This chip shop is usually our regular but our last two visits have not been great. Early on Friday evening it was clear that our chips had been re heated from lunchtime and the food in general was not as hot as it could be. The cod as well seemed like a re heat from lunchtime, not cooked to order that we are used to.Service is efficient however but no more re heats please. We did arrive soon after opening however.

We have started using this shop every week as the food is great and the owners we call friends, They deliver with speed or we just call in, always happy to see us and always good food. Would Highly recommend, you will not be disappointed.

Chicken and lamb kebabs are of the highest quality every time we order them. Chips are clean, fluffy and tasty. Totally recommend this place for traditional Chip shop grub!
