The best restaurants in Runnymede South East

Having visited this cafe for years it’s suddenly taken a turn for the worst and I’m not talking about the queue to order the food. Two weeks in a row I have chosen a Sunday roast to be disappointed twice. No fresh cut vegetables any more, the smallest teeny weenie boil in the bag or frozen veg, honestly carrots the size of a tiny caterpillar and soggy brussels the size of maltesers and that’s generous, plus one parsnip. I definitely won’t be wasting my money on a roast again. No wonder so many staff are leaving. It’s a shame when this cafe was always wonderful and had a fabulous atmosphere. Now all I can hear is upset customers on other tables saying they won’t be coming back.

Well, I have used the garden centre for years and ti day thought we would pop in for coffee and lunch. The place was fairly busy but we got seated very quickly. The trouble was we never got served the two couples behind us got served but we were just left at the table for over 20 minutes without even being asked if we wanted a drink. Absolutely shoddy staff with no experience me thinks. Don't think I will bother in future if this is how it's gonna be. Sort it out will ya.

I found the food descent and competitively priced. Would recommend. Shame there on holiday until 28/02 was about to come back for more haha. Enjoy your break :)

The delivery time was quoted as much shorter when I ordered. It significantly increased shortly after ordering. That was disappointing as I had selected based on getting food quite quickly.

Great view of canal and boats, un the middle of a commercial area but plenty of customers and lots eating the food is simple if you want it like Baked spud with Chili or beef filling was really good. There are also more complex dishes on menu depending on what you fancy. Parking outside and the staff were really friendly. They have a great legacy for live music every Saturday from 9pm onwards. Great big name bands, I saw SMOKEHOUSE on the band board for a gig 5th April, they are a top class band. I would reccomend this pub for almost any age group and sensibilities as a really good experience.

The waitress made a lunch very special. Went the extra mile, polite helpful and cheerful. Food and service top class. Lovely atmosphere. Free parking.

I was in this pub in the summer of 2024 and ordered chicken wings. And when they were brought, I felt that they had a “snmelly smell”! They were not cooked from fresh chicken meat! I was disappointed! I won’t come to Victoria pub again!

Yaiza is the best, good service!

Don’t usually review places but went to knock in a few balls on the pool table while my girlfriend was doing some shopping across the road and got told I have to buy a drink to play pool even though you have to pay to play. So what happens if I don’t drink? What happens if I’m not thirsty? Stupid

We live in a village nearby, and drove past SINO many times, and only realised the place last week, so we decided to go tonight for an early dinner. Don't follow the opening times on their Website and on the Internet, where it says that they are open from 12 noon to evening, but when we arrived just after 4 pm they were closed. When we telephoned the Restaurant we were told that we could come in at 4.30 pm, so we decided to wait in the car for a short while. After that, all went rather well. The service was very friendly and welcoming. The crispy duck which we had for starters was delicious and the main courses were equally good. I am glad that we discovered this place, the ambience is quite nice too, and it would be good for entertaining guests. We will be back soon!

The food was quite good but the service was poor. We waited too long for our order to arrive. Without being particularly crowded.
