I had the 12oz Vampire burger and it tastes absolutley amazing. As I sunk my teeth into the meet, the juice oozesâThis is exactly what burgers should be.
I was served by a lovely lady saturday evening, soooo helpful, i wanted chips and a veggie burger, and she was honest and told me the chips are cooked in beef fat, i wouldnt have been impressed if i had eaten any after being a vegetarian for 42 years! Soooo much appreciated, i love honesty too, a big believer in it, also they did me some fries cooked using something else.
Thankyou all again.
Top notch service, after driving around what seemed like forever to try and park near, so all your kindness was very welcome.

I went with my husband and son for dinner. The food that came out was very poor. Everything was over cooked. Mine was not even identifiable! Wonât be going back.
Unfortunately we missed breakfast by 5min (due to ferry cancellation) and staff were not willing to take an order. After having purchased savoury snacks from the Deli, and ordered hot drinks from the cafe, we were rather rudely told that we could not consume these on the terrace due to Deli food attracting rodents- on the terrace there were number of people eating food from the cafe, therefore this reason / excuse was not valid.
The only reason we hadn't purchased the food from the cafe was that after breakfast service finishes only sweet cakes were on offer.
Disappointing start to break in the island.
We had read previous reviews about service so weâre prepared.. we were sat straight down and given menus, quite a few bookings came at the same time. Food order was taken quickly and drinks brought. The waitress was very busy but dealt with it well although there was a young waiter passing the floor but no interaction with the customers not actually sure what he was doing. We didnât get offered the dessert menu but had enjoyed our meal so didnât need one. Excellent food and good portion size.
Just returned home after a 2 day break with hubby & our 2 Springers for our Ruby wedding anniversary. First came for our silver wedding anniversary & then our 30th.
Well you didnât disappoint! Lovely, friendly staff. Breakfastâs & dinnerâs were excellent. Full marks to the chef for quality food, beautifully presented.
Have to mention Alvin. What a delightful gent đ€. Made sure we were well looked after & spoilt our Springers with sausage at breakfast.
A truly stunning hotel. The most enjoyable stay. Thank you

Stumbled across this charming restaurant, located right on the seafront, when walking our dogs
by Appley Tower - Ryde Seafront.
We asked if we could sit in and have just a drink on the terrace, as we weren't planning on eating out.
We received a wonderfully warm welcome, were offered blankets, and our dogs offered a nice fresh bowl of water, which was brought over to the table - very considerate.
We were pleasantly surprised at the wonderful menu offering, which was just to our liking - the food did not dissapoint.
We chose chicken kiev and coq au van, both of which had a wonderfully rich taste - the kiev, quite garlicky, which I love, so we'd say food was delicious and very enjoyable.
For dessert we shared a chocolate fondant, which again, I would highly reccomend - gooey and yummy.
Such a great little find, very friendly staff, wonderful location, excellent food, beautiful terrace, and all whilst also listening to the soothing sound of the sea, whilst we sat and enjoyed the ambience.
Christmas menu looks great too, just our kind of food, we'll deffo be back soon - thank you
I came in with 3 other adults and 3 small children. The kids ran up to me in the queue then a staff member with orange hair and an Eastern European accent came over and gave me a horrible look and shouted. âKids are not allowed to run here keep them in controlâ.
Then proceeded to talk loudly to another staff member about our children.
Disgusting customer service and after 15 years I will NOT be returning. If you do not like children or adults or customers. Donât work in catering and hospitality environment. This woman should be sacked. Awful experience.

Live on Island, been to new cafe many times fully enjoyed. Sadly visited today and found person serving at till very unhelpful and sarcastic when I told her my husband was deaf. Staff today also need to smile as looked very unhappy which is a shame for such a wonderful cafe
