The best restaurants in Hart South East

My son recently celebrated his 6-th birthday at Fleet restaurant and I have to say that I was impressed. Not only that he enjoyed his pizza making party so much , we , as parents were blown away by the dedication of the staff to make everyone happy . They do these parties only once a week on a Sunday so you have to book well in advance if you want to catch an open space , but they are so worth it ! The kids will have so much fun making their own pizza , they'll learn about all the ingredients and some of the secrets of pizza express and also the chefs will put up a show of throwing and spinning pizza dough in the air ...all kids will have a great memory for a long time after this . Big shout out to Mia , the hostess who looks after these parties, the chef , Arlindo and to the manager ! They all gave their best to make my son's birthday a day to remember . Couldn't be more happy , THANK YOU !

Food lovely as always, even got a special treat for a birthday in the group, always recommend to people looking for a nice meal in the area!

Food was cold, staff were very professional and friendly but the food was cold very disappointed

I loved Paul & Nichola but does anyone now understand that advertising sauté potatoes (thin crispy slices) is not the same as the Parmentier that they serve. Slices and cubes are different. I was always surprised mentioning it and given their experience they seemingly had no idea of the difference. If you would like sauté, spell it out to the waiting staff!

Be aware, Google says they close at 5.30 but we arrived on a lovely sunny afternoon at 4.35pm, to have a coffee and cake in the sun. But even though their cakes are on display right in front of you, they won't serve you anything after 4.30pm. What a shame, they're missing out on sales there, we went to The Wellington Arms instead and had lovely coffee and cake!

Drive Thru - Just been to Starbucks Fleet Drive Thru- flat white cold! When I asked for my crisps they throw them out of the window and they fell on the floor outside of my car! p! Another bag was given to us. A total waste of money coffee was NOT drinkable.

We'd stopped in Harley Wintney, were looking for a cafe and spotted The Courtyard. What a lovely spot! We enjoyed sitting in the garden to have our cup of tea.

My family have been regulars at the Gulshan since ther 80's, so it was a no brainer that we ordered a takeaway from here when my mum visited last weekend. To be safe, We ordered at 18:15 and the (luke warm) food arrived two hours later, I had a taxi booked for 20:00 so didn't eat, when I returned later in the evening my mum said it wasn't nice. I called and explained and they didn't call back. What a shame this place can't deliver good food, or even care to fix it when they screw up.

One of the best Hotel meals I have had

We usually eat at Monsoon however wanted thought we'd try The Taj for a change. We'd hadn't booked but there were a few empty tables. Good fresh & warm poppadom & nice pickle chutney selection. chicken rezala & tikka shashlik both tasty & chicken was tender. Rice, nann & side of saag paneer also good. The only negative was the lighting, the room is way too bright!

An enjoyable meal, which met our expectations.

A traditional Chinese. We had a set meal which was very good. Crispy duck excellent, sesame prawn very good. The lemon chicken however was over sweet for our palate. It’s rather old fashioned and could benefit from a refresh. However it’s good food and friendly service and it’s good value.

I thought the lamb rump was excellent. Tender and very tasty. And the friendly and efficient service from the assistant manager Simon was first rate. Will definitely come again.

I don’t understand the negative reviews. have been eating here getting a takeaway on and off for the last two years at least once a month every time spot on my go to Chinese takeaway

Incredibly bland and tasteless takeaway meal. Naan was best part of meal. £43 spent. Not good enough. Very disappointed.
