a table was booked for a Christmas lunch, for a group of ladies who attend a local pilates group. The beefeater was chosen as it is quite central, so would suit everybody. When we arrived we were told that most of the food was not available, in fact we were given a list full of the foods that we couldn't order !! including most of the food from the festive menu, we had booked the festive lunch ! The food was finally ordered, when it arrived it was slightly warm and rather tasteless. The table was not set for Christmas, although there was a box of Christmas crackers near by, we were told that they were for the festive menu, which we were due to have if they had any food in stock !!!! The only saving grace was the lovely lady who waited on our table, had it not been for her we would have walked out.....Thankyou Beefeater for ruining our Christmas outing

Lovely pub with great community spirited owners, always supporting other local businesses and the friendliest staff, such a warm welcome. Great roast dinners, so much of it and always tasty and fresh and such good value for money, often doing some great deals. We had 2 for 1 roast at the weekend and you still get as much food. Well done team, keep up the good work. 👏👏👏

Service was a little slow and we had to chase a few things but I think the young waiter was new so he’s forgiven. We sat outside for the sunset which was spectacular but then once it got a bit chilly we came inside. Food was very good, well cooked and good choices. Would recommend

The food was fabulous, on Tuesdays they currently offer gluten free which was perfect for my daughter. The menu was a giggle to read and the service quick and friendly. They also offered great chicken nuggets for our non fish lover as well. Really great - would heartily recommend.

Lovely little cafe, nothing was too much trouble. Extensive menu, something for everyone. Can’t understand some of the reviews on here as we loved it. Staff were very friendly. We had the sausage and bacon baguette, filled as much as it could be and served with salad and tortilla chips. I struggled with the size of the meal. Ham sandwiches were beautiful, lots of very good ham and served with crisps. Cream tea was more than ample, beautiful home made scone. Ice cream sundaes were HUGE, looked delicious. Dogs are allowed inside too. Can’t find a single fault with this little gem

Tasty fresh food at a good price. Very good portions. I’m intolerant to dairy and gluten but Tower Bank Arms bent over backwards to accommodate me for breakfast and dinner. Stunning food and a lovely atmosphere. Cannot recommend highly enough!

I often stop by here to refuel on a dog walk (it's dog friendly) and it has never disappointed. The food is good and reasonably priced. In particular I would recommend the breakfast which is very good and offers great value and you get a cup of tea or coffee thrown in as well. The cakes are great and I often go for a toasted tea cake washed down with a coffee which, again, is reasonably priced. The staff here are wonderful and are so helpful & friendly nothing is ever too much trouble. As I'm usually on my own with our 2 dogs in tow when I visit the staff are always happy to bring my drink to the table to avoid any spillages caused by an excited dog hoovering up a dropped morsel in the complete different direction of my own travel! One word of warning they stop serving hot meals and breakfasts at 2.30pm after which it's just drinks, sausage rolls, pasties and cakes.
