Sunshine Grill & Burger Bar in Shepway

I've been ordering Kebabs and Chicken Dishes from the Sunshine Grill for around 9 months now and I have to say that the food is consistently good and I've neer been disappointed ... staff are friendly, prices competitive and food always arrives on time and hot ... give them a try!

My go to takeaway in Folkestone, best pizzas Iv had in a long time and very good price with the Buy one get one free, I use these a lot when having takeaways defo worth a try

Very good and big roll, the recepcionist is very friendly and the meat and bread were so delicius. I recomend it if younare hungry

God a chicken kebab & chips. Lots of oil sitting at the bottom of the chips, not good. Doubt we will go back although my partner enjoyed he's.

Had an empire burger, chicken hashbrown and cheese was more like a bugalow burger that had been drove over by tank, pathetic for 6 pound a piece

Decided to try the new Folkestone sunshine cafe as regular visitors to the Hythe one, but we were extremely disappointed. A different menu, which was not a problem but far higher prices, same buzzer system which works well in Hythe but not so good here, but main issues was the food itself, raw sausage which we told the waitress about discretely and asked for just another sausage which caused the chef to lose it but they did replace it but with another sausage which was worse than the first. We told the waitress who cleared the table and again when we paid the bill, all we wanted was an apology from management but unfortunately never received one. We will not be returning which is a shame as Folkestone is crying out for a nice clean place for a reasonable quick lunch.

I’d just come from the bus station, it began to rain, and I wanted coffee and a sit down. The latte was good, and the young lady who served me was extremely helpful, and friendly. The loo was very clean and a great size, too!

Poor service. Coffee was warm although asked for extra hot.waited ages.for the order and then to get bill.

Food was nice and delivery was quick and as requested sauce was in pots so notes were read, could have done with a bit more salad tho

had the most disgusting‘lamb’ shish ever.. when i first tasted it.. it was like where is the lamb taste??? just a rammy off sort of taste... had a few more pieces and there was a hint of lamb in it, so concluded that it must of been off. never ever would i go there again even if it was free, avoid at all costs

No salad with kebab despite paying extra to have special salad. Rude delivery driver because he couldn't find address and not psychically standing at the end of the drive waiting for him. Despite no other driver with a brain finding this address with no issues. Greasy. Awful. Go elsewhere. No worth the cheap kebab. Their excuse was they were busy (an obvious lie) no excuse. Good luck running a business into the ground very soon. What an embarrassment of a "business" to run.

Worst kebab ever !!! I have not ordered only ones a few times but everything I order absolutely not good at all.

Great service. I ordered the wrong burger and they were lovely enough to bring me the right one free of charge. A great reason to make me want to come back. Big thank you.

We called in advance to ask if the food served was halal and they informed everything they sell is halal. We arrived in the establishment and found the TV was playing some pretty vulgar/inappropriate music videos which the staff seemed unable to take there eyes off, trying to get there attention or focus was difficult. They were to the point and took our order but as far as customer service goes there was a lack of it. We ordered 2 x pizzas and chips. The donner meat pizza was nice but then we moved onto the Pepperoni pizza, having not always been a Muslim I know the taste of Pork and the Pepperonis texture and flavour didnt taste like the usual beef/chicken substitute it tasted like Pork Pepperoni unfortunately when we established this the following day the outlet was shut so we couldn't ask. I would advise any Muslim who wants Halal food to ask to see their certificate/evidence in future before placing an order with them. Apologies to Sunshine if i'm mistaken ( I hope I am mistaken and you are all Halal as you stated, but I dont think this is the case). As for the customer service, a smile and proper greeting can go a long way.

Called in for two kebabs,one with chicken and donor.Shop was not busy just the two of us as customers,no one else so they was hardly working under pressure.I distinctly asked for a donor with chicken/combination.By the time i had chance to eat it as i was some distance away there was plenty of salad then donor and NO chicken.Did they not understand me?Too far away and too hungry to take it back so i had to eat it.Very average kebab and quite abit of the meat had bone in it.Very offputting.Since found out there is a far better one in Folkestone so i,ll be going there next time i,m in the area.This shop appears to have just a few reviews and none very good.Do they not care to improve their business?

Absolutely abysmal service, the smallest portion, you don’t even get a piece of pitta with your kebab. Chips are server under the meat and you may as well not have any cause there’s about 5 anyway. Not pleased at all will never be visiting again. Folkestone Kebab House is the best ever, don’t even bother giving this a try

was not a nice meal,made me feel sick and tasted disgusting,the milkshake tasted off and manky,had no tomato sauce on pizza base like i asked and there was barely any sweetcorn,chips werent cooked and i wouldnt go back

This Turkish Kebab Shop is highly recommended and is always extremely busy. The food is good and is reasonably priced. The staff are friendly and helpful.

The chips where cold and old the chicken kebab had no flavour the box of donor meat was disappointing my cat wouldn't even eat it the whole meal was cold and disgusting and to top it off there was also a hair in my dinner won't ever be ordering from there again
