What a lovely place to eat we had coffee milkshake club sandwich & BLT sandwich absolutely delicious . Will definitely be going back next time in Penarth

Great good and huge portions and this great traditional café. Very good for vegetarian dishes.

Had so many recommendations about this cafe, that we decided to try it out. Lovely atmosphere, the brothers are so friendly and welcoming. I opted for the lasagne with salad and chips, my husband had the corned beef pie with chips, peas and gravy and my grandson had the chicken nuggets, chips and beans. Food was served within minutes, steaming hot. Have to say it didn't disappoint, food was delicious. The cafe itself is busy and we can see why, it's a very popular eatery, will we be back? Oh yes that's guaranteed. Well done!! 10/10

It's great news that The Galley is now opened until 9pm every night. It's always been a fun, intimate place to go with very good food for breakfast and lunch, so we couldn't wait to try the evening menu. We went last night for a bottle of wine and some sharing plates. The quality, quantity and presentation of the Welsh cheese platter and the Vegan Nibbler are all highly commendable. Everything on both plates was inviting and delicious - and there is so much of it, that we had to ask for a doggy bag! We did manage to finish the very good and well priced bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon though! The evening ambiance is lovely too - with candle light and great music, the place is transformed. but still retains the warm welcome and great service which is what we are always greeted with whether we go to The Galley, morning, noon or night!

Lovely location near to the cliff top walk . Only part of the premises were open due to high winds so seating limited and was very close to the playground so noisy but didn’t bother us Friendly staff and tables cleared very quickly Had the full cooked breakfast only minor issues was that honey had been added to the cooked mushrooms which I didn’t particularly enjoy but some might Quality ingredients and piping hot

Disappointed with this Costa branch. The shop consistently closes earlier than advertised, which is very inconvenient. On top of that, I’ve overheard staff using inappropriate language, which is unprofessional and off-putting. What’s more concerning is seeing staff leaving with large bags of food at the end of the day. It leaves an impression that food waste might not be handled properly or fairly. This branch really needs better management and customer focus to uphold Costa’s usual standards.

Excellent food, competitive prices, and staff who are always very welcoming and who also take very good care of disabled people like my wife who is wheelchair bound. These staff set the high level of customer service that every pub should achieve

Three women stood behind the counter took an age to take our order then an age to bring it out. £26 for fish chips chicken nuggets. Don’t offer take away boxes, won’t give take away bags. Disinterested, rude and ignorant. Plenty of good chippies around I would avoid this place like the plague.
