Me and my friends came here and was served by maia, she was very lovely and helpful.

I just enjoyed a great value meal and a pint of Guinness at the Twynersh. I was served promptly by really nice staff and my food was delicious!

Lovely pub very spacious beautiful garden with loads of benches. Can order the food on the app and the food was decent. Good selection of beers and our barman Rob was wonderful very chatty and quick would recommend and will be coming back

My experience here was made so much better with the efforts of Bailey behind the bar who was working extremely hard and keeping up with all the orders at such a busy time

Went here on a Wednesday Night while staying at a local hotel. Fantastic service and food throughout my time here! Beer and wine was reasonably priced (wine was fantastically priced on a Wednesday at £7 a bottle!) Food was great, had the Wednesday Deal of a Curry and a Premium drink (Madri) for £10, Beer was excellent and the curry was very tasty. Although not a sports pub for entertainment, it is excellent for Families and Groups wanting food and drink. Massive shout out to Joe and Josh who served me most of the night, excellent service throughout! 😁

Long wait but did inform the waiting time first

Appeared pleasant on the approach. Not many people at all, we wanted a quick bite to eat so ordered on the app at 6.35. 2 mac and cheese and a burger. 1 hour. A whole hour it took to come to our table. No apology, literally placed om table and waitress walked off. Food itself mediocre.we ate out last week at a Greene King and it was gorgeous food. This place is not. £40 inc 3 soft drinksShould have grabbed a Maccles om the way back home....

My girlfriend recently moved into the area so we went there for lunch and a drink. Our order came up to £38 and when I tried to place the order the app crashed and showed that it didn't go through. I placed the order again and it gave me a receipt. When I checked my bank 15 minutes later the payment came out twice! I immediately told the manager so they wouldn't waste the other order and I could get a refund. I was told that it would take up to 7 business days to return to my account. After 6 business days I went there and asked and I was told the latest would be tomorrow (the full 7 business days). It's now been 9 days. They won't answer their phone after repeatedly calling and I have to travel up there to speak to them. I'm in between jobs and although £38 is not the end of the world I don't want to throw away money when I'm not working. This needs to be resolved ASAP.

Lovely establishment, I've gone here my whole life and it only keeps getting better with the new management. Staff are lovely and if you're patient with them while they're busy I can assure you they will get your order done as quickly as they can. I definitely recommend this place, it's a lovely social spot with places for kids to play

A close friend of ours took us here at 11am to catch up. It was a quiet Saturday morning when we came. Food came in just right. But couldnt expect more from a pub food. Chips was okay. The rest are so dry and obviously came from frozen. We reached lunch peak hours and it was a nightmare of people shouting here and there, kids running around… the parking spaces was full of horses and packed with people hanging around the pub….

Slow service. Waited nearly an hour and half for food and it was not peak business.

Absolutely wouldn’t recommend to anyone waited 1hour and a half for food and got told that because we ordered on the app they didn’t realise that we had ordered and then when they started to make our food they didn’t see that we had starters we left the restaurant about 2 and a half hours after we got there still hungry and full refund for our meal. The servers kept coming back saying that they had run out of stuff on there menu and lastly a family member found a hair in their food and also ended up throwing up not long after eating due to the poorly cooked food i definitely think health and safety should give this place a good look over…

Visited for a family birthday. The guy who served us and took care of us, couldn’t have been more welcoming and friendly to all of us. The food was amazing, all of us were very pleased. Great setting, food but superb service from the staff.

Food was terrible, and the service was definitely lacking, although I think they were short staffed. Kids were running wild everywhere, and the cleanliness of the glasses and cutlery was disgusting.

Place was empty on a Saturday night but had to wait over an hour and a half for food. Was told this was due to it being 'busy'. I could see the food order board, there were 7 orders that had been placed in the time we'd been waiting and all were 10-15 minutes apart. Food was then cold when it arrived and when sent back was clearly just nuked in the microwave. Had to wait an additional 20 minutes for the other half of the food ordered and only after going back up to ask for it, to be told the shots that had been ordered and that was taking priority.

Unfortunately my experience was not pleasant. The food order took almost 2 hours, despite the pub being very quiet. And when food did finally come to our table we had to wait around 15 minutes for everyones mains to be delivered. We went up to ask about our food after 50 minutes but were told it would be 10 more minutes, we received the same message every time we went up over the next 50 minutes. I'm afraid I cannot recommend.

Sadly this Restaurant collects one star reviews like a stray dog collects fleas. It's a bit like playing Russian Roullett with your taste buds The trouble is there's five bullets in the chamber of six. Do as I do when approaching this place just keep going. A total embarrassment to the GreeneKing branding..NEXT DAY RESPONSE...Thank you for responding so quickly to my review, But after two visits sometime ago I will NOT be wasting any more money at your establishment. There are better places very local to the Twynersh that serve far more enjoyable fare than you. You have your clientele just look after them.

Stopped here on the way home, unplanned. Greeted by a very pleasant girl called Ruby who along side Amy couldn’t be more helpful. Great choice of food and a nice chilled beer.

Josh the manager in hungry horse was very polite his customer service was outstanding. In the past 12 years we have used this place and always left disappointed well this evening has made me change my opinion. We was treated friendly with no troubles ordering food and all thanks to the manager Josh. So thank you we will return

Lovely pub. Had some great food that filled me up after a long day and our server,( I think her name was Milly?) always had a smile on her face which just shows what a great place this is.

Food was good last year but I have been here 3 times recently and it has been the worst food I've ever eaten out. Mixed grill looks under cooked but is so dry. I ordered a chicken chiabatta sandwich and it came in 3 slices of barely cooked garlic bread. Staff don't ask if you're enjoying your meal which would be nice if they started doing again because it is so bad. Will not be visiting again which is a shame.

Very busy pub, Great for children as there is a playground in the front which is very big space. Great if you are in a big group as you order at the bar. Bar staff were friendly and served you very quickly. You can take the dog, which is a massive plus for dog owners. The pub is very clean and plates glasses collected quickly. They do have a space upstairs if you are having a private party at no additional cost. We were here for a birthday and took the cake behind the bar. When it was time for the cake, my daughter went to the bar, and the cake was ready for 'happy birthday'. They lit the candles. I have to say the food was a bit hit and miss. However, if you have children and it's a birthday treat with lots of kids, etc.,it is the cheapest option if you don't want to spend tons of money. Overall, taking everything into consideration, I would recommend this pub

We had a fantastic experience at the Twynersh despite it being incredibly busy, the manager went above and beyond to ensure we were well looked after. The atmosphere was lively, the staff were attentive, and the service was excellent considering how packed it was. The food and drinks were great value for money. We had a Christmas dinner for 7 on a busy Friday evening and I was amazed at the standard of service. Josh especially made the experience fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble for him and it was hard to believe he found so much time to attend to our needs in such a hectic environment. Thank you Josh for making the evening a success it wouldn’t have been the same without you.

We held our Christmas Party at the Twynersh, hosted by Josh, Maia and Milly who were brilliant. Josh communicated to us throughout the evening on when the courses would be served, ensured everyone in the party was ok and had a smile on his face throughout the evening. Staff arranged large family Christmas dinner in the upstairs room, was perfect for all children and adults, great service from the workers and food was great value (Christmas 3 course menus), would defo arrange another family gathering here 👍🏻

As usual the staff were very friendly, accommodating and helpful. The food was very well presented and came in a timely manor once ordered. We discovered this pub after a Thorp park visit and decided (as a family) that the value for money it represented, would qualify it for further patronage even though we do not live anywhere near there. (coming from Pinner). The staff, particularly management have always proven to be extremely friendly and very professional.

worst pub i’ve ever been in. Bar staff took ages to serve and it wasn’t even busy, struggled to smile, only locals in there, really unfriendly, it was a Saturday night, I would be suprised if it’s still open next year. Food was dreadful

Food was warm at best. Portion sizes where small ordered 2 sizzler combo steak came out on frozen onions and peppers with a kids size chips and 4 onion rings. My Son said his chips were cold People swearing in the bar. Will not be returning and honestly wouldn’t recommend at all 😡 such a shame as we have had pleasant experiences in the past

Family of 7. Noone greeted us in. Noone visible at the bar, or around the pub/restaurant. 1 kids dinner came out wrong. Took a bit of time to rectify it. Then it came wrong size. The rest of the dinner came out when my child had finished his plate. Didn't give us cutlery - had to walk round pub finding it ourselves. Food was otherwise good. No checking in how food was, if we needed more drinks etc. Absolutely no service. Wouldn't visit again.

Great value, just down the road from Thorpe park if you wanna have a slighter cheaper meal deal. Great service. However drinks that are included in meals now are more limited.

Since Elmand took over, this pub has improved emencely. New and old staff are all working well together are just amazing service food tastes just great for the prizes.

Roast dinner is very processed. Roast potatoes and stuffing like rocks and payed for extras but didn't get. Staff very illusive so couldn't complain.
