Stopped for a light lunch with my wife, whilst visiting a m other local business in Penarth. I had the Crab, Mango & Basil salad and my wife the Welsh Rarebit. Both dishes were very tasty and will keep us going til teatime.

We just want to say a huge THANK YOU for the delicious food that Mehmet and his team served at our wedding. We were so touched with the level of care and attention that they put into the event, from planning and preparation to the quality of what they achieved on the day itself. We absolutely loved how colourful and celebratory the dishes were and it was all so beautifully presented. It was a real 'wow' moment when we walked into the hall and saw the meze on the tables. The food felt like a really important and memorable part of the day and we were thrilled with how it turned out. Lots of guests said the food was incredible and asked where it was from. We have wholeheartedly recommended visiting the restaurant.

Been coming here for years but will sadly not be returning after 2 wasted journeys. Firstly, turned up at 17.30 on a Sunday only to be told the pub now closes at 18.00 on Sundays! No other pub I know does this - is this a pub or a restaurant? The second time, stopped in on Saturday as usual at 17.00 after walking the dog, to be turned away as they have a new rule of no dogs after 17.00. There were empty tables so to turn away customers like this seems ridiculous and poor business sense. Given that a lot of people who work office hours walk their dogs after work, this rule alienates a whole demographic. Time to give other venues a go - with more amenable opening times and fewer 'rules'.

Over priced. Service was ok but not great. Food was tragic. It was completely tasteless, Yorkshire tasted like cardboard. Meat was very chewy (beef). Very poor portions. Gravy portion was also not enough to serve 2 people. All the veg was burnt, couldn’t tell between beetroot and carrots, never known carrots to be charcoal black in colour. No peas, stuffing, green beans, broccoli, parsnips, etc. 2 roast potatoes each. No offering of sauces like cranberry or mint sauce. Table behind us also sent their entire food back as the meat was chewy and full of fat. (Beef) Left starving and £60 down. We’re not usually ones to complain about food or even write a review, but we wouldn’t want anyone else to have to go through the disappointment we’ve just had. .

Had so many recommendations about this cafe, that we decided to try it out. Lovely atmosphere, the brothers are so friendly and welcoming. I opted for the lasagne with salad and chips, my husband had the corned beef pie with chips, peas and gravy and my grandson had the chicken nuggets, chips and beans. Food was served within minutes, steaming hot. Have to say it didn't disappoint, food was delicious. The cafe itself is busy and we can see why, it's a very popular eatery, will we be back? Oh yes that's guaranteed. Well done!! 10/10
