My friend and I wanted to go to the farm shop which is always well stocked and the best thing is there is minimal plastic packaging on the items, you can get most things and at s reasonable price. Sadly the strawberries were not from their farm. We went into the coffee shop and had a warmed fruit scone with butter and ham and a hot drink in a mug each. This was very reasonably priced at £7.20 and the scone was huge and rather tasty. The drinks were good. You can get a breakfast until 11.30 am, they do sandwiches, panini’s, jacket pots, soup etc and s nice choice of cakes. There are gifts and cards in the cafe that can be purchased. Our only regret was that we did not have time to pick our own fruit to take home, next time. Their is plenty of parking, outside seating and facilities.

I must admit to complete laziness. When we first moved here we always went to Roundstone Farm for our veg and fruit. Asda moved in and I caved in and bought from them. However we recently decided to pay Roundstone another few visits. Good selection, fresh fruit and veg, some locally grown and reasonable prices. There’s also a small gardening section and general produce etc. There is a tea room next door as well. Easy parking. Must make more effort as it’s rewarding to visit.

This is a Farm Shop and Tea Room side by side on the Littlehampton Road (A259) outside Worthing, both of which are well worth a visit whether you are going to 'pick your own' or not. If you're feeling virtuous there is a wide variety of fruit and vegetables to pick fresh from the fields (they provide you with a map showing the location of what's available and there ARE toilets according to the map). If you prefer someone else to do the back-breaking work for you, the shop has a tempting display of fruit, veg, wines and pre-packed cakes on offer - you'll more than likely leave with more than you intended to buy! The Tea Room next door has a lovely atmosphere and there are all kinds of trinkets/gifts to admire while you're in there, all for sale. There is seating in a barn as well as outside at the front and at the rear of the barn, where you'll also find the toilets. The menu is pretty good for a tea room and the staff are helpful and friendly. I had an enormous fruit scone (served warm) with jam and cream and my daughter-in-law had a ploughman's lunch served with a beautifully fresh and tasty roll. We both had an iced coffee which went down a treat as it was a boiling hot day. The only 'fly in the ointment' was the flies buzzing round but you can't really control them without closing the doors and, if they'd done that, we would have passed out as it was one of those swelteringly hot days to rival the Caribbean that day! If you're in the area, give yourself a treat and pop in here - highly recommended.

This was the worst teashop/café that I have been to in a long time. The tea and coffee were fine the cakes were not too bad but the premises!!! It was cold, the place had a smell of burnt fat which made our eyes water and lingered on out=r clothes after we had left. The place is in dire need of a dusting especially around the windows which were covered in cobwebs. The service was not great either, it seemed to be that the only staff were some disenchanted teenaged girls who looked as if they would rather be anywhere else, and I can only agree with them. This is such a shame as the pick your own and the farm shop are both excellent.

Took our 4 year old and it he loved it. Fields clearly marked with the different fruits / veg and the tractor does circuits with plenty of room on the trailer for families to move around exploring different areas. Having not been there for many years we were pleased to see it is well organised and two friendly ladies on the gate weighed and priced up when we were finished. There are maps to take as you walk in and small boxes with carry handles or bags to collect your produce as you walk around.Tips:Take a small knife if you want broccoli, cabbage etc as it will help you pick and trim. There is a fork in the carrot field but this was is use most of the time and attached to a log (to prevent forking thieves) so a small hand fork would help you be more independent as trying to pull them up by hand results in a handful of leaves. The tea room was excellent and provided a perfect pit-stop when we were finished. Reasonable prices, good portions and friendly. There is also a farm shop and car-boot sale on a Sunday next door.*They also have Gluten Free bread - brilliant!Parking was free and there are loads of spaces, easy access from the A27 as well.Take sun cream / hats on warm day as you are very exposed in the fields with no real shade.

This is a well run farm for people to pitch up and pick your own choice of produce. Various different times of the year have different items, obviously, as it is a farm. Strawberries, raspberries, corn, carrots, cauliflowers, brocolli, pumpkin, potatoes, beetroots, pak choi, onions, plums, apples and the like. There is a vehicle that drives around and can carry passengers to different parts of the farm and back to the exit to weigh and pay. The car park takes a lot of cars. I live locally and have been visiting these PYO fields for years. Yesterday's experience has put a stop to that, I will not visit again. We arrived about 4pm, disappointed Strawberry's had finished, walked through to Plums. Loads of fruit on the ground rotting but nothing on the trees, my daughter and I managed to find 2 plums. We walked past another family who couldn't find anything either. We went on to Raspberries, again found nothing. BUT there was loads of rotten fruit dried out on the bushes. The problem wasn't lack of fruit, we had, had a pleasant walk. The problem came when we returned to the exit. They had just closed, early, the counter was shut. As we walked towards the woman she gestured to hurry up. I turned up our punnets to show they were empty and she wasn't happy. When we got to the kiosk the 'lady' asked what we had wanted and accused us of lying that we couldn't find anything to pick. The implication was that we had been eating in the field and buying nothing. I wouldn't mind so much if we HAD but there wasn't even anything to eat!!Went to Asda to buy fruit, it was considerably cheaper than we would have paid if we had picked it ourselves.

We decided to visit roundstone pick your own after a lovely visit there a couple of years ago, well I wish we hadn't. Arriving at 3:30 we assumed that we had ample time to get what we were after given closing time was 5pm. At 4:40 we were informed 'we are now closed, you have to leave' given that last admission is 4:30 I thought that was ridiculous, basically if you arrive at 4:30 you'd have a whole 10 minutes to pick your fruit & veg. Being quite put out by this we none the less still made our way to the till, clearly that was not satisfactory enough as the young man who I will openly brand as a bully decided to yell at my sister, myself & our 3 young children 'you need to go! We haven't got time!' I will point out we were on our way to pay, had not stopped & were surrounded by families still picking thier fruit, but give the fact they had men with them clearly we were an easier target! I did confront the 'man' who had decided to start yelling at us for no justifiable reason & he didnt even apologise, I then further made a complaint to the manager who told me 'he's a nice boy really' I told him he needs to ensure his staff have some manners & got a shrug and a half hearted apology. Needless to say im disgusted, I will never visit this place again, the service is clearly in need if some major attention, at the end of the day we are there to spend money! The least you could expect is good manners, not bullying! I will endeavor to tell all the local mums about this as I know some were keen to try it for a day out. NEVER AGAIN!!!

What a fab time my children had filling their punnets with lovely juicy big strawberries. It's such a shame others have rated them down for the fruit as I guess with any farm you have to account to various factors such as weather, how many people have made it there before you etc. Can't flair for the plums to be ready, when I asked they said in a few weeks hopefully. It was extremely busy last Sunday and we went again during the week and it was a lot nicer. My only gripe is that the farm shop was selling potatoes grown in Cyprus. If I wanted foreign veg I'd go across the road to asda.Otherwise I sincerely rate this as a fab day out. But take a picnic and drinks and eat on the picnic benches next to the pick your own entrance. We had been to this little resturant many times in the past couple of years but it had been closed over the winter and only just re opened decided to pop back in on way home from a weekend away.Well we were most disappointed. The counter has now been moved to the end of the restaurant and the shelving around the edge with little bits and bobs to purchase had now gone... the walls bare as well where they used to have clocks and this for purchase haning on them. The menus were the same which we had sampled many times... and the food it plentiful and fresh and very tasty.. so no compaints there. This time of visiting we only wanted a coffee. There was about 6 people in there when we arrived, but it was so chilly in there that we had to keep our coats on and left as quickly as possible.I am sorry as this has changed so much as we now have taken it off our morning coffee list of places to go... unless we hear different from our friends that they have made changes back to how it was.... I bought many little presents.... infact every time I went there I purchased something from their gifts for sale.

Roundstone Farm mainly centres on the PYO fields with the farm shop and tea rooms adjoining it.The pick-your-own farm is a fabulous few hours out - there are free tractor rides to the various fields and all you pay is the cost of the produce your bring to the till (they don't weigh the children on entry and exit!).Contrary to the opinion of a previous reviewer, the prices are very reasonable - currently (Aug 2012) £4.90/kg for gorgeous raspberries for example, which is about half the price of supermarkets. The fields are well-kept, but are fields nonetheless, not a kitchen garden!Toilets are located behind the tea-rooms, which is a way to walk from the fields.

Fields of poor quality fruit and vegetables at vastly inflated prices, the smell of rotting cabbages was enough to put anyone off.

Wasn't expecting much based on its surrounding eg garden center chains. But what a lovely lunch wife had cauliflower cheese wish was lovely, I had home made maltesers cake yummy. Will be visiting again soon. I'm assuming it hasn't been there long as it wasn't busy. Then when lunch was finished they have a well stock local produce shop next door.

This venue is superb - the caterers are fantastic, the gardens lovely and public transport links excellent. Everything is there for a wonderful event. It definitely rates 5 star. However, I do agree with other reviews. There does need to be better signage when you arrive and even finding Reception is a task… even more so, if no one is there……..

Very nice food! Very well presented and the burger was amazing! Lovely staff. Very polite. Will definitely be coming back to have a coffee and cake as they all looked unbelievable at the counter.
