Great food, good value, friendly helpful staff. My go to when in Ryde instead of going to other local outlets which are the opposite. Often have to queue but worth the wait.

We had a fantastic afternoon during our Cocktail Masterclass with Kieron. Kieron demonstrated every step of making the perfect cocktails, while having a fun time. He clearly knows his way around the cocktail menu. Thank you

Really enjoyed our visit here yesterday. My husband and I both had a bagel which was really delicious. I had the chicken and avocado and it was really packed with filling, so tasty. The staff were friendly and welcoming, I would definitely return.

My partner and I found Gladys May Cakery on Saturday morning while walking around Ryde we both had a sandwich and cake and a drink we would go back again very nice

What a great night! We went there to celebrate my nieces birthday and we had a wonderful evening. Four of us sorted steak and there was one spaghetti Bolognese. The steaks were excellent. Mine was medium rare. It was cooked to a tea and the pepper sauce and fries with a perfect accompaniment. Will be coming back again.

Really delightful food, and great IoW Festival decor. Staff were lovely. Bathroom out back felt a little 'used', but overall lovely place for lunch or brekkie.

Food was amazing, and the staff are very friendly. Price are also reasonable. Definitely would come back

We booked a cocktail masterclass at Artisan Cocktail Bar & Grill back in early February, but when we arrived, our booking wasn’t in their system. To make things worse, they don’t usually run cocktail classes on Saturdays, so we were worried my mother’s birthday celebration would be a bust. Thankfully, Kieron saved the day! He arranged cover for the main bar so he could still run the masterclass for us. From start to finish, the evening was brilliant - plenty of laughter, learning, and delicious cocktails. If you visit, make sure to ask Kieron for The Solero - it tastes exactly like the ice cream and is absolutely delicious. The only reason I can’t give 5 stars is that the food was pretty standard and took forever to order and arrive. This is definitely more of a cocktail and drinks spot, but the masterclass is highly recommended. Huge thanks to Kieron for making my mum’s belated birthday treat so special!

Proper pub. Called in as we saw they had a pub quiz on. Great staff, decent prices and very welcoming.

Stayed the night on the island & raced my bike half way around to catch the ferry back at Ryde. In a hurry and Hungry for breakfast & being gluten free I was not overly optimistic about food, there did not appear to be any outlets other than the pier cafe. How wrong I was. The Pier cafe " Yes we have gluten free bread" ' Yes we know what time the ferry is" Not only was my bacon & egg roll gluten free and the service quick. It was delicious ! If not for the others I would have got the next ferry and had another.

Looking for somewhere to eat and use for our regular eat when we are on the island and in Ryde. This will not be the place unfortunately. It says on menu 1/4 pound chicken burger. It hardly covered the standard size burger bun. Not worth h the £5.90 they charge and that is it if you want chips or anything that’s extra. Most of staff friendly, one member not sure if new but no idea how to process our order. The quest is still on for a nice place to eat in Ryde with our dog.

Stopped by the Black Sheep bar, and they weren't serving food, just drinks. But the drinks were good! Especially the Long Island ice tea and Peach Fuzz – super refreshing. 🍹🍸

Chicken undercooked, gave me food poisoning

Lunch not a patch on years ago when the food was prepared and interesting.Wonderful terrines , cheese as an option for a supplement. Seems to be Brake Brothers standards now
