Favourite Chinese I’ve ever had, so much flavour! Also, I called to place an order and the lady on the phone was very helpful and the delivery guy was super friendly too. Would recommend! Thanks a lot guys :)

Just stopped off here for my first time and the food was absolutely delicious!!!! I got chicken chow mein and lemon chicken! The portion of lemon chicken was huge! I got 3 chopped up breasts in one portion and it was amazing! Prices are what you expect at a Chinese and the women on the counter was very lovely, I will definitely be coming back!

I regularly pop in here to buy lunch whenever I'm working in the office. The food is very tasty, they have great offer for lunchtime specials, and the staff are very friendly. Also, if you ask them nicely they will add extra chilies to your dish to spice it up a bit for you. Would definitely recommend.

Always very friendly, yummy chow mein, best chicken and prawn balls around. I think the price is decent, compared to other similar businesses in the area.

Ordered a take away via deliveroo. They don't use deliveroo riders , t5hey use their own. So this is not a review about deliveroo. Small order at 7:45. Just a chicken curry, pan cake rolls and some chips. Not high dining by any stretch of the imagination and my expectations were not set to high I think.I was just hungry. They phoned me at 8:45 to say driver was just leaving. Thirty five minutes later my meal arrived. From order to delivery 90minutes with delivery being 35 minutes from a outlet less than a mile away. The driver said he had 5 other deliveries to do before me. Of course my meal was only just warm on arrival. That's the delivery reviewed. Next the food. Well warm and not very nice, warm chips are not a turn on for me. Microwaved chips are even worse. The curry was ok but it did have a slight burnt taste. Cold pancake rolls are not worth talking about. So over all it's a 3 out of 10 for a take away.

I had a takeaway from this restaurant when I was in Chertsey for a family event. I ran across it by chance as I was looking for a place to eat. It was a very normal restaurant which specialises in takeaway. The staff were friendly and my order did not take too long. The food was good, but I can't say it was memorable but it was what I wanted and it served its purpose. It was the best option compared to what was available. Would recommend if in the area.

Walked in and felt like they didn’t want to serve me and when I eventually got my meal the curry was watery and noodles bland…. Expensive aswell 5/10

Popped in to grab a quick lunch. Nice to find a Chinese that is both open at lunchtimes and takes card payments. They do a lunch deal - main dish with rice, drink and prawn crackers for £10. Food was okay, better than expected after reading some of these reviews whilst I was waiting for my food! Egg fried rice was nicely cooked. Nothing stand out though, fairly average.

Best veggie spring rolls!! Tried many other spring rolls from many other takeouts and this is by far my favourite!! Crispy spring roll is a must try for beansprout lovers like me xx

Rip off online. If you order online they jack the prices up by 30% and claim it’s because of fees from Gloria foods for using their service which is BS as the company don’t charge commission and it’s free to use. China chef inflate prices online for themselves and lie about why prices are higher online. Food is average at best. Avoid

just not good don't waste your money here very bland and don't taste good the batter on the chicken balls was overcooked and had been cooked in old oil

Had to downgrade from 5 stars to 2 starts as this place really went downhill. Price went up and portions got considerably smaller. Found piece of plastic in food. I was a regular but wont be coming back.

I've just had food from here but I've also used this China chef for years. The food Is great, so tasty. Never been disappointed. My go to for Chinese food.

Had the worst meal waited 2 hrs after being told hour & a half - food was poor satay chicken tasted like curry sauce and ribs tasted like honey when they should be bbq After many attempts with them not a chance we would spend our money on this takeout restaurant again .

one of the worst food i have had in ages. Ordered the chicken with vegetables and it was so bland it was unbelievable. It was like all they did was steam the chicken and bit of bamboo shoots and carrots and tossed together. I would've thought it would atleast contain some soy and oyster sauce in it but no. Chicken and veg were white as anything. Absolutely terrible. Would not recommend at all

Really lovely take away meal from China Chef tonight, best we’ve had in a long time. Ribs, duck and crispy spring roll was delicious.

Love the food and the lovely lady at the counter, always smiling and chatty.

Worst Chinese I have ever had!!! Rice under cooked Ribs had no flavour and chewy Noodles mushy Chicken balls were oily Avoid!!!!!!

We’ve had takeaways from China Chef for over 2 years now. During the summer months when we are at Penton Hook Marina we have regular takeaways delivered. Even our friends at the marina who we recommended China Chef to, use them regularly. The food is always good. It’s nice and hot on delivery, well packaged up and extremely tasty. Staff on the phone and delivery drivers are always friendly and courteous. Definitely recommend.

After the closing of fabulous restaurant "Dragon Pearl", I decided to try "China Chef". Kung Pao chicken was very sweet and red in color as if food coloring was added to it. Noddles were awful as well. The food ended up in the bin - would never go there again.

Absolutly disgusting ..beef is not real meat prossed rubish ..should 'nt be aloud to sell Or even advertise that its beef ..im reporting them.

Ordered here today and the food was terrible on asking for a refund i was met with a hostile response consisting of being shouted at and told I was wrong in asking for my money back disgusting customer service will never ofder from here again.

Hopefully I just chose the wrong night to try this Chinese as it was awful and went in the bin. Other people have told me it is usually very good but I can only go by my own experience and I would never order from there again.

I got the Special Lunch menu for £6.30 and was very impressed. Food arrived quickly and was very nice in a good portion. Nice customer service, good experience.

The little boy called Yuan is very nice and sweet, however if you get on his bad side, he could be seen as rather sour

We ordered egg fried rice - unfortunately you can't see any egg in it, it's just a fried rice! Ordered "Cha sui" roast pork - it is more slice onion and spring onions than the pork! Sorry will never buy again so disappointed. There is a lot of Chinese takeaway we've tried and this is the worst ever! I'm NOT recommending this Chinese takeaway.

Nice lady took the order and it was delivered within the specified time but upon taking the plastic boxes out of the carrier bag we noticed that the plastic lids had four holes poked through them which was a bit odd and when we saw the food much of it looked completely bone dry and shrivelled and it looked as if it had been reheated in a microwave. Anyway, it was beyond disgusting and was completely inedible. It was so bad that even the cat wouldn't eat it and he will eat absolutely anything! £40 worth of food went straight in the food recycling bin and we all ended up with a bowl of cereals. Trying to find a new takeaway since the closure of Dragon Pearl in Chertsey but I would definitely never ever use this Chinese again.
