Absolutely disgusting roast is dry vegetables is shriveled up stuffing Rock hard. Worse meal I've ever had. Don't bother you'll be disappointed

Was my first visit on Sunday, wasn’t sure what to expect but the food and service was absolutely phenomenal. Liams service was fantastic, so attentive. Nothing was ever too much for him. Can’t wait to come back.

Very good pub. Bar staff are sick. Gracie is very good behind the bar. Shannon is alright as well!

The Sunday Carvery was rubbish, I haven't got a pair of shoes with tougher soles than the beef I was given, roast potatoes looked like they'd been cut by a child. I haven't a clue why people rave about this place. I joined a group for a Christmas meal last year and that wasn't up to much either. I would avoid the carvery, cannot comment on any of the other offerings on the menu as I haven't had any. Wouldn't return or recommend, I'm afraid.

Sunday carvery terrible. Stingy with meat. Veg all over cooked.potatoes must have been cooked early in the morning. When will any of these carvery places realise the roasts are the most important part of the meal. We ate some of it because it was to late to go anywhere else. No wonder the take your money first. Very poor. Very expensive. Get some experienced staff who can cook

Explained it was for my 60th Birthday celebrations. Got greeted at door ..just shown to seat.. no waiter or waitress service. Asked for one soup.came up stone cold..asked for refund but still bought another one up or reheated the same. Had Carvery.. yorksire pudding was soft and soggy. Only allowed minimal meat because of weight. Didn't check to see if we enjoyed meal or not.only one voice of real ale. When we left Manager had back to us engaging with staff. We said goodbye and thank you..and the response was ..thanks. Overall not a great experience.

There was a staff shortage, nobody around to serve us. When we went to the bar to order I asked for steak with just a salad as I’d seen that you can swop the chips, onion rings, peas and mushroom for a salad. I placed the rest of our order and sat back down. When the food came there was no salad with my steak but the usual chips, onion rings and peas. I said no I wanted my steak with salad and the server went away and brought a small bowl consisting of mainly green leaves, not what I would class as a salad considering I’d still paid full price for the steak meal. He said keep the chips if anyone wants extra so I had to scrape the chips onion rings and peas onto my husbands plate before tipping the side bowl onto my greasy plate. There were no mushrooms with the steak meals as described. Not happy. No service whatsoever and not at all what I’d call an enjoyable experience.

Lovely carvery, would highly recommend and reasonably priced.

A good place to have an evening meal. The tables were spaciously laid out and seating comfortable. The menu was quite varied and well prepared. Definitely worth a visit.

Very poor service. Flat larger. Well over an hour for food when not busy. No atmosphere

Had the xmas meal ,had to wait about 45mins before 1st course cameprawn cocktail(best art of meal),had to wait again about 30mins+,main meal arrived,this was basically inedible,turkey was all bits(if it actually was turkey you couldn't tell,carrots were burnt and shrivelled,sprouts overcooked,it was almost as though whole meal was plated on the weekend and reheated

Booked a table in October for a Christmas dinner. Arrived at allocated 2 hour slot to be told "no reservation has been made". Sat down at a spare table and looked at menu. Tried to order at bar to be told "food has to be pre ordered from Christmas menu as it has to be ordered per person". Wasn't told this at booking. Very rude staff.

I left a review in May 2024. Again food was good and staff friendly. Unfortunately still no handpump ales. I was told pipes were being cleaned. Saturday night and no ales for sale. Come on let's sort this Swale problem

Great pub. Enjoyed the popular Cowboy Burger. It is my first time coming here. Nice food, nice people, nice atmosphere. Easy parking. Will come back for more.

This was my first visit to Five Bridges. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. My meal was delicious and at a fair price. I had a great evening and will definitely return.

I had heard mixed things about the five bridges ranging from okay to awful but on the island there isn't much to eat. I have to say that these reviews were completely wrong, what we had was nothing short of a wonderful evening. Prices are slightly higher than some other places around but you get what you pay for. You have to order at the bar which keeps things simple, there is an app available but we didn't try it. Food came out quickly and staff were happy and cheerful.

Just had a lovely Sunday lunch with my dad. I must say that the food was very nice. The staff were very friendly and the service was good. Glad to be returning in the near future

A little birthday family celebration, couldn't have gone better. Welcomed by friendly staff member. Staff had set up the table with birthday decorations that I had brought in earlier. One member of our group has special dietary needs and quite honestly the staff were so helpful and obliging with this, nothing was too much trouble. Served fairly quickly we had a lovely meal; good sized portions, no worries re the dietary requirements, comfortable with the children as we were adjacent to the 'under 7's' playroom. The children's menus have activities on the reverse side, crayons were provided. The wind & rain might have been battering the Isle of Sheppey but we were warm, cosy & well fed at The Five Bridges. Looking forward to a carvery after a remembrance parade. Very disappointed with the food, especially the meat it was so tough I had to spit it out! My son could not eat his gammon and some of the veg was so al-dente it was difficult to cut! The service was OK but we won't be going there again.

We've given this restaurant many chances but unfortunately tonight's experience made sure we won't give it any more. We visited at 8.35pm hoping for a dessert and coffee but the second we walked in we were hit by a barrage of what they didn't have before even greeting us or asking us what we would like. The barman's first words upon our opening the door were, 'We've got no beer and we're closing soon', not even a hello, can I help? We didn't want any beer! This was closely followed by his colleague who called over, 'And no food either'. All of this before we had even uttered a word. Never again!

The food was very nice!! Cleanliness of our table was awful! The table was sticky and so was the one next to us. Staff were very friendly!

Hadnt been out for over 5 years for a meal as got severe anxiety but we went to our favourite place because it was my hubby birthday and I knew I would be ok there. And I was. Food was amazing as always.. the staff brilliant can't ask for better.one other reason we went back is a member of staff had gone back to work there and she is brilliant..

Always fancied popping in here. Staff were very polite and willing to chat. Food was very nice indeed and the beer was good. Our preferred local pub closed the kitchen because 'they were not busy' and another close by wasn't even open for some reason so we drove to the Five Bridges instead. So glad we did because we will see you again real soon. Thank you.

We booked a roast dinner for 6 and were told when we arrived that the carvery and kids menu were the only items on the menu due to limited staff. We had the choice to cancel the booking at this stage but decided to continue with the carvery, and we are glad we did. Despite being understaffed, the staff worked tirelessly to manage a very busy restaurant and bar. The roast was one of the best we have had in a very long time, and we have tried many places in recent years. This may become our go-to place for a Sunday dinner.

Really good food this evening. Really enjoyed the evening meal with friends.

Its certainly improved massively, used to get a bad rep but given the chance the managers and team there have really turned it around. Liam i think was running front of house, smashing it with Shannon. And the chefs names i got was Ajay amd Shalay who cooked my Cowboy burger perfectly.

Pub has great food, good portions & really friendly and helpful staff. Are daily offers and Steak discounts Thursday . Pub is reasonably new behind Morrisons and B & M and weekdays seems spacious .

An excellent meal. Four of us came to eat- hot food served on hot plates, well presented and good portions The staff were friendly and the place was clean, warm and well presented. Will definitely come again.

First time we have been to the 5 bridges and we wasn’t disappointed. Very friendly staff greeted us and made us feel welcome.The menu was good and food lovely. My mother is in a wheelchair and loved it , plenty of room and clean facilities. 10 out 10 .

Over an hour's wait for bang average, luke warm, food. Not expecting the world but it is wasnt even that busy.

I have never had a bad experience of dining at 5 Bridges. It is what it is and you get what is paid for. The food has always been good and the staff super friendly.

Excellent service, Billy and the other staff went above and beyond. Our dog was treated as a customer. Great place for families and dogs. Food and the beers was fantastic.

Why doesn’t this place open for breakfast? Busy at lunch times and like a graveyard in the evenings…. Slap bang in the middle of a shopping estate and closed till lunchtime!

Recently visited the five bridges had a wonderful hot dog 🌭 all staff were welcoming especially one of the managers called billie.

Went there for my Grandsons birthday. Food was very nice and waitress was brilliant,very polite and friendly,great service. Would recommend,very enjoyable evening.

Recently visited Five Bridges as we were in Sheerness to see old friends and heard good things about the carvery. We were not disappointed! We arrived quite late into the afternoon and were notified upon arrival by a member of management, who’s name we were told was Billie, that they were out of gammon but that wasn’t an issue as neither of us are a fan of gammon! The member of bar staff, Ajay, was polite, professional and happy to help with questions and we were also greeted by another manager, Liam, at the carvery who was more than happy to chat to us while he carved and we plated. 5/5 food, 5/5 service and 5/5 atmosphere, keep up the good work Five Bridges and we may see you soon!

Last minute pit stop before we started our weekend, decided to pop in for a quick bite and a pint. Greeted by friendly staff behind the bar dealt with our orders quickly and correctly. Would definitely return!

First Time visiting this pub, and we were impressed, quite a large menu, with lots of choice of different dishes. The food was of good quality and cooked correctly. Service was good with friendly helpful staff, the decor is very nicely done with pleasant light levels making the resturant a nice place to dine. A good selection of good wines, and cocktails . We will definitely return. Kash x

It was my mum's birthday, and my mum likes the scampi at the five bridges, and we love the carvery on a Sunday. There is lots of room around the tables, so you don't feel on top of each other

Staff really attentive biggest letdown was the fact that the carvery meat was all so overcooked that it spoilt the experience.

We had an excellent lunch of jacket potato with prawns and rose Marie sauce with a delicious side salad. We had great service and a warm welcome - will definitely go again

Sunday 8th Sept.carvery, our first visit to this.Ajay was friendly and chatted with us, as were the guy in the carvery and the young waitresses.Food was good and reasonable,staff excellent.I would recommend this carvery to friends and family.

Stopped in for a quick drink, after hearing about the place I thought I would give it a go, really nice place, great selection of drinks thank you to Liam for being helpful will definitely recommend this place!

Tired, dirty and worn out. In need of full refurbishment. Staff need training on customer service.

Recently the food quality has dropped, not sure why. Gammon is not the same, chips are definitely not the same. Not bad overall but not as good as it used to be

45 mins waiting for a few sweets for the children, plates from main meal just left on table. The restaurant wasn’t even that busy

Now it's a standard Marston menu it's rubbish. No good pescetarian or vegetarian options. They still do the yummy cauliflower tart but it's a shame it's only a carvery item. I love that thing. Hate Marstons menu. Both Jenny wren and 5 bridges have been ruined. Both so expensive compared to before too.

The Five Bridges looked inviting when we entered . We ordered sandwiches which was served with chips. The sandwich I ordered was chicken, bacon with a bit of salad served in white bloomer bread . It took 45 minutes to appear after two friends asked twice how long they would be . The manager said they were busy but there was not many people there ! Eventually the food turned up , it was not worth the wait . The bread was a cheap supermarket white, not bloomer . The sandwich looked and tasted disgusting to which I didn't eat but the chips were ok . My friend asked for a refund for hers, to which she got . He told her that it was cheap bread as they had run out of the bloomer .We decided to eat what was edible as we were hungry . I would never recommend this place to eat at and will certainly not be returning.

Very bad service! Waited 45 minutes for sandwiches. Supposed to be on bloomer bread but it is as value brown bread . Not busy, manager very unhelpful so I requested a refund . He then apologised and said they had run out of lots of stuff. He should have told us that when we ordered! Will not be returning 😡

Very poor Experiance today. Only two choice of meat on carvery, no condiments except apple sauce. Waited nearly 30 minutes for ice cream dessert and when it came was half melted. Ladies toilet were in a disgusting state. Wet floors and toilet paper over the floor. Staff did not seem very engaging.

Booked on online for a carvery for 7 people. Turned up on my time slot to be told the carvery had finished as they have run out, no mixed grill, Pepsi was empty as well as numerous other items. I understand this happens but an email or phone call would have been appreciated before we arrived. Left and spent my money elsewhere.

The only letdown was that there was no coke/pepsi (just diet). Disappointed birthday boy. Carvery was yummy and served by Holly, who was very polite and helpful. Daughter loved the gluten/diary options, nearly diagnosed, so all very new to this. Definitely be back!!

Came to the restaurant with my 16 month old daughter and family.. my daughter was playing in the children’s bit to which the floor was wet and she fell and banged her face and put her tooth through her lip. Not one member of staff came to see if she was ok, even when I reported it they still didn’t ask if she was ok they just closed the play area. The food took ages to come and when it did come it was overcooked and practically burnt! Will not be returning or recommending to anyone!!!! Copy

We was welcomed by lovely happy staff. I had the The Ultimate Spicy Beef Burger and my fella had the Sirloin Steak. The food was amazing and a reasonable price.
