The Crouch Oak Annapurna kitchen in Runnymede

The rooms are very basic but acceptable. The pub serves reasonably priced food and drinks. It is located in the centre of Addlestone everything is within easy walking distance.

Sat outside on one of the tables out front while we waited for our dominos next door to be ready. One of the staff (black hair, tattoos) spoke to us in a rude manor telling us that we couldn’t sit there without ordering a drink and to leave. Would of been fine if she asked us politely but spoke to us like we were under her feet and we were children

My wife and I came to visit our family who lives in Addlestone. We came with our baby to drink a pint and they kicked us out because of our (sleeping!) baby! Terrible place. Horrible workers and owner! Don't go there! Shame on you!

Nice looking pub and menu, we were looking for dinner and a drink, but no kids allowed after 6pm (our kids are 16 and 13, so not toddlers). We're not local, but how normal is this in 2024?

Looks nothing special but is a lovely no nonsense place with lovely staff and surprisingly well condition pint of ale. Pop in and relax

Went there and was told 10 minutes after sitting down that we needed to order a drink and that we couldn’t just sit in there, the pub wasn’t busy (we were planning to get a drink) Ordered a drink and some food , the food was excellent and the chef who brought it out was kind. The only other issue was we were actually given out of date packets of sauce Other than that, the cleanliness was good and it was a cosy pub.

Be careful! Went here and parked in the car park as we're not local. Bar staff said nothing about parking charges or anything else, and were slapped with a £100 fine for an hour's parking while we were eating. There is a small sign which says "patrons only while registered at the Crouch Oak". But of course you're not looking for signs inside (which apparently there are) about parking, you're just looking for a pint. We felt bar staff should warn of this to every new patron to avoid hassle. *Edit: we were able to get the charges cancelled a few days later thanks to a very helpful manager.*

I didn't stay here but it was the nearest pub to my hotel. They have a pool table and the sports channels so I was able to watch the champions league game on that night. Beer was reasonably priced.

Worst and roughest pub in Surrey. Also got fined £100 for parking in the carpark for 15 mins so don’t make the same mistake as me.

Great food good service from staff behind the bar

I can't tell you what the food is like because it hasn't arrived, and I don't think it ever will do now as the driver has supposedly been at the restaurant ready to pick up my delivery for an hour now and the restaurant has long since closed. This is terrible service. If it ever arrives and the food is fantastic, I still won't be using again. First impressions count for a lot, and this impression has been a woeful one.

On station rd in the main road of the town, found my first Wimpey in 36 years food on a plate tea in a cup and real cutlery oh days gone by the food was excellent bring it back to Glasgow city and towns I would love that I miss Wimpey don't like Mac Donald's or or burger king you get real meat in Wimpey

Nice and quiet, good value, the first shower I have been in that doesn't leak on the floor, hooray! Comfy beds, biscuits, coffee, TV, what more could you want, ideal for an overnight stay in the area. Close to shops and cafe.

Rented a family room one night for 4 people. No breakfast, but a number of cafés within a short walk, so this was not a problem for us. Beds reasonably comfortable, kettle, tea and coffee facilities, private off street parking available. Private entrance and key to come and go as we pleased. Check out at 10 am. Would definitely book again if needed.

Please don't waste your hard earned money on the food. The rice was so over cooked it resembled porridge. I don't often post reviews but I felt so compelled to write one this as the food was so appalling 😔. The photo uploaded is supposed to be prawn 'fried' rice. I would give no stars if Google allowed.

Fabulous pub, didn't get the chance to sample the food this trip, defo next time, looking forward to returning, very welcoming staff and extremely helpful

Definitely need to update website pics etc as looked very outdated but on arrival room was newly decorated. Very clean and area has everything you'll need. Room was very warm even with ceiling fan on all night but honestly can't complain. Very happy with room and price

The Crouch is in the centre of the Main Street. It has a sizable Bar and an adjoining Restaurant. I have not dined there but it does traditional English as well as Orintal dishes. The bar is long and seating area is sizable and has a pool table.Prices were quite reasonable.

Ordered katsu curry meal deal 2 today for lunch and it was super delicious. It’s been very long that we had such good Asian food. We loved the way Raju received us when we went for pickup. Will repeat the order for dinner as well.

Very traditional locals type pub with a pool table. Spacious and unchanged for years. I like it as its very old school. Good selection of beers and snacks. Very hot chilli peanuts recommended

Ordered food from the Annapurna Kitchen via Deliveroo. Although Deliveroo mucked up the delivery (only sent 1/2 the food) the staff at Annapurna pulled out all the stops to correct the mistake. This is the 2nd time we have ordered from Annapurna, their Korean Chicken is so good it is almost addictive and to make up for Deliveroo's mistake they even sent an order of superb chicken wings.

The chef is amazing, he makes all the dishes with care and passion. Try it once and you will want to eat from him over and over again

We have stayed here many times when visiting the theme parks. The rooms are basic but clean. Bathrooms need a bit of a revamp. The pub can be noisy at the weekends but that’s expected Plenty of places to eat locally. If you want cheap and cheerful then it’s a good place to stay. We will continue to use it

Went in for a drink and a game of pool. Very friendly and clean. Good family atmosphere.

Absolutely appalling treatment from who we believe is one of the directors named Jamie. My elderly mother parked at the pub to go to the post office as she had a heavy parcel. On returning to her car a man approached her yelling in an aggressive way "You are not allowed to park hear, this parking is for customers only", my Mother said ok she won't park there but that he didn't have to be so rude. He answered that he can be rude if he likes and carried on shouting became more aggressive. My mother then quickly got into the car as she was frightened and just wanted to leave, this man then opened her door and carried on shouting at her, she pulled her door closed and tried to start the car, he again opened her door and removed the piece of paper he had put on her windscreen and threw it at her face and slammed her door shut. He obviously had been waiting for her to come. No one deserves this treatment. My mother has been a customer at this pub before, just not today. When my Mother's friend called the pub to complain this man refused to apologise. She is still so upset and shaken. You Jamie are a disgrace of a human being and may you experience the same treatment you give to others.

Well first impression wasn't good, hot drinks machine not working, girl new nothing about what was on menu, but we ordered food and it was amazing, the chef bought it out who was so lovely, he also bought out complimentary dish out for us and extra bits, he then cleared our plates and I told him he should have his own restaurant as food and HIS service was amazing!

Popped in here by happy accident. 6 of us fed very happily over a range of food. Highly recommend the Teriyaki, takoyaki and - to be honest - everything else too. Chef came to make sure we were happy, and bar staff were friendly too.

Stopped off at the pub during a long trip with the family expecting regular pub food but was amazed. In addition to the expected burger & and chips, the Crouch Oak's 'Annapurna Kitchen' offered a variety of Japanese cuisine served at a high quality expected of high-street japanese restaurants. We ordered a variety of dishes between us, all tasted amazing and I personally have to comment that their Takoyaki was one of the best I've tasted in years. So here's to the Croach Oak, for introducing a bit of the oriental into our everyday pub kitchens.

Lunch with family. Amazing Japanese cuisine. Gyoza, Chicken Teriyaki, Kara-age and mochi. Spot on. Great authentic flavour and very good service. Kudos to the chef. We also had Burgers and fish and chips. Well worth it too.
