Sunday roast Great Sunday roast large portions and all served with a smile, however no apple juice available and no credit or debit cards accepted but I will return and recommend to others.

Was the best chinese I've had in a long while!! All the food came out piping hot, great flavour! Shame the music system wasn't working but with good company i can forgive that! Best thing i would say is u can order what starters u would like from an extensive choice in comparison to the normal! Will defo be visiting again! BEST banquet (eat as much as you like) available in the area I would say and I do love my chinese!!!

I'd like to say a massive Thank You to Sharon and the staff at The Rose and Crown. We celebrated my mum's 80th birthday at the end of the December. The Rose & Crown were able to accommodate 21 of us and helped us plan a menu for a very reasonable price. All of the starters were served at the same time and everyone was surprised by the size of the portions and quality of the food. The staff then brought our mains -which were more than ample. The staff used our names to give the right dinner to the right person and it really gave a personal touch. All of the food was good, traditional pub grub and it was all piping hot. I would fully recommend The Rose & Crown Hartlip for a traditional meal in a lovely countryside pub.

I have ordered online and to be for delivery…this isn’t the first time either, I then call up to ask how long the wait is for the delivery because the automatic message didn’t seem right because 30mins to cook and then delivery isn’t even enough time. And the lady on the phone was just incredibly rude and I mentioned about it hay I’ve already paided for the delivery charge which for me was £4 and I said okay could it be delivered and I’ll pay the delivery charge…now an hour goes by and I call them up again I said to the lady I’ll pay for the delivery charge and she was sarcastic, rude and clearly doesn’t know how to work in customer service and or in hospitality. (I’ve also taken screenshots of the order online and mentioned this to the lady in the first call) Now still waiting for probably stone cold food and a -£4 in cash just for a small pizza… Just to note I ordered @5:48pm it’s now 7:14pm. And it’s just rocked up.

Good hot food - nchips were a little bit overcooked ( might have been refried a few times).

Driver never delivered our order. I messaged to ask if they needed directions as the map showed the were past my house. the order was then marked as delivered but I never received my food

Despite have very few staff on the service was excellent and the food, well worth the wait. The best Steak and Kidney pudding I've had in a long time and my companions Fish Pie was, apparently very tasty

The food was cold, and childrens meals were shocking, frazzled chips, and everything was microwaved
