Had a very pleasant weekend break based here to explore the surrounding area

Excellent Christmas meal! Delish turkey main with a great selection of vegetables. Service fantastic! Would recommend.

Fab food great staff nothings too much trouble quick and friendly service with a smile,totally recommend for a nice bit of pub grub.

Wonderful lunch. We had four different main dishes with the Burger, Pork Belly, Macaroni cheese and Haloumi burger all superb. Lovely open fire, excellent service made for a great experience. Highly recommended.

Great service during a super busy period of the year. The staff were super attentive and excellent with myself and my family. The new manager was excellent along with the new bar staff considering the busy time of year. The food was amazing and excelled all expectations.

Such an expensive waste Laad Nah - bland, slimy, about four bits of chicken but hot Mixed starter - chicken wing bland, spring roll thick and bland, prawn toast ok, no sweet sauce supplied Won tons - chicken mince thick, tasteless and grey, pastry soggy Crispy beef - less than half a portion but it was spicy and tasty Chill chicken - tasty but less than half a portion VERY disappointed won't be ordering again

I stopped Monday 17th March. Was hoping for the pub to be honest, but well... Pretty impressed with the fish n chips. Had a middle of skate, chips, curry sauce and a Fanta. All cooked fresh to order. All good. Would recommend if ya either local or in the area. Oh, and good luck getting the pub going lads. Top job 👍

Overall, our stay at the Gallivant was truly unforgettable. The combination of exceptional service, stunning surroundings & delicious food. We cannot recommend it enough & we can't wait to return!!

Lovely coffee and good customer service.

Apologies for the massive delay is this but we visited the pub while in town for a wedding. We were blown away with just how nice the food and particularly the service was. Some of the friendliest staff I’ve ever experienced. We were served by Shannon and Gina and they couldn’t have done more for us even though the place was packed! Thank you all and sorry this is wildly over due.

Great easy going atmosphere to meet friends!

We are staying here for two nights and have been blown away by the service and beautiful rooms. Had a lovely dinner, with the most delicious food and wine. Our waiter Ruyman was incredibly attentive and gave us great recommendations - such wonderful staff and we enjoyed absolutely everything! Highly recommend!

Ordered delivery for evening meal. It took 2 hours 10 minutes to arrive - by which time I was extremely hungry. Very poor delivery service. Won't be using again - which is a shame as have used seversl times before.

Shops says open online yet there's a sign up in the window saying closed Monday to Thursday, open Friday to Sunday!! It's Sunday at 2 in the afternoon
