The best restaurants in Holy Trinity Guildford South East

I have always loved Meat the Greek. The food has always been amazing. Today we visited since they expanded and WOW. As if Meat the Greek could get any better but it just did! They have upgraded the location and the menu. Great to have tables to sit at. Everything was clean. Ordering was easy. Order at the bar or use the QR code on your table to order. Drink arrived quickly after ordering and we did not have to wait long for our food which was amazing. I thought I would try the new Pita Club Pork! It was a massive portion and delicious. Loved the green pepper in there with the tomato and the melting cheese and pork meat. I struggled to finish it. I have been many times before and will most certainly return for more of this delicious food. Efharisto!

The food is fresh and great. However the portion size was ridiculous. The identity of chipotle is big portion size, but the portion was very small. I understand that the pricing will be higher than the us as it’s an american brand, but I at least expected for the portion to be the same. Disappointing

Vitality voucher didn't work and that was enough to annoy me.

Wonderful tapas restaurant, a warm welcome, authentic flavours, helpful advice about how many plates to order. The paella was delicious & the service attentive. We will be back soon!

The food is always delicious from this place. However, when buying a takeaway, make sure you check that your order is correct before you leave the Resturant. I recently had some food missing from my order today - ordered a mixed grill but some of the meat was missing. When I tried to take it back so they could correct it, I was treated like I was lying about this.

On the positive side I thought the food was lovely - perhaps not authentically Mexican but closer than the tex-mex served elsewhere. The restaurant has an interesting layout - we had booked ahead and had been allocated a table closely opposite a very wide female toilet door - if I were to return I would ask for a table in the main restaurant near the kitchen/service area and away from the toilets. The service was disappointing - a lot of staff but it was as though we were invisible - the first order of starters was forgotten and we were just left there for 10 minutes without anyone coming to check what we would like to order. Asking a passing waiter if we could have some more water for the table he looked at us and completely ignored us. As service charge of 12.5% was added to the bill I am guessing the staff don't feel they need to put in any effort as at the end of the day they still got £13 from our table for poor service. Yes I would visit Gordos again as I like the food - but I am disappointed I cannot give this restaurant a 5 star review.

Amazing, must try! Modern style wine bar with an amazing range of wine by the glass. Valpolicella and Assyrtiko to name few. The food is great as well from cheap snacks to well stocked charcuterie boards. Find me a better wine bar!

haven't been for a while as last experience not too good - food and obnoxious female manager. However was delighted to find last Thursday that all seems to have changed. Our waitress (small blonde ) was wonderful. The service and food seemed much improved - we had the sweet potatoe soup with toast and the tagliatelli - both superb. Will return soon

Always a great venue for breakfast with friends. Last there on 28 th September. Excellent food offered complet which is great value. Superb service,friendly and professional. Finished with glasses of fizz.

I like this place! I went a few times with friends, we had different food and deserts and we liked everything in this restaurant! The service was good, so friendly and with a cosy atmosphere.
