We visited Jeita on a Saturday night in February as a group of 7, the service was great and we were simply blown away by the food. We ordered a selection of main and mezze dishes. The portions were generous and everything tasted delicious! We had a lovely evening and are looking forward to visiting again soon

I stumbled upon Jeita Restaurant when I was looking for a local place for a quick lunch, and now I want to visit it for breakfast and dinner everyday. Jeita is genuinely a hidden gem, and Rabie, who owns the restaurant, welcomed my friend and I and treated us like family. The restaurant is welcoming and warm, as soon as I walked in, I felt comfortable and at home. Rabie, who took the time to get to know us and recommended lunch options, is a connoisseur of his craft. He’s super engaging and he knows his menu - we were in a little bit of a rush, and he knew what would be best to order when queried and the timings of it’s arrival. The hosting and service is but one part of the experience which was wonderful. But now - the FOOD. Because oh my god. We cleaned those dishes up - and what we couldn’t, we HAPPILY took home to finish. We ordered to share the Mezze Platter to start and the Aubergine Lamb Moussakka as our main and please, google review reader, allow me to say, every single item on that Mezze Platter melts in your mouth. The hummus, the baba ghanoush, the stuffed leaves/dolma, the falafel!! Every bite of the mezze, we kept saying, maybe we should order another! It was a generous platter, and honestly we could have had 3 more of it alone! But then the moussakka arrived and I could almost cry at how beautiful it tasted, I felt like I was eating a home-cooked meal by my grandmother. My friend, who had never had Lebanese mousakka (maghmour) before, was so blown away too. Our only problem was our time-limit, we couldn’t stay longer than an hour, but it was an hour well eaten, well dined, and well looked after. Please, whether you live in Guildford, or are visiting on the way, please visit Jeita and say hello to Rabie and enjoy his beautiful family-run restaurant. Hopefully I’ll be there again soon to try even more of the amazing menu and stay longer this time to order yet another Mezze Platter haha! Thank you Jeita!

It was a very beautiful evening . Inside the restaurant there is a beautiful atmosphere enhanced by a delicate traditional music. The service so welcoming and nice. But the most important thing was the food- a true masterpiece ! Delicious. Thank you!

You can’t serve such bland and tasteless food in a restaurant. I ordered lamb shawarma with rice—the lamb was tough and hard to chew. Paid £15 for takeaway, but it wasn’t worth even £5. This place is off my list.

The food was good, the service was good, but a 15% tip was added without asking my permission. It was embarrassing.

I went for lunch with my wife. Delicious food, and lovely service. The house wine was good as well. I’ll definitely be coming back! Sadly we were the only customers in the restaurant. I’m hoping that it was just a quiet day as it deserves to be a lot busier!

Another business solo review and this Lebanese was fantastic! Could see the chefs cooking everything fresh, I was early so not too busy and was impressed by just how fresh the food was. I am vegan so had 3 veg dishes and they were all amazing. The restaurant manager was really friendly and we had a good chat, which goes a long way when away with work! Will 100% be returning

As I'm crazy about Lebanese cuisine I was looking for an authentic restaurant and usually find it hard to find one, but this one is the best I had so far. Their Mutabbal (baba ganoush) is awesome !!! A really great place to eat.

Our first visit and couldn’t have been more impressed. The service is impeccable. Very friendly staff, no over bearing rush to get through your meal and couldn’t have done more for you! The food itself was outstanding with generous portions. Throughly enjoyed, looking forward to going back. 10/10.

Ordered from here because of earlier good experiences. Shawarma tasted like cardboard and the shish tawook was like a rock and had zero flavour.

Whilst I do not claim to be an expert in Lebanese food, I have had it once before in Dubai and it was to die for. So I was not expecting this from Guildford put was hoping for a good plate of food. On walking into the restaurant I could smell grease. I could hear the deep fat frier cooking and I throughout the evening I could hear the microwave ding. Not inspiring confidence. The staff were very friendly, attentive and the food was delivered quickly. However that was the end of the good bits. The food was terrible. The cold starter my wife had was average at best. My hot starter was very greasy and neither of us finished them. The main courses were delivered and whilst be both chose different things - they were nothing more than a deconstructed kebab. A bit of bread on the bottom of the plate, a portion of pre-chopped salad mix on the side and some very greasy meat / chicken, lamb and other one. Again neither myself or my wife could get through half of the meal. We gave up and I stupidly tried the Lebanese coffee. I had ordered a cinnamon tea at the start of the meal - which was the only highlight of the evening. The waiter went off and I watched him put a coffee capsule into a machine. Disappointing when the cinnamon tea had a real cinnamon stick in the team pot. The coffee was genuinely undrinkable. Now I've had Turkish tea before, which is apparently similar. And I am aware they its often necessary to load in the sugar to take away the edge of the coffee but this was not enough. It actually smelt like lorry engine oil. Anyway, I am sorry to say that whilst I am still looking for a good Lebanese restaurant - this one is not that. I won't go here again.

Four of us on a family visit ate in this lovely restaurant on Saturday night. The food was full of flavour and the staff could not have been more friendly. Good value, I would highly recommend.

Was recommended Jeita Restaurant by a family friend so we booked a table for 4 to celebrate my partners birthday. The food was delicious, great atmosphere and the staff were lovely and friendly. I would definitely recommend and we hope to visit again soon.

My husband and I truly enjoy Lebanese cuisine. Whenever we travel or go on business trips, we love exploring Lebanese restaurants in each city. We both agree that this restaurant is one of the best Lebanese places we’ve ever dined at. Every dish we ordered was delicious, even the bread, which was thin and soft—not too thick—paired perfectly with the hommos; it was simply heavenly.🫶😍 The restaurant was clean, private, and not noisy, and importantly, there were no cooking odors coming from the kitchen. Typically, when we visit such restaurants, we often notice cooking smells, but here, there were none at all.👍 Also, I would like to thank a staff member named Ali, who took excellent care of us. My husband and I were very impressed by his friendly and cheerful service.😊 I highly recommend that anyone should come and try this restaurant. 😊

The atmosphere of the restaurant and the service was amazing.

Ordered food for a party. The shawarma and falafel sandwiches were so delicious, moist and juicy. The presentation was impeccable as we wanted. Rabie (the owner) and the chef went the extra mile to make our experience brilliant. Will definitely go back.

We were asked to leave the restaurant by owner or a waiter . He literally said get out of my property. When we as students ordered 2 main course to share . He said you are 3 so you have to order 3 main courses to which we asked this shouldn't happen and then he said leave .

We had the worst experience ever at jeita restaurant guildford. They refused to serve us food. The guy who was serving claimed to be the owner and was super rude. He was approaching with such abusive language for no reason. We just were there for no more than 5 minutes and he already refused to serve.

The food was amazing! Everything was incredibly tasty. We ordered the mixed grill, the lamb with rice, and we also received a complimentary soup and some olives from the house. The portions were massive, and the service was exceptionally kind. One small suggestion: it would be great to add a bit more spice to the lamb.

Visited here for the first time with friends and I can honestly say we enjoyed every minute of it. The food was gorgeous and the waiter so helpful when it came to helping us choose our dishes - particularly with myself and my dietary requirements. The whole restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and we were able to take out the food we weren't able to eat as there was so much of it on the set menu. We will definitely be going back, for another lovely evening.

The staff had excellent communication, were consistently punctual, and delivered fantastic food throughout the event. The quality of the food was outstanding, receiving high praise from all attendees. Many colleagues even requested the name of the restaurant due to the impressive quality of the meals. I would definitely recommend Jeita to everyone.

We went in Tgis Wednesday for lunch to treat my son after his graduation ceremony. We went in thinking it's Jeitta Woking's franchise, but it was NOT!! Although it was just only us but it still took them a look time to prepare the food. Prices were very high compared to Jeitta Woking. The food portion was shockingly small , you feel like crying after seeing the main course served in smaller plates. Even then, the food looks so less. It's no way near enough for one adult, and prices are over £20 / main. Had to pay nearly £20 just for the service 🙄 I paid £160 but my kids were still hungry. Shwarama was served with half of the khubaz / bread n under the bread it was a big layer of oil n grease it made the bread soaking wet with oil...puts you off eating. Lahem meshwi (lamb cubes had smelly meat) didn't put enough garlic. Houmous was flavourless, too. Lb shawarma was ok, but again, not enough flavour n had to add salt n bits n bobs to get some flavour. It's not good in comparison to Jeitta Woking. I hope this branch changes its name so that rep. of Woking Jaleitta doesn't get tarnished. Jeitta WOKING is the winner 🏆 and I love it. With very good prices and food bursting with flavour even their houmous is amzing. Lovely place to dine in. I regret not going there instead.

Worst service and worst food. In fact they mentioned 10% service charge on their menu but charged me 12.5%. When mentioned in a friendly way, instead of accepting the mistake, they asked me to go eat at KFC. Extremely impolite staff. The food is below average too. I would avoid.

Had a delightful lunch at Jeita Lebanese Restaurant in Guildford with a friend today. We savored the chicken shawarma, warak enab b’zeit, and tabbouleh salad – all authentically prepared and bursting with flavor. The service was outstanding, with friendly and attentive staff. The Beirut beer was a fantastic complement to our meal. Highly recommend Jeita for anyone seeking a true taste of Lebanese cuisine!

Lovely meal here last night for my brother’s girlfriend’s birthday. Service was quick & friendly. The starters came out like Tapas style (when they’re ready) - tabbouleh was lovely and fresh, falafels great, hummus with the chicken tasty too and the spiced potatoes I could eat a bowl of alone! I did find the lamb shawarma rather fatty sadly and wished I got the mixed grill my partner had as that looked amazing! Yellow rice was also very very tasty. Generous portion sizes and option to take away anything leftover too. They also did a really nice celebration for her birthday! We will absolutely be returning to this place!! I need to try their baklava too as it looked delicious!

Weekday lunchtimes are a bit empty here and the atmosphere is missing because of that. Food is good, it's grilled meat, rice and salads.

One of the best Lebanese joints around! The staff are friendly and the service is great. The food is of exceptionally high quality on a range of items. I would personally recommend their lentil soup, hommous with shawerma, and tabouleh (top 3 of my favourite items from Jeita).

Went in for a quick Sunday lunch, place quite quiet. Just mains - I had the Baby Chicken which came with chips (nice suprise) and my wife had something little more authentic. As always, food was delicious and very friendly service. Conveniently located on the way into town from one of the multistorey car parks.

Went in late the other day, in a hurry, and they were amazing. We let them choose our food, which was the best decision as the mezze spread they provided was phenomenal. Incredible tastes, wonderfully prepared and attentively served.

A stunning restaurant with a lovely atmosphere. Robbie, the owner, tailored a vegan feast for my Dad and I. Flavours were incredible and presentation was beautiful. I cannot recommend enough! Will be taking my wife there for our anniversary and finding all other kinds of excuses to keep going back. Thank you Robbie, you’ve made my year!

Very expensive, not good flavour, bad portions. The roast vegetables came in big chunks with no oil/vinegar or any kind of sauce. Meat was tough in all the dishes we got. No sides with the mains, you have to order them extra. 5 pounds for rice... ridiculous Unfriendly service and have the audacity for a 12.5% service charge

Disappointed with the food; it seems they have reduced the menu options and the portion size. There is no drinks menu so don't know how much it costs and very limited options. The staff were not willing to make any recommendations and came across rather unfriendly.

Lovely authentic Lebanese food with proper Lebanese hospitality. The mezze are amazing, but make sure you save room for the lamb chops because they are stunning. Very nice people and great food - what more could you want!
