Excellent quality bread. Highly recommend focaccia and baguettes. Also basic pastries range pain au chocolat, croissant and palmier every day plus one suprise bake. Later there are often tarts which looks amazing. One tiny niggle the drinks are a little expensive especially a pot of tea at £4.20.

Popped in for a snack with a student, so needed a VAT receipt. Asked if they did them, to get a fairly rude response of no, back. Then I said an itemised receipt would be fine. After a mistake they then made at the till, they struggled to get me a receipt. The lady who served us was so rude asking why I should need an itemised receipt for just chips. She said she couldn’t fix the problem as the staff member who works on the till had already gone home, and “what did she want me to do about it?!!” To make things worse, she was the owner! Very rude. Will not be returning.

Plastic plates not acceptable for the prices they charge used to have those at school for dinner they need to pick up the swan and duck mess aswell as not having their tables inclined because my plate kept on sliding down it no brollys out on the tables sap was falling on to my hand from the trees more food on the plate would be nice considering I payed £10 and hot drinks way to small for the price but other than that egg was nice

Stopped for a spot of lunch on a cold November day. The venue is beautiful inside, we chose a seat on the balcony that was great for people watching. The food we ordered was Mediterranean in style and was both tasty and reasonably priced. Would recommend.

This cafe used to be known as ‘The Tollgate Cafe’, however, after the previous owners retired, it was bought out by the people who own & run ‘The Best Dressed Crab, a few hundred yards further down the beach, it is now known as ‘The Harbour View’. Sadly, what was once a cute, well managed & friendly café with very reasonable food, has now become a place with sometimes rude staff & extortionate prices. It’s still a lovely place to sit & watch the harbour from, but £2.00 for a can of Coke, no thank you, go elsewhere, I do now.

Unable to give a review of this restaurant. Even though I booked for 14/12/24 for my 60th birthday via their online reservation service and had confirmation on 5/12/24 from them, they rang on 13/12/24 to say they had only just received the reservation and were fully booked. My daughter rang them to complain and was told they had had 2 big parties of 40 people book for the same time so couldn’t fit us in. They did offer to fit us in at Te Taverners in Godshill but the menu wasn’t suitable for us. I don’t recommend using their online reservation service to make a booking.

I ordered a takeaway. This Restaurant is now called “The Curry Leaf” I ordered a Lamb Balti and my wife a Chicken Tikka Masala. We also ordered Naan bread. The naan was flat and more like a Chapati and a little dry. The Balti was so sower it was not really edible until I added a tub of yoghurt. Worst of all when my wife reheated her dish the next day she fount TWO LONG HAIRS in it. Stay away!

Well stocked deli, located close to the ferry, and full of interesting, and very enjoyable produce. We can definitely recommend the quality wholemeal bread, as well as the pastries and particularly the cheesecake, and the delicious range of Pork pies. We loved the shop, and the staff were helpful - great customer service.

Hotel is pretty clean and tidy. Bedroom was clean and housekeeping came in daily. However, the food is disgusting. I wouldn't feed in to my worse enemy. It's was cold, tasteless and took forever to be served even though we had to order at breakfast. Grey mashed potatoes I didn't know even existed. Breakfast was a fight for cereal and coffee. Cereals were tasteless and stale. Orange juice was ok. I would avoid at any cost.
