SINO Chinese Fine Dining in Runnymede

We've been to this restaurant a few times, and the food is always great, and the staff is friendly. This time, we particularly enjoyed the Aromatic Crispy Duck, which was especially delicious. We'll come back soon.

Came here for Valentine’s Day and had an excellent meal with my girlfriend. Atmosphere was really nice, and they gave out roses on arrival. Food was fantastic, we had a few different starters to share, the soft shell crab was easily the best but the ribs were a close second and the dumplings were also really good. For mains I had the Szechuan chicken which was the best I’d had in ages, proper mouth numbing and fantastic flavour. My girlfriend has the chilli beef which she really enjoyed, and then we shared some rice and noodles. Only thing that let it down was the drinks choice, could have done with some more cocktail and beer options. Overall though a really nice meal, not the cheapest but definitely worth it!

The food here is fabulous and we had the best Chinese meal ever. The sweet and sour in a half of pineappple is delicious. The service was excellent. The reason it doesn’t get 5 stars and why we will probably never go again is the fact that the toilets are up narrow winding stairs and very hazardous for anyone with mobility issues. If this problem gets sorted we’ll be back.

Very expensive for what we had. Food extremely salty and over spiced. 4 persons only drank water and 6 dishes £168. Asked for coffee after meal and was told they didn't have any coffee! Disappointing.

A lovely restaurant, in fact one the best we have ever been to. We lived in Japan (Yokohama has a large Chinatown) & Taiwan and went to other countries such as Singapore on business and as such we have a good knowledge of Chinese food. We found the host very welcoming and loved the food especially the sweet and sour pork served in a pineapple shell and the spring rolls too! Well worth a visit and we will make a detour to revisit the next time we are in London. Thank you for a memorable evening as we were truly fatigued after our trip to Royal Ascot and our visit to Sino recharged us both!

We got a take out from here. Portion size on our salt and pepper asparagus was dismal. The rest of the food was greasy and had a very strange taste Would not return under any circumstances and seriously overpriced

This should be the Number 1 restaurant in Virginia Water, for no other reason other than the fact that it is. I have lived here for 20 years and it is by far the best Asian food we have ever had in the area. I hope they thrive and stay in the area for a long time. You have to try the lamb! And the dum sum but all is delicious.

The area has been in need of a decent Chinese restaurant for a long long time. This isn’t your average Chinese takeaway, you can choose to pre order delicious specials such as the Peking duck (which we did), gorgeously tender meat and crispy glass like skin! Best duck and pancakes we have tried. Fresh dim sum was a lovely addition to the menu and again something that your local Chinese doesn’t tend to offer! Lovely decor in the restaurant as well and great for a family meal. Our only comment was that the staff were unsure when questioned about some of the dishes and were not very confident in helping with the menu however I don’t believe they have been open very long so this could be remedied with further training.

What is amazing is that this is Chinese food not over-salted, but leaving a healthy clean taste on your palate. The plump aubergine strips lightly deep-fried made a delightful appetizer, with lots of garlic and a hint of chilli. I particularly like savouring the separate ingredients wrapped in the Chives Dumplings and the Spinach Dumplings with the delicate Flying Fish Roe. The green veg, Morning Glory, was stir-fried to perfection. We were lucky that the Leopard Coral Trout was the day's Daily Special! A whole fish just right for two serious fish-eaters, and steamed just right with ginger and spring onion strips. Their egg-tarts were a lovely change from even the best from the supermarkets. I must mention their really fresh from this year's harvest of Dragon Well (longjing) tea! Happily satisfied. I must initiate my children and grand-children to this GOOD Chinese food!

If you want fine dining in Chinese, Sino is the place. Absolutely delicious food. Proper Chinese. Excellent service. 👍

What a treat! And not only because our fried paid for it. The Dim Sun was delicious and freshly made. My wife loved the crab soup and both she and the friend found the Peking duck first class. I would go back daily if I could afford it just to have the chilli beef. And for desert - who knew sago could be so delicious? As a young boy at school the sago was never like this. We'll be back.

Great Authentic Chinese food, we had dim sum platter, custard boa, siuchuan spicy chicken and hula Mei pork, all taste good! Services are great too.

With the rail strikes during the weekend, we were taken aback and had to search for local dining options. When we spotted a nearly full restaurant, the presumption was that the food must be excellent, prompting us to give it a try. Luckily, there was one table available, though not the best one, but we felt fortunate to avoid a long wait. The friendly staff helped us make up our minds, and we proceeded to place our orders. Despite the bustling atmosphere, our starters arrived promptly along with our drinks. Taking our time to chat and fully enjoy the experience, we relished the elegant decor of the restaurant. When the main dishes were served, our attention shifted to the beautifully presented plates, and we thoroughly enjoyed the delicious food, a rare find in most busy restaurants in London. The evening turned out to be a delightful surprise, and we left with the certainty of returning again in the future.

Tasty food, lovely place We visited SINO for their 3 course lunch menu. Between us we tried Satay chicken, sweet and sour chicken, sweet and sour pork, crispy beef, egg fried rice, mixed vegetables, ice cream and sorbet. The food itself was lovely, very tasty!! Thank you, a minor point would be some garnish on the starter that you would normally expect to make it look a little prettier! We booked ahead and requested a highchair and it is the cleanest highchair we have ever used whilst in a restaurant. The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. If you’re in the area and looking for high end Chinese food for lunch or dinner check this place out!

Expensive! Food was delicious the wait staff are young but very attentive. We ordered one serve or crispy beef but sever two and when questioned we were told the ticket Said two so that was it…… would definitely go back again and recommend few teething issues but extremely lovely restaurants and lovely staff.

Gosh. If I could give this place zero stars I would. Shoved us into a tiny table in the corner despite booking. Had to ask for a bottle of water three times. Food was the worst Chinese I’ve ever had. £23 for 8 undercooked prawns. The Szechuan chicken had the strangest aftertaste ever. Singapore Noodles were okay and so was the broccoli. Service haphazard and totally confused. Maybe they are still finding their feet - but I guess we’ll never know since we are never coming back. Save your good money for fine dining. This isn’t fine nor dining.

Had lunch with a friend at Sino on Sunday. We ordered a variety of the dim sum, all of which is freshly made and delicious! Highly recommend

First restaurant for the new owners and they really want to make it work. This shows in the service and surroundings. Lovely decor and furniture. Food was delicious and all served piping hot. Ambience was nice when we first arrived but got noisier as more people started dining. More expensive than your regular Chinese restaurant but worth the extra cost.

Delicious food, especially the crispy duck. Portion sizes were generous. Staff very friendly and efficient. I will definitely be returning.

I had an incredible experience at Sino. The food was fantastic and the service was quick and professional. Overall, i thoroughly enjoyed it.
