Great for watching football. Also still space for pool table and Friday night disco, which didn't spoil our enjoyment.

A nice drinking pub, didn't eat on this occasion.

If you are a tourist don't come here service good coffee machine mingin dog running the place and the best bit the beer garden dirty broken bits wood and cobwebs everywhere but I loved it

Had a night out watching some football with the wife...its a nice little pub..not bad prices either...

Best pub on the island, worked at landguard manor in 1976,it was my local then, and still is, when I can manage to get back. Will be returning in June 2024,cant wait to see Kenny and the locals again. Don't be serving me any more of that cider from the case on the bar tho Kenny.

Only popped in for a pint whilst walking the dog 🐕. Wasn't busy but seemed OK.

Me and my girlfriend were on a weekend break in Shanklin and visited the Falcon pub for a few drinks and liked the place instantly. The people were friendly, the beer was good and reasonably priced and there was sky sports so I could enjoy the sports on offer. If I lived there I'd make it my local.

Beer was OK. Only one bitter on which was OK rather than very good. Reasonable prices. Pleasant staff but came across as a local pub for local people!

Drinkers pub just for locals. Staff not friendly, terrible music. Glad to to get out.

Very accommodating as we didn't book, staff bent over backwards to help, don't know why they don't put a few bands on and make the most of the scooter rally

Its a typical Local, went in their with friends in the afternoon but a bit quiet. It is lively on weekends, Good selection of Lagers and has a pool table and SKY TV

Nice local pub in shanklin reasonable prices .No food on sale just snacks if you get crisp watch out for frankie and his friend they love crisps.

Just a good pub with an enjoyable atmosphere right on the high street here in Shanklin with a nice big garden area. It's nice to pop in for a drink and relax out in the garden for some sun or in the roomy bar area. There's a billards table as well. And the facilities are airy and clean which is always nice. The staff are very welcoming and friendly as well. New local for us! And, we are happy not to compete with food service!

Proper old fashioned locals pub Pool table, darts, sky sports TV, excellent.

On the 9th of November today I went to the falcon as I was on a holiday in my caravan , I went in there for a drink to get away from the mrs and the kids . When I went in everyone stopped and stared at me making me feel uncomfortable but the big strong man I am I just firmed it . I ordered a pint of Stella and there was no bubels or foam . Dead beer . That’s when I copmplained to the person who made it and then continued to get my head smashed by 3 men . I was then taken out the back and left there . That’s when I was found by my mrs that then kicked me whistle I was on the floor and then spat on me . Absolutely bad day ( was raining as well)

If your looking for a quiet comfortable place thus is not the place to go but if you want a no frills place for a drink then go here it's a very friendly place and the staff are excellent have always had a good time here

Arrived on Monday 26th popped in for a beer or two staff very polite so went in every day back on holiday in two weeks so will be back all the best to all of the staff from Glenn London lad

Good selection of ales, gins and wine by ‘small’ bottles. Several locals and an outside seating area. Landlord was chirpy and welcoming. On the main road from train station.

Walked into pub, promptly thrown out, no dogs allowed, even offered to go into beer garden to no avail. Went to Vernon Tavern made very welcome.

A proper old fashioned pub, a good variety of customers, good ale, and dig friendly. Handy for the buses, which stop just round the corner. Definitely recommended.

Definitely a locals pub because when we walked in the pub went quiet and everyone was staring. I can't remember the last time I felt that uncomfortable. Left as soon as we finished our pints.

Had a good night. Stopped in for the football but found out weds are karaoke night. The locals gave it their all. Overall a good night. Drinks were reasonably priced and staff were friendly.

I was refused any more drink because I was drinking all after noon .you can imagine what Oliver Reed would say to that.i don't drink any more prefer to stay at home with my amazon yellow napped green parrot his names Ollie he uses the f word.i live in Attleborough a town 30 miles from great Yarmouth norfolk.i used to go to the I.o.w in early 80s with a friend called Eric stayed at Jone reeds a coronation street actress in Dashes hotel.that miserable old git George Cox lived there with his boyfriend.

Didn’t think landlords could still survive and be that rude and unwelcoming. Unless you have three eyes and one leg your best staying away. Definitely a locals only place.

on my vist to this pub 03/02/2022 was very impressed witht he Bar staff made me feel very welcomed as soon as i arrived excellent beer and very nice customers really recommend this pub if you are nearby please visit

When I go to some pubs for the 1st time, I feel that I'm not welcome and that I should leave straight away. With the Falcon, I had no problems at all. Both my Son and I felt as though we've been regulars for years, which is always a good sign for a friendly welcoming pub. The quality of the beer was good and not too expensive. The next time we're on holiday on the Isle of Wight, we will definitely be going back. Thank you to all at the Falcon.

Nice enough pub, busy at times, although it is only small. The staff seemed friendly enough, large beer garden and toilets from the 90's. Nice if you like having urine from other men being splashed over you while trying to pee 😂

Called in most days while on a weeks holiday for a pre dinner drink after our days out in Shanklin.Proper locals pub which we like, got a few strange looks first time we went in,but further visits were better.Good range of beers pub dogs were so cute.Would visit again.

Dropped into the Falcon last night for a few drinks. Really good atmosphere in there, good range of drinks and reasonable pricing. Good covid precautions in place etc.

Been visiting here for the last 8 years whilst holidaying, always been made to feel welcome. Friendly staff members and locals.

Apparent ly the Foster's was great... Real ale, although not local, was good.

Felt like I'd walked into a homeless hostel. Full of old men alcoholic men swearing and using racial slurs as naturally as breathing. I was asked to write my name and number on a piece of paper for track and trace, my name was the only one on there, despite there being approx 12 people in there. The barman was unfriendly and seemed resentful serving a non local. There was fly in my pint, but no offer of a fresh glass. A fight broke out shortly after with a brummie, this activated the locals fight mode including a skinny scrotal with a broken arm and wonky eyes. All this before 5pm on a Tuesday! I knew at this point it was time to leave.
