Only eaten here at yummy's once in last 4 years as the food became disappointing. However I'm glad to report things have improved and the whole family enjoyed our meal tonight. Each dish was acceptable though the chow mein could do with a hint of green (spring onion perhaps). The chops in honey actually tasted of honey, neither too sweet nor odd. The prawn toast was hot and crispy. The whole meal wasn't overwhelmed with msg nor that metallic flavour you get with beef Cantonese style! And the chicken and cashew nuts was damm near good. Thank god the old yummys is back.
Ordered from Asda it said 50% off selected items. I selected those items and added those to my basket but I was charged double very disappointed very upset about this.
Don’t know who they are hiring but missing half a small order along with the fries is just plain idiotic.
I’ve worked in the industry and to make a mistake as big as this is just plan stupid.
The food was awful, disgusting and shouldn’t of been served. Nothing nice about it.. service was shocking aswell, didn’t have any sauce. Way over priced. Do NOT recommend
Such a terrible shame. Its called the vintage tea room but the minute you step in it's obvious that this is far from a vintage tea room and more like a workman's caff. Bottles of brown sauce and ketchup stacked in a metal holder on the table definitely isn't something you would find in a vintage cafe. We were going to buy a children's lunch but no-where was it mentioned if sandwiches were included and if so what the choice was. There may even have been an ice lolly included (as there often is at various outlets with children's lunch boxes) but no body would have had a clue. How about a list posted next to the boxes showing what you get????? We wanted to sit in the outside searing area but what a depressing place! Two old picnic benches on a rough peice if concrete. The toilets needed a good tidy. There was a bottle of toilet cleaner next to the toilet, not good to have chemicals not locked away from young children that may be using the loo!! This could be a real asset to the station but to be honest it shouldn't be using the description 'vintage cafe'. It could be a little gem if only they sharpened up their act.
Nice location and they serve the usual Starbucks items. However the clientele is not the usual Starbucks clientele.
The place seems to have a large population of ladies have nothing to do all day who plunk themselves down with their small children and spend the entire afternoon.
Unfortunately, this takes away from the usually good Starbucks atmosphere. For that reason I generally don't patronise the place.
Not sure what Starbucks can do about this, it's not as if you can choose your clientele.
Not sure why this kebab shop has such low ratings 🫠it's by far the best in folkestone, for taste, portion and delivery. I've not had one bad meal from here, zero mistakes and been using since April. I stopped using my usual kebab shop as always forgetting something, and the prices went up yet quality of food and portion sizes went down. And I'm glad I did 😌
Despite both the website and the Facebook page stating that this bar had now re-opened and was open daily from 9am to 4pm, when we got there at 11.30am today, we walked in the main door, saw yet another sign confirming this information, but the bar was locked and in darkness. Will not bother going back until we know for sure that it actually is open!
Had a lot better for a lot less , not fresh , sandy , crab was -------- cook could have tried to make it look worthy of the money , I could still see the print of the cling film in the crab ,
