We popped in to grab a coffee before we went back to our hotel. Staff were friendly and service was very quick!

Always friendly and accommodating. Staff make this Costa better than quite a few others. Great location and easy parking nearby

Came in and it was rather quiet, the woman who served me was short and had dark hair. She was rude from the start, and lacked enthusiasm, I understand it may not always be fun but I felt bad for ordering. I had one of the frostino’s and it was amazing, can’t fault that. Just the woman put me off, she was more interested in having a conversation with someone she knew and more or less ignored me. I also didn’t appreciate her picking the straw up with no tongs or atleast a glove, as most places do with their added corona measures

Walked in and was greeted by friendly staff who to be fair couldn’t do enough for me. I love costa anyway but this is definitely one of my favourites. Lovely big windows so perfect for people watching and I didn’t feel rushed despite limited seating. Coffee was perfect as usual. And the wrap was nice. I’ll definitely be returning here when I’m next on the island.

I have been regular visitor to many Costas for over 10 years but Ryde was a first when I was asked to vacate my table for other customers. I appreciate limited tables due to pandemic but was still disappointed.

We visited under covid restriction but were able to access a freshly cleaned table and chairs and place our coffee order easily. Bathrooms where clean and easy access for disabled.

We visited this on a busy morning using the 'eat out, help out' initiative. The staff were very friendly (in particular Sara) who had the organisation and cleaning of tables, as smoothly as they could in view of the circumstances- great coffee and a really upbeat atmosphere in the eatery

Visited Costa late morning today. In this hot weather, the air conditioning was most welcome. The whole place was spotless and each table sanitised as customers left. The Staff were all helpful and working hard with Covid precautions strictly observed. Good coffee and food delivered to your table.

Unsatisfactory drink. Luke warm. Drinks are expensive and should be made correctly. Most staff seem capable, unfortunately it’s the minority of staff that are incapable and therefore are the ones providing a bad service. Very disappointing :(

The interior is tired and shabby without being chic. Coffee was just about hot but the flavour was poor. The place was popular but I would not bother again.

Quick courteous service at a busy time - coffee good quality. Next time will look to drink in rather than grab and go.

In a good location up the High Street away from the front. Consistent milky lattes as usual. Have been a few times.

Stopped for a cream tea which the wife enjoyed. Usual 2 scones provided with jam and clotted cream and a good pot of tea. They normally do Gluten Free cream tea but due to high demand had sold out of GF scones. They were however able to supply GF cheese scones so I had a savoury version of cream tea, 2 GF cheese scones, a tomato chutney and a cream cheese. Was very nice and would recommend.

A very peaceful place to stay, in the centre of Newport, conveniently located, close to the bus station and to restaurants. Charming interiors, with a lot of character. Spacious, comfortable and clean room. Breakfast is served, and freshly prepared after the order is made. Hostess is friendly and Staff polite. We will definitely stay there again!

Good size meals, especially breakfasts. Good cuppa, no frills just true value, friendly staff. I would visit again and recommend this café.

Stopped here for tea and we're so glad we did. Loose leaf tea in a china tea pot (not one of those awful stainless steel ones that dribbles all over the table), a tea strainer, china cups and saucers and a china milk jug - this is how tea should be served. The Bakewell slice and chocolate cake were both delicious and the portions very generous. The friendly welcome and engaging staff added to the enjoyment. Looking forward to the next visit.
