Nice place , great service from hard working attentive staff . Food , ok not the best and really not very good value for money . I know everything is getting more expensive but it seriously wasn't a lot of good for the money . A little disappointed to be honest

Food is superb. Lovely tasting Meat in the Burger, and juicy crunchy Chips! The Lounge Breakfast is also really tasty, with a good portion size. The Coke tasted quite watered down, but was still very refreshing. The restaurant is well presented/decorated, with nice music playing. The only bad thing I would say, is upon arrival, you are meant to wait to be seated, myself and my mum were just looked at and ignored. We therefore sat ourselves down, which I have no issue with, but to be looked at and ignored, I think because my mum accidentally knocked the door with her mobility scooter, is rather rude. Otherwise, all was well. Thanks

As a total impulse moment, we stopped here for a light bite lunch. Being a Saturday lunchtime it was busy and deserved to be. Great atmosphere and ordering at the bar meant we got our drinks quickly. We had a few things from the tapas menu and they were all very tasty. Took a while to arrive but as I say it was busy. However, there was complete honesty as we were told there would be a wait when we ordered. A real jewel in an otherwise sad town.

Went with friend, its was quite busy. Staff very friendly and constantly on the move. I had poached eggs on the brunch menu with bacon, very tasty and my friend had chicken burger from the gluten menu. Great place with anyone with allergies and lovely vegan menu. Cannot fault, we did not use the app went to bar and served very quickly by very nice staff 5 🌟

Been here multiple times. Food is good, the service has been great, sometimes a little disjointed (meals came out quite far apart once). The atmosphere is lovely, a huge venue with lots of seating but it doesn't feel like you are on top of everyone. Can cater for small or large tables. We were a table of 18, we preordered our dinners so the service was quick. Clean venue

Fantastic selection of food. Extremely tasty! Excellent allergen friendly menus too. Highly recommended for a nice lunch or casual dinner.

It was quite empty, so there was not much atmosphere. You have to go to the bar to order food and drink so not much service, but ok

Had an amazing carrot cake and mocha coffee. I was served by a very kinda lady named Kelly, the venue is gorgeous , the service is phenomenal and the food is spectacular!!!!

I always take my girlfriend to the correo lounge in Newport, she loves it so much and so do I, the food is out of this world Nd its not too expensive either. It tastes like a slice of heaven and don't even get me started on the deserts, their are so many yummy drinks to choose from and the staff are always so polite. The waitress that was serving us Kelly was one of the sweetest people I have ever met she was so kind and attentive. I would definitely recommend the correo lounge to friends and family, I will see you all again soon !!!

My lovely boyfriend always takes me to the correo lounge in newport, i love it so much, i always get the avocado on toast, it’s so yummy !! the staff are always so kind to us especially kelly - she’s served us multiple times and is so lovley.. she always makes sure we’re taken care of and that we’re having a good time !!

Had a brilliant steak, it was cooked to perfection. It definitely could have been warmer, it was a little cool but very tender and enjoyable. The service is a bit slow so if you want rounds of drinks order early. It was Saturday night but only half full maybe. It wasn't terrible but expect to wait more than 10 mins for an app order.

Lovely place to eat. Portions not huge but very tasty. Ordered using the app so only 4 for service as ut doesn't take much to deliver aeal to a table

This is a lovely place to sit and enjoy a coffee. The decor is really nice. I haven't rated the food yet because I haven't tried it, but what I saw the other diners eating looked really nice. The menu is quite varied with excellent dishes. I would definitely recommend this place. 👌

one of the best places to get food/drinks i have ever been to, by far the best place on the island. servers are so attentive and on it if you have any sort of queries. i have had several things off their menu and me and my partner love it so much we end up coming back almost monthly for a date night!! the vibe is absolutely gorgeous in there, always playing amazing and varied music so that theres something for everyone. highly recommend the buttermilk chicken, my favourite thing on the menu.

Pros Location Friendly enough staff Can order on app from table Service quick enough - we didn't experience the problems others did, although we did wait for a few minutes at the wait to be seated soon only to be told "we don't do that. Sit where you want" Cons Breakfast was very average bordering on poor. Tinned or frozen mushrooms. One slice of toast served with egg on ot so all soggy. Egg served with pepper on it Gents toilet too small for size of venue A number of dishes had a bolt on of "with chorizo" but they didn't have any Just nothing that would make us return or go to another in the chain

Lovely place for casual drinks and dinner. I especially liked how dog friendly they are, my dog was given her own water bowl and a biscuit. We all had a great time and enjoyed the food, also really appreciated the fun soft drink options. Most places its just hot drink or brand name soda but there were some really good cold drinks available.

There were only 3 or 4 things on the menu everything I asked fir was off the menu. A bit disappointed.

Came in for lunch on Wednesday. Busy atmosphere, was hoping that was a good sign. Couldn't order on the app as none of us could get internet in there on our phones. Ordered at the bar. No blue light discount, which I'd been told by various friends that had been there that they offered that. They didn't have the option I wanted to order from the menu. Found the menu fairly expensive. Cost just under 30 quid for a panini, chicken with small portion of chips, milkshake and a hot chocolate. The staff were very abrupt. Saw them arguing with various other customers. No smiles or eye contact. Dumped our food and walked away. I definitely won't be returning here I'm afraid.

The breakfast was definitely one of the best on the island and not a bad price!

Lovely staff mainly one girl called Vanessa is very polite courteous nothing is to much for her great customer service skills. And always happy and when she is serving customers u can tell people like her great service ! x Food quite good most of the time it's always hot when it arrives! Many choices ! atmosphere is really lovely Apart from that is a good place toilets are freezing and smelly! there's no heating you won't want to spend too much time in there a bit off putting! But apart from that lovely atmosphere and good food. ! x

Had lunch here with my wife. Ordered at bar but long wait for food. When it did come they had forgotten my drink. Lady said she would chase but after an hour of being there and of course finishing food it had not come. Then had to Que for a refund. Thought food was nice but won’t be returning. Also will add we saw what we thought was our food on hot plate and decided to keep eye on it, turned out it was. It sat there for 15 -20 mins before being brought to us so was Luke warm and in my wife’s case, cold. Will not return

There was 5 of us that had the same flat breads with different toppings. Was nothing special. All were disappointed sadly. Nice place and like the decoration. Staff were fine.

Very nice place. Seating is spread out, which I love, nothing worse than a cramped restaurant. The food was tasty, and the staff were polite and professional. Would go back.

Always love the food at the lounges

Really enjoyed the food. Great quality one of the best breakfasts I've had in a long time. Ordering can be done from your seat via a Web page which is easy enough, although it doesn't allow you to ask to swap something like a fried egg for scrambled but does allow you to pay for additions. Apparently, though, you can go order from the bar to do this if you wish. Would certainly go again and would recommend to anyone.

Don’t be put off by the other reviews! This is the first review I have done because it was so good! Came here for breakfast with my partner and both of us thought the food was absolutely exceptional. From looking at other reviews, I was quite shocked as the staff were more than friendly and polite. All in all it was one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had and I’m looking forward to visiting again in the future.

Just had a snack lunch at Correo Lounge on a day out on the IoW. Really nice food (I had smashed avocado with a poached egg on sourdough toast), good service and at a reasonable price. Interesting artwork on the walls - it's no Louvre, but... Very friendly manager who told me about the art, and revealed that the restaurant is part of a sizeable chain, although every outlet has it's own name. Fascinating.

Gota be honest here, I wasn't on site for food, I work for a Specialist Hygiene company, which requires us to attend their premises for their Washroom Facilities, so arrived, the Staff were Very Helpful, Professionall, I signed in and I cracked on, the Washrooms were in very good condition.. I've seen my few 😆, and there was one female, think she was the manager, she was Extremely helpful with us, She listened patiently to what I was telling her, regarding the service etc, so appreciate her time, so Excellent Customer service skills, tbh, the staff I met all were.. so cheerz. Food was great the first time but average the second time. Same food ordered? So there may be a bit of variation in the food area but overall very good and very popular.

Awful food... I only tried here to see what all the fuss was about, I now know not to take the advice of every single person that enjoys the food here.

Bad. Milk had been boiled in the flat white. Lamb was cold and rock hard basically inedable. Not worth the money

Overpriced and not very tasty cake! Staff were polite but had to ask for a napkin which didnt come with the plate.

Went there for first time. Reviews looked good. So disappointing. Waited 45 minutes firstly. Ordered two different ciabatta and when they arrived on very small plate. Barely any filling.it looked like a sandwich you would buy over the counter. Yet it was nearly £10. No garnish or crisps etc that could have least made dish look better. We only had few minutes to eat as we were on hour lunch. My daughter was paying so didn’t want to say anything too much but waitress didn’t come to see if meal was good until we had finished but did talk to hostess when left. She was very nice and apologised.

Atmosphere was great, service was quick. You order through an app. Lots of different choices but not a lot of depth to the taste. We had the 3 tapas, lamb curry and a burger so a variety of dishes but none of them were particularly tasty. But great vibes all around I.e. music, decorations, lighting were lovely.

Located in the old post office building means it is large, has good variety of food which is well prepared, personally I don't enjoy ordering by app or going to the bar to order.

I wasn’t very happy with my recent visit here. The manager was speaking to the staff like rubbish. She then brought my food over and my chips were burnt. I asked for new ones and it seemed to be a hassle. No sorry for this. Will not be going back anytime soon.

Can't comment on the food because it never arrived.wait for forty mins only to be told they lost our order .but we received our drinks that were part of the order very poor service Shane it got off to a good start but then went down hill

The food was very good . Great value for money. I was actually surprised how reasonable their prices are. The cocktails were weak but it was happy hour so well deserved 5 starts !

Terrible place, sat for 30 minutes waiting for our food I had to go to the bar asking how much longer it would be only to be told by a server there has been a glitch and a manager to say our order wasn't even on the system. Got a refund and ended up in Subway, should have gone there first. 2nd time I have been in a Correo Lounge and both times its been awful. Never again

Very nice place Good food great service

This has become one of our favourite spots to come and have something to eat and put the world to rights - “we” being a bunch of retired or semi retired gentlemen. (LOL). The staff are so lovely, the coffee is great, the food is fab and the moaning, picky vegan one of us loves his selection. That’s me, by the way. Can I say how lovely the staff are again? And the prices seem pretty decent too. We will be back, many times hopefully.

We visited for lunch for the first time and we both had spaghetti carbonara. It was nice other than the fact it was laced with garlic which is unnecessary and I could still taste it several hours later. It made my family member sick when they could smell it emanating from me 10/11 hours later. Also there wasn’t enough spaghetti for our appetites. The jammy ice cream doughnut was nice though. It’s a nut free zone, although nothing is 100% guaranteed. Staff were perfectly pleasant. Would like to return at some point and try the burger and perhaps breakfast.

The indoors smelled a bit funny but outdoor seating is amazing. We were lucky to have visited for Brunch on a sunny day. Really tasty food and great service.

We had been wanting to try Correo Lounge for a while, having had it recommended by family. We got an afternoon where we were kid free so went for lunch. We sat outside & received cheerful service from the staff. Our food was lovely & we felt it was fairly priced. We will definitely return when we get another opportunity.

A big barn of a place with many paintings on the walls. I had to order through the app which made it impersonal. The food came quickly and was well presented. However it felt more like a canteen than a pub or restaurant. Good for cocktails and a quick meal

We’ve visited this restaurant as a family meet up. The atmosphere is great and it looks very unique in there. We all decided to go and try this place as we’ve never tried this. I was impressed that they had a kids table with colouring in stuff and some board games ♟️ to keep the children entertained. There is a place where you can help yourself to water which we found out later and weren’t made aware of by anyone that works there, which would have been nice as we ordered cordial but with no water so he ordered bottled water 💧the food was ok but quiet pricey for what it was as for the same price we’ve had a lot better. The Menu is massive with a variety of different foods form around the globe but would be better if it was more specialised to one cuisine. I think because of the broadness of the Menu the food wasn’t as great as we’ve expected. When it came to the food it was pretty mediocre, but I do recommend this place if you want a different atmosphere and just go for a quick coffee ☕️ in town.

Good dinner, with both an oriental menu in general and an English/international one. Good service, strange but nice environment, tidy and clean.

A little gem. Self-seat, order at bar / online via QR affair, so fairly casual for a restaurant. But food variety and prices very good - adequate portion size, quite tasty, so comes out at decent value. About 1/3 of all main courses and desserts were sold out, quite surprising for first evening sitting. Decor and atmosphere pleasant, simple menu means quick and friendly service. Very good allergy awareness practices (asking on entry and at table with bespoke allergen specific menus), which is excellent to see. Would return / recommend.

I hate to slate this place but it was really bad. Take a look at the picture of ‘vegan bacon sandwich’. This is not a bacon butty. This is chewy, cold bits of vegan mice. It should be rashers of vegan bacon. The pesto, rocket & mozzarella panini had such little filling it, I had to jazz it up with mayonnaise. Both should come with a little side salad at least, maybe even a little coleslaw or/and some crisps. For nearly £8 for the panini & nearly £6 for the bacon sandwich I’m unsure for what we paid for. It was honesty the worst lunch I’ve ever had. Wifi not working so you have to hunt down a staff member for menus, all three menus are far too large and way too many pieces of paper. Everything I asked for on the menu was originally not available. Well at least the kids can colour in…oh wait…none of the pencils provided are sharpened. Save your money and do not eat in here unless you want cold chewy vegan mice in bread or a panini with little filling.

food was below average..I would give 0.5 stars but there is no such option here..so minimum 1 star.. I asked for mustard..they said they haven't got it...after spending nearly 50 pounds..it wasn't worth it..Nasi gorang was sweet rice...no where near Malaysian taste..salt chilly squid was dry and tasted like cardboard.....service was extremely slow...there was a table next to us..little children starving waiting for their food for an hour...not acceptable...we waited for over an hour too..never going there again....not worth it....

Love the decor. Love the menu. Modern Mediterranean/fusion. Micky Flanagan would say this place has 'Ambiance'. Prices high enough to keep the poor people out. 2022 visit: Food let it down - both items I ordered were poorly cooked. Mushroom tagliatelle really tasty but the pasta was stuck together and therefore uncooked (hard and inedible), and a tiny portion, which makes it poor value for money. When I complained to the waiting staff they weren't interested. Based on the price/value/quality I don't think I will eat there again. 2023 visit: Decided to give it another go because one of our group is gluten free. Food was nice but such small portions! For £12.50 of food I don't expect to still be hungry afterwards! It's like, "Is that it?Where's the rest of it?!" 3 out of 4 of us wanted to go to McDonald's afterwards for a second meal. Disappointed again by value (cost and portion sizes).

Went for my first time with friends, had some good food, and very friendly staff. They were absolutely packed but the food turned up very quickly, looking forward to going again.

Food great staff attentive. Ladies toilets out of order again.Queue for disabled which ladies were using. Wished it was table service I'm struggling walking and needed to get up and pay for every course. Wasn't allowed to pay at the end.

Pleasant welcome. Told food could be a wait of up to 45 mins. After 1 hr 15 mins we asked for our food, or said we'd request a refund. Food then arrived and was average. The couple on the table next to us ordered before us, and had still not received their meal after an hour and a half of waiting. No apology from staff during the longer than expected wait, and waitress didn't crack a smile and looked grumpy. It was our first and last visit!

Good and friendly service. Food excellent and good value. Particularly good provision for gluten intolerance. Odd surroundings but added to the experience.

Went in to try the breakfast menu. The food and drink was really good, but no better than other places nearby, and the portion sizes were significantly smaller for the price paid.
