Lots of space and good pub quiz

We have visited Rogues Bar before but it was a long time ago. We hadn't been out in Guildford for quite a while and so on this occasion, decided to head up. We ordered a couple of drinks at the bar and then headed outside. I have seen comments and reviews about an outdoor area but never realised how vast it was. It wasn't that busy up on one of the terraces but is somewhere we would definitely return back to.

I just celebrated my 60th Birthday there it was the best atmosphere. I had around 70 guests and everyone commented on what a perfect place to hold a party. The Rogues team were so polite and helpful in everyway that helped made my party perfect. Thanks everyone. Stephen

Went in a couple weeks ago. Atmosphere is lovely, lots of comfortable seating around the entire pub and the staff are a joy. 100% recommend Rouges Bar to anyone in Guildford.

Really friendly pub and the outside area is massive. Different types of seating available (benches chairs etc). Some areas are covered so fine in the rain and there's a few outdoor heaters.

Fabulous place with an amazing outside area

I celebrated my 30th birthday here on the 18th of May. The fee for the room was really reasonable, the staff were really attentive and friendly. Especially two of the guys behind the bar I can remember their names but they were really helpful and talkative. The venue itself is nice as well, great garden and well laid out pub with the bar in the centre of the pub. The venue doesn’t do food but they let you order food in which worked quite well and was a fairly reasonable way to provide food for my party.

This is our local, we don’t go out that often but this is where we mostly go. Went in last night after work to meet some friends, there were people being served so we waited, as staff became available we were totally ignored , a young girl came to the bar right next to us and one of the young men serving served her immediately, despite our wait. I should add that the family are always really friendly and the service is usually great, this was such a disappointment to not even be acknowledged for the amount of time we waited and then be overlooked. We decided to leave and advised our friends that there was a change of plan and to head up to the horse and groom where we had a wonderful evening with great service from the moment we arrived.

Had my partners surprise 30th Birthday here and reserved the out door deck area which was perfect. It was sheltered, heated , comfy seats and perfect location to also enjoy the atmosphere of the pub! Staff were very accommodating and we had a great night ! Thanks again!

Recently held a 50th birthday party in the Barn & conservatory area. The staff were so helpful both before and during the night to ensure we gad everything we needed. Would highly recommend.

There’s something really good about this quirky pub. Go and enjoy the garden on a summers evening

Surrey Law Society hosted our annual quiz at Rogue's Bar in 2023 and had a fantastic experience. The staff were so helpful and the room looked great. We will definitely be returning and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Not the most interesting choice of beers, the same beers served in millions of average pubs up and down the country, but it's nice inside. It deserves better beers, but I'd return if in the area. Plus it's open late which is good.

Good place to have a drink without too many students! This is an over 25s bar, so a nice mix of people. Decent beer & wine selection.

Great bar they do nuts which are good but don't think they do food

Only popped in for a quick drink to get out of the rain. Glad we did. Opened the door to be greeted by the landlord, very nice . Free trial of his ale persuaded me to have a pint of his ale. Outdoor beer garden sheltered by giant canopies provides great atmosphere outdoors.

I stopped quickly for two beers on a hot day. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, good beers. The region is not the cheapest, the average price of beers is similar in most bars. The cheapest pint is around 5.8.

Rogues bar has always been my absolute favourite place in Guildford. Celebrated my 30th there in August, spent many fun times there. The team and Managers are some of the most Genuine and pleasant people I have ever had the pleasure of speaking to. The atmosphere is perfect. Cannot fault Rogues bar, highly highly HIGHLY recommend!

This is the most friendly and pretty bar in the area. It has a lovely garden with beautiful fairy lights. Highly recommended!

Beer is good, outside area is a great place with heaters if cold and staff is so friendly. Even got to taste Madri Lager before buying a pint. Highly recommended as this is my new local. If you near or visiting the area what are you waiting for?

Really Friendly staff and lovely atmosphere

This family owned bar is great because they really go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Lovely people. Reccomended. Update: Still a welcoming bar and the best raised patio in the area when the sun is out. Update 2: Still as warm and welcoming as ever. Family run. Recommended.

We hired ‘The Barn’ at Rogues for my partners 30th birthday, it was by far the best venue in Guildford! The service of the team was outstanding from start to finish (special shout out to Charlie, one of the most friendly & helpful guys I’ve had the pleasure of meeting!) Music system is great. TV system can be synced up to play a slideshow of photos. The private venue area is perfect and comfortably hosted 55 people. You have the option to use the tables outside of the function area too should you wish. We also had a full buffet table in there. It was just perfect! I was slightly worried what the bar service would be like on the night as the bar is small, but the team on the night were fantastic and definitely was enough of them that the service was SO efficient. I don’t think I waited longer than a few mins for a drink on any occasion. The shot menu is brilliant too!! I won’t leave “why” in the review… you will have to find that out for yourself! The team at Rogues even cleared up the room at the end of the night. If I ever have any private hire/party requirements in the future I will not hesitate to use Rogues again! It’s slightly out of town & nearer to the Old London Rd train station. But you can easily get a taxi from main Guildford station. Nearest parking is about an 8 min walk away.

Rogues Bar is a superb venue, great location that offer a number of private hire options. I've been privileged to work alongside them over recent months. The team are amazing, friendly, helpful & accommodating. Customer service is at their heart, highly recommended.

Rogues is such a great bar, the garden is amazing and the staff are really friendly. I had a birthday party in the Barn and it was the perfect venue. Can't recommend enough!

Lovely space, not in centre of town which makes it great possibly as its a nice mature atmosphere but still gets busy Staff are great.

Turn down that amplifier. It makes my whole house and the area around vibrating. Awfully distressful. I will complain about your license to play the booming amplifier at night around residential area to the city council by gathering all neighbours around.

I always enjoy a visit to Rogues! Friendly staff, a good range of drinks, and a nice atmosphere (and even when it's busy, it's usually not overly busy like some bars in town). The outdoor patio is nice all year around, whether it's picnic benches in summer or huddling under the heaters in winter

This is the first time I have been here and I must say all of the bartenders are amazing and very accommodating. They have given the best service on this fine Christmas Eve. They are so friendly and have gone above and beyond by servicing shots and water to our table! 5 stars, would come again.

Nightmare to neighbours. Do not buy or rent properties around this or you will be tortured almost more than three or four hours (8pm~12pm) everyday by strong thumping sounds.

Small pub with an enormous garden and friendly staff.

Actually quite good although didn't have the app it advertised on tables for ordering drinks or the Lager it had advertised on the walls (Hop House). Just be careful that table service doesn't serve you drinks & tell you 5 minutes after delivery that you need to leave as your time slot is up.

A very pleasant place where you can spend an evening with friends or acquaintances over a glass of wine or beer, or even have a business meeting. Good service, polite waiters. I like it. I think I will definitely come here again

One of the few 'over 25s' bars in Guildford. There is lots of space outside and a few tables inside. I've been here over 10s of years and it always has a great atmosphere.

I held a birthday party here last night in the conservatory/private bar. The area was perfect, service was amazing, the staff bent over backwards to help and were so lovely. I honestly can’t recommend Rogues enough and they truly go above and beyond to deliver excellent customer service and value. Thanks again to Harry, Kieran and all of the staff there.
