Chipotle Mexican Grill in Guildford

Didn’t initially realise how they charged me £30 for my 7-year old and I to have lunch. I had asked for a child’s meal for her but they gave her an adult meal which doesn’t come with a few chips & a drink, hence the price. Food was ok but it’s fast food and nothing special. She managed to eat one of the three tacos they served her, understandably as she is only 7.

You know what to expect ! Quick service and good fresh food

The food is fresh and great. However the portion size was ridiculous. The identity of chipotle is big portion size, but the portion was very small. I understand that the pricing will be higher than the us as it’s an american brand, but I at least expected for the portion to be the same. Disappointing

Quality of food is dropping in chipotle. Listing on the stock market has put downward pressure on quality for ever more share price. Shame. When you have meat the Greek round the corner selling much tastier souvlaki and gyros, for a competitive price, I can’t see a situation you’d come back to chipotle.

Ordered for click and collect - order was not ready on time and I was eventually handed a sealed bag with correct name and order on it, drove 45 mins home to find bag contained someone elses food - I'm a vegetarian (ordered a veggie burrito) and the bag contained a chicken quesidilla. Would strongly suggest avoiding the click and collect service / opening the sealed bag they give you before leaving. Am awaiting a refund but will likely have to contact my credit card company for a chargeback as have heard nothing back from Chipotle.

The people here are really kind giving my friend a discount so he could pay for his bus ticket.

My only criticism is no fountain drinks, as they do in the States. Food is as very good. Watch out that the chips are nice and fresh. If they sit for a bit, they soon lose their crispiness.

Really great tasting burrito as I hoped it would be, but I was disappointed with the service I received. I checked with the initial server that my daughter's meal would be free as they had posters advertising this on Mondays and it was confirmed that this was the case. Another lady at the till then charged me full price for everything, and didn't give me a receipt. When I asked her if she meant to charge me £32 for 2 meals she told me that it was my fault as I didn't tell her about the offer and in the small print it says I need to tell her as 'we don't give out food for free.' I then read all of the small print and nowhere did it say this - only then did she apologise but it didn't feel genuine. I don't understand why she didn't just give me the money back and apologise and instead chose to blame me for her mistake. I spoke to the manager before posting this as I prefer to give the place the chance to rectify things before I post a review, but I wasn't particularly satisfied with his response either.

Grabbed a pork burrito. A little expensive but super tasty! Fast efficient service.

Just ordered from deliveroo and I don’t think I’ve ever been so disappointed by a meal, I’ve spent over £50 and received the smallest burritos I’ve ever seen. Basically entirely filled with white rice and 4 pieces of chicken, I’ve added guacamole also at the cost of £4 pounds and perhaps an avocado was rubbed on the tortilla prior to making the burrito ?!?!? Because there was barely any in there. Will never be visiting or using a ‘chipotle’ ever again. Absolutely awful. £6 for a tortilla chips and a tiny cup of guacamole is ridiculous, would prefer to actually be robbed at gun point than in this fashion. Avoid this place like the plague. Absolutely ruined my Sunday. Disgusting. Perhaps the food was rubbed on a chipotle pepper also because there is/was (I’m not finishing this food) absolutely no flavour, I don’t think I could give this food to someone who was actually starving because of how flavourless it is. Do yourself a favour and get something with some flavour… wish tortilla was on deliveroo 😩 Do yourself a favour and just get a pack of uncle bens and a plan tortilla, basically the same thing. Perhaps chipotle thought I had a food allergy to flavour.

IAM vegeterian and had my fav naked burrito with a bit of rice and beans and loads of veggies and guaco with salsa and sauces . Yum and delicious and the staff was a very sweet girl who served and it makes me wanna come back here again as the service is very nice and it looks hygienic and clean atmosphere. I absolutely loved the burrito bowl, i was clueless when i walked in but the staff Madhu and sri recommended this, also their service was top notch, i asked them if they can add spice , they did as per my preference , it was delicious and quantity was good too. definately coming back here again.

The food is bussing. Very flavorful, 100% fresh, very healthy options, both meat and vegetarian. Chips and salsa are good. Burritos are fulfilling, bowels are absolutely the best. Soft and crunchy tacos 🌮 are delicious, organic drinks are the best option drinks that are there. The cleanness of the store is very satisfied. The food is good and The quality of the food is beautiful. Believe my comment, chipotle is the best Mexican restaurant I have ever visited.

Overpriced gross burrito, a crew of typical foreign staff that can barely speak English, totally out of keeping with the town. Avoid and use locally owned cafes instead.

Very tiny portions of food with, teaspoons as others have very well mentioned, accompanied from a ridiculously high price. Not again.

We have visited this place twice now, and both times it has been very good from start to finish. The food is always fresh and tasty and the customer service is excellent. I highly recommend.

I visited this Chipotle with my daughter, who has coeliac disease. We were very pleased to see that the place had a sign, which clearly displayed the allergens in the various food options and also stated that if you told a member of staff you were coeliac, they would wash their hands and change their gloves. This was all very reassuring, as eating out with coeliac disease can sometimes be a challenge. HOWEVER, when we told the member of staff that my daughter had coeliac disease, he didn't seem to understand what this meant. I had to ask if he could change his gloves, as he had been handling burritos for other customers. He also offered my daughter all of the options available, even the ones that contained gluten! He was very nice and friendly, but this is not really the point. If you are advertising your establishment as catering for food allergies, and specifically for people who have coeliac disease and need to eat gluten free, then the staff really need to be trained to understand what this means and especially the importance of avoiding cross-contamination. Having said all of this, the food was delicious and we enjoyed our meals, but there is certainly room for improvement.
