Great burgers and great people running the place! Kids and I love a burger. We were introduced to Boring Burger last night by a friend. A good night. Tonight I asked the kids what they wanted to eat... the answer was a unanimous, "same burgers as last night"! Enough said! Great thin patty, simple genius! Best wishes to the guys, Richard and kids.

Made a pilgrimage and glad I did, I couldn't fault any aspect of the boring burger and can see why they made it to the National Burger Awards 2025 Final. Buns are spot on and hold their integrity, beef is well-smashed, the burger sauce is just right and complements the fine-shredded lettuce and onions well. Maybe lacked an extra X-factor to it, but every element was done brilliantly. There was a bit of a wait from our order, but this was because the burgers are made fresh to order

Best burger iv had to date.saw this place reviewed on tiktok and was one of the first places that lived up to the influences review.Ive tried loads and most has just disappointed me .only small groan bought a drink but wasn't told I could help myself until I asked for it.Wife had boring as cluck and was equally impressed.Boring as brisket is a must try for all meat lovers

Top tier ingredients tasted good my only grip is where the patty is so thin there’s burnt crust which I don’t usually mind however the burnt taste of the patties over took everything else. This is my opinion i can tell the guys have passion and will be back.

I have heard that boring burger produce the best burgers around! Unfortunately I never got to try one! After going out for a lovely lunch for my fiancé birthday we decided to grab a burger to go for our evening ahead! The lovely chap taking our order was great, nothing but top quality customer service! However it became clear very quickly that the 3x chefs in the OPEN kitchen didn’t like the gentleman working with them who took my order! After being rude to the their colleague and swearing out loud in front of myself and other customers I then proceeded to wait 40 minutes for 2x takeaway burgers! After getting a notification from my bank saying the payment had been taken 40 minutes ago I asked politely where our burgers were, and was shouted 5 minutes from the chef calling the order by name which was the wrong order…. After 10 minutes I asked for a refund in which the manager was called to speak to me! After thinking I would get somewhere with the manager, a very angry man arrived from back of house who continued to tell me I was wrong! I was told a refund couldn’t be made at the time and that he could not issue me a receipt either. After telling them it was a legal requirement to offer me a receipt he (the manager) miraculously found 1 (which he could not do 5 minutes prior)! Other than the man who served us (who unfortunately I didn’t catch his name) the service was shocking! We left hungry and amazed at level of disregard for their customers!

Hands down best smash burger in South east (on par with London outfits). Went on a busy Friday night and honestly the boring burger was delicious. Chips were also very crisp and great portion sizes. Rosemary salt was great. Would recommend.

The food was delicious. We had to wait an hour for 2 burgers and chips. Staff were rushing, working very hard. We saw several orders were missing items. So people had to keep coming back to complain. People with children clearly found it hard. We saw them taking large orders down the road to a pub. This was clearly what was holding things up. Had we known how long it would be, we wouldn't have bothered.

I’d heard a lot about Boring Burger, award-winning, raved about online, supposedly one of the UK’s top burger spots. So naturally, expectations were high. Unfortunately, it didn’t quite live up to the hype. Let’s start with the burger itself. Their signature smash burger is decent, but in my case, the patty was overcooked and dry — which really took away from what should’ve been a juicy, flavour-packed bite. Could’ve been a one-off, but still disappointing. The fries? Totally forgettable. Overall, the meal lacked that punch of flavour you’d hope for from a place boasting British Burger Awards credentials. The venue is pretty minimal, a small indoor bar table, a corner table, and most of the seating is outdoors. If the weather’s not playing nice, that’s a bit of a gamble. On the upside, the staff were super friendly and genuinely seemed to care, which does count for something. Maybe I went in with expectations too high , second place at the British Burger Awards sets a certain bar. But for me, this just didn’t hit. It’s an OK burger, sure, but not even close to cracking my top 20 in London. That said, if you find yourself in Guildford, it’s probably the best burger in town. Just don’t expect a life-changing experience.

Won't hurry back. Ordering was a real fuff - impossible to order in person. QR on the table seemed promising , and it was great that it was possible to customise the order alas, it was impossible to add drinks. Ordered through the one tablet inside, which didn't work well and, it turns out added unwanted items but did not show them on checkout. Thankfully the staff noticed it when preparing and issued a part refund. The food arrived very fresh and generous portions but the beef was very salty and the chicken had much to much batter. Overall not a great experience

Burguers are simply the best I ever had (don't tell my wife). Amazing. I went on a sunny Sunday afternoon so I had to wait more than I expected to get served, but it was absolutely worth it.

This spot is a gem, truly one of the best burgers I've had in the whole country. The brownies are delicious too!

Great food when I actually got it. Waiting 30 minutes for 1 signature burger is a bit much. Priority was serving Deliveroo and Pews Bar, not the customers waiting. There really should be someone doing takeaways and someone doing in-house. Cannot fault the burger though!

Saw a video on Instagram and thought I'd give it a go and I'm very happy I did food was absolutely amazing price was very reasonable definitely worth it to go if your feeling like having a very good burger

Oh my goodness, ordered burgers for my son’s birthday. I’ve lived in Guildford all my life (50+) Double classic signature, boring fries. Fries are so perfect, hint of rosemary takes them to another level. Burgers were best available in Guildford, taste and texture of the pattys were astounding . I’d probably say they would give most burgers available in the Uk lots to think about. For any old Guildfordians reading. BETTER THAN BRETTS😳

Just had our first boring burger. Wow, that is one tasty burger! Had the boring burger and katsu fries - can’t wait to have another one. The smash patties are amazing. Crispy, chewy, soft and full of flavour. Mmmmmmmm.

Most satisfying Burger of my life and I've had quite a few from all over the world, the American fries are super cheasy and bacony and the gochujang mac and cheese bites are the perfect mix of crunchy, creamy salty and slightly sweet.

Had two boring burgers, boring fries and dirty sauce with my son today. Holy smoke, we were recommended it by a friend and we spend a lot of time hunting down great burger joints. Around London, Brighton and Manchester didn’t realise this gem was on my doorstep. The burger was as good as any I have had and the fries were unquestionably the best I have eaten. Wanted to try this for a while. The staff seem friendly, although I ordered from the screen inside. The burgers are fantastic. In terms of flavour and value for money, they were standard burgers created to a very high quality and taste. However structurally, they can be difficult to eat, and they are very messy regardless of your approach. The area is not quite suited for sit-in eating unfortunately, but the burgers are definitely worth a try.

Honestly the best burger in the country! We frequently travel to Guildford for work and the boring burger is now our go to. Just knowing everything is fresh and kept to an amazing standard keeps us going back. This small place packs a massive punch, friendly and hardworking staff, self service refills and a take away brownie for home. 👌🏻🍔 O… and the gochujang bites 🙈 please try them.

I would write a negative comment in here but there’s nothing to complain about. Just had American fries and a boring burger and I am lost for words on how good it was!! I’m sat in my car writing this as I am too full to drive. Very generous portions, good selection of drinks that differ from the usual. Gobsmaked on how full I am. Will be returning again very soon!

After following the boring burger for about 6 months I finally was in the area, and decided to try it. this was perhaps the best burger I’ve ever tasted. when burger making is a passion you get results like these.

BORINGLY AWESOME! Have ordered several times from Boring Burger via Deliveroo and finally managed to visit and dine in. Always figured the fries and burgers would be considerably better when eating fresh without the travel time, condensation from being beautifully boxed in premium boxes and I wasn't wrong. Whilst the convenience of eating at home is great, the Boring Fries when fresh out the frier are bloody awesome, and the rosemary/salt seasoning combo are a delightful experience. First time ordering the Bored of Brisket Burger and Jheeeeez is it delectable. Highly recommend, although have plenty of napkins at the ready and some hand wipes as it is a messy one. They're a super busy operation, noting they had over 30+ burgers on order for delivery/collection, albeit fairly quiet from a dining in point of view. But this didn't affect the speed of service or quality of the burgers, fries and tenders that we ordered. Highly recommend the Bacon Jam and dirty sauces! Nice little detail as a music/audiophile I noticed they had a pair of KRK speakers. If you know, you know... Music choices of deep house and tech house were extremely pleasing! The staff all seem super focused in ensuring they process orders in a well orchestrated manner, but were friendly upon arrival and during our time there. Highly recommend Boring Burger! If I could provide one bit of feedback it would be to increase the sauce on the chicken tenders for more bang and heightened taste. I appreciate level of sauce preference is subjective but just felt it could have had more sauce for more flavour. That being said, the quality of the chicken tenders are spot on; crispy, real chicken and you can tell that love, care and attention has gone into producing all the menu items. Simple menu, done boringly excellent to execution! Until next time... Look forward to my next Boring Burger and Fries, whether by delivery or dining in.

Great food, the best smash burger I’ve tasted in a very longtime, 10/10. Accompanied by the American Fries, these were loaded just right. And to top it all off, the Biscoff Brownie, unreal, looking forward to trying the Nutella next time!

Wasn't bad but didn't stand out and wouldn't make me want to go back. Paid £29 for a large messy burger, big portion of cheesy chips and a side and it was all fine but just fine. Nothing to make me savour each bite. Had better for cheaper. Looks good on social media but in reality pretty mediocre...

Last time was a great experience chatting with one of the directors, and got great food. This time, I was ignored 3 times when I went in, to be fair they had a big order, but waited for 35 minutes in a freezing cold room and not even a drink of anything while I was waiting. Finally got my food, and the £7 fries were half the size when I last came, seemingly when they opened and the portions were bigger. Burger was good, and fries were second time round. I expected at least an apology or free drink for my extended inconvenience.

Yeah the burger's fine, probably great if you're on the smash burger hype train. Personally I don't see the point in a burnt slice of beef. However good it was, it wasn't worth the 40 minute wait.

I can honestly say I have never had a burger as good as the one I just had, even the chips and cheese sauce was 10/10!! And I've had a lot of burgers in my time from all round the world but this just goes straight to the top of my list! Will definitely be a weekly munch at The Boring Burger from now on, next week will try the brisket burger! I cannot wait! Great service, great spot outside and very reasonably priced!

It’s not reallly a boring burger, I definitely love their brisket burger, highly recommended food. The taste is perfect to my palate. My family and friends visited the place in Guildford. Their staff is friendly and takes our request with prompt respond. I also love their biscoff shake, it’s not too sweet. I hope you guys can visit and try the super delicious not so boring burger.

Had to drop a 5-star for the Boring Burger!! hands down the tastiest burger I’ve ever had! The Bored of Brisket Burger is on another level, seriously top-notch. The homemade sauce is killer, everything came out right on time, and the staff are super friendly and welcoming. Can’t recommend it enough!

My family and I visited Guildford for a fun day out and decided to try this “Boring Burger” spot. Despite its name, the food was anything but boring—it was absolutely delicious! My husband ordered a brisket burger, I had the “Boring Burger” with American fries, and our kids enjoyed mini “Boring Burgers,” along with Biscoff and Oreo milkshakes. The burgers were incredibly flavorful and really impressive. My husband, a brisket fan, loved his, and we both shared a bit of each other’s burgers—both were fantastic. The kids thoroughly enjoyed theirs too. The fries didn’t disappoint either. The American fries, jalapeño, cheese, and bacon toppings were spot on, and the bun was super soft and tasty. The milkshakes were also delightful. I highly recommend it and we’re definitely planning to return, worth every penny!!!! —I’m already craving those burgers again!

Perfectly toasted buns, oozing patties, and very generous salad and home made burger sauce(amazingly good) . a burger thats not gonna disappoint you, its exactly the same as it is from their pictures! Superb burger. Definitely one of the best I have had in Britain. The fries were a disappointment though, they appeared to be what was left in the bottom of the basket, lots of small broken bits. Barely an entire French fry in the entire box. The staff could work on being a bit friendlier but the burger was sublime.

The food is amazing but its all let down by the poor quality control on deliveries which ends up ruining it all. I've had extra pattys missing in burgers, bacon on burgers when I've selected no bacon. I've even had whole burgers missing from orders. They really need to sort out the quality control for deliveries. It doesn't matter how good the food is if food is missing or wrong.

First time at Boring Burger today. Very confident menu with a few items but backed up with quality and perfection! Got the Boring Burger and Boring as Cluck (without the bacon options and replaced with what the owner recommended, crispy onions and chipotle sauce). It sure was a banger!! Will definitely be returning. I was leaning more towards the chicken burger as the beef burger lacked flavour from sauces but was still epic! Reminiscent of Bleecker. Highly recommended. Voted for Uber eats awards too.

Amazing shrine to the burger craft. These guys make everything fresh daily, including their incredible tangy fresh dill burger sauce. The gherkins were paper-thin, shredded iceberg for texture. Superb crust on the smashed patties! Fresh rosemary-flecked super crispy fries served in a huge mess tin and bottomless sodas. I had a double and it was fantastic. Up there with the best I've sampled in UK!!

This has to be 'The Best!' burger I have ever had. Everything from the bun that was soft and toasted just right, the boring sauce that works so well with the crispy salty bacon. Then there are the beef patties which are just perfect. Priced just right at £11.50 for the standard boring burger and add an extra patty or bacon for £1.50 each. Fries will be extra at £3 but worth every penny. Much better than Five guys on taste and service. Drinks range for a small place is amazing. £3.50 for as much as you can drink, which is about the same as others but where else can you get Irn-bru, Sunkist and Vimto along with the normal Coke and Sprite? If you are ever in the mood for a great burger you have to try here! (prices at time of writing Sep 2024)

Meticulously made with so much attention to detail this has to be downright the most delicious burger I have come across. I would put this somewhere in the £30+ region if wasn’t served over the counter. If you are into burgers (who isn’t) and in/around Guildford do not miss it. Totally recommended 👌

You can choose any Mediterranean country to try and open this burger house. It will be forced to shut down within a month by the competition. 5 star hygiene rating needs downgrading to a maximum of 2 stars. Not to mention the poor customer service. Raise your standards boring 🍔, you are too new to seem that disinterested in what you do. Ps. Your signature burger is a 6/10 but nobody wants to eat when you make it with your bare hands.

I ate a brisket burger and rosemary garlic chips. 1. Chips tasted like heavy cholesterol never had chips that tasted like they been fried 8 times 2. The burger was extremely average looks amazing u would think it would pack so much flavour but no unfortunately. Also the brisket in the burger tastes like bacci on god

8.5/10 burger, this place is up there with the best now. Came in this afternoon for early dinner as a second try and glad we did as the first time we came was good, but not great. This time was excellent. 👌

Delicious burger and fries for £15 is pretty much standard these days. Only real shame is that it took 20+ minutes for 2 meals to be ready. I saw 3 Deliveroo drivers come in and out, these same to take priority which is a shame when opting to eat in. I did like the burger but might think twice about coming back when having to wait almost 30 minutes for it.
