Was there for the scooter rally live bands and music great atmosphere 👏

Poor service from inattentive staff and poor food quality. Wouldn't dine again.

Very friendly and helpful staff and the food came out fast. Great place for a post-festival meal.

This was a " we need the loo" place, we had been out all day so stopped here because it had seating outside. The service was slow but friendly. The WC surprisingly clean ( as it was so busy, I had not expected that). The music inside was far too loud but it was nice outside. All in all it was okay, however not a fan of Ryde. Much nicer places to go to on the IOW

Nice to sit outside and eat a great lunch which included a beer and burger for £10 (chips extra but worth it). Credit to the lady who was rushed off her feet as other member of staff had called in sick but we were served quickly for both drinks and food.

Thought the food was over price until it came out which was big sizes plates and was really nice, will have food here again when back in Ryde.

What a lovely burger 🍔 and chips with salad 🥗😋 10 pounds is a bargain!

On the plus side there was lots of seating available inside and out and the drinks etc were okay. The location is also good being on the seafront. The issue I have with this place is it felt quite hostile - the bar staff made it feel like a chore when ordering drinks and weren’t particularly welcoming or polite. All in all I’d go there again but only if other establishments weren’t open.

Quite underrated. The food is actually great and you get late evening sun outside. Not got the sea view but is pleasant enough and 30 seconds from a seafront walk. Fantastic burgers, great quality for the price, great service and staff.

Went to the pavilion bar yesterday Sunday 18th of December to meet up with family. The man working behind the bar was nice and helpful and we ordered drinks while we decided what to eat . Three of us decided on an all day breakfast but didn't realise it came in a roll we were told that Ryde Castle did all day breakfast and we should go over there if that's what we wanted . We then choose something else and all ordered in quick succession, however some of us were waiting a very long time for our food while the others had almost finished theirs, the rude man that came out with our food was shouting out our orders way before he got to our table we had no idea he worked there at first as he was wearing a coat . The food was okay for what it was but he didn't bring any cutlery for us to eat it with ,when we complained about the lengthy wait and lack of cutlery he then decided to give me four sets of cutlery with my food. He did say he would get the manager, we never saw a manager. We all ate our meal and nobody bothered to clear our table which was left with cups ,glasses plates for hours after we had finished. It's such a shame as it used to be a lovely place with lovely staff.

Excellent how the staff coped with the scooter rally I attended recently, all beverages flowed well and it was Kept fairly clean considering the amount of folk in attendance, well done.

A great location and plenty of seating outside. As it connects so easily to the nearby amusements I imagine it’s very good for families who want a meal. The food was fairly standard. We had a meal just after 6pm and the staffing levels were clearly ‘thin’. When you did speak to any of the staff they were friendly and helpful.

Nice place to relax and have a few before going bowling and I must say it does one of the best pizzas I have ever had. Give it a go.

The bar maid was very friendly and helpful but the "cook" obviously had had enough on the day we visited. The chips were nice (although I wanted mash with my pie), the peas were edible but my pie was burnt! As in the pastry was black and flaky I don't know why it was even presented to me as a meal. Was definitely not worth £12!!! There was about three teaspoons of mince inside this "chefs homemade pie". One of our children ordered sausages and again these were very overcooked and hard. Disappointing meal. Wish we hadn't bothered.

Horrendous. Terrible service if any service at all. Served cold coffee, went to complain as no one was around and got "told off" for waiting by the door.

John the barman was wonderful! Very patient with the more elderly customers and very friendly, welcoming and hardworking- he never stopped! Definitely be coming back ❤️ Sandwich was also lovely and fresh.

Went along yesterday and enjoyed some great food and drinks in the sunshine. Great place to visit!

Just to drink cup of tea for a while. Some people drink outside the pavilion when the good weather is.

For the first time in isle of Wright, this place paints a poor picture. After waiting 30 minutes for my lunch (fish fingers and chips) we had to remind the lady who went to check then told us there was a mix up. Then we had to wait another 20 minutes however when it finally did turn up they were the wrong chips-the right chips never came. Was a bit overwhelming as my family and I done nothing but travelling since 9am that day!! Very poor and would not come again.

Great venue for. Events. Great atmosphere, love coming here for lambretta day, March of the mods. And the national scooter rally.

Okay amusements but unhelpful staff regarding the adventure golf, this wasn't mentioned to us that it gets dark and scary and our 5 year old was terrified yet no refund was given after 1 hole, we attempted to go back in with our 5 year old and the woman wanted to charge us again, we promptly left at this point.

Family friendly, lively, clean, comfortable

The Pavilion is a cast iron building dating from 1927 and is worth a visit in its own right, we had just popped in for a cuppa, but they also do food. We were pleasantly surprised at how quiet it was as it adjoins the bowling alley. They do have sports screens.

Went here to watch the boxing whilst on holiday, food and drink we're ok but not the greatest choice on the menu. We went for the burger and chips which was cooked pretty well and tasted better than expected. Not somewhere I'm likely to go to again but probably ideal if you have children.

Visited the Pavilion Bar & Grill today, and couldn't fault the venue.The food was beautiful, all my family cleared their plates and the staff were great. Went above and beyond to make sure myself and my family were happy. Lovely atmosphere, and the place was so clean and tidy. Highly recommend. Thank you all !

Had a lovely day here, amazing staff and excellent quality food. Burger was perfect and chip for 1 yr old was spot on, perfect family day out. only meal that missing is a mixed grill which be great to see. thanks to all team here great hospitality

Friendly service, nice and close to the seafront and great food - they even have a vegan burger! Reasonably priced and family friendly. Will be going back.

Took the family there today really good food excellent staff nice and friendly and wanted to help in any way they could it is well worth a look and value for money.

Great venue, offering amazing food! Friendly staff who accommodate to your every need. Wonderful selection of good wines and hold excellent events! Comedy was brilliant. Thank you we will be back soon.

Lovely fish and chip lunch. Friendly staff.

The burgers were nice, but the service wasnt. The children were given frozen chips that were over cooked and very bitty. The sauce on the kids meatball and pasta was very strong and overpowering. There were a lot of drunk men shouting.

The BIG hotdog, false advertising it was an normal size hotdog not even a Jumbo size and I wouldn't of minded if they hadn't charged me £5.99 for it that was just for the hotdog with onions no chips or sides, complete rip off. Also my son has had a doggie tummy since eating there on Saturday and is still not right today
