Chipotle Mexican Grill in Guildford

Very tiny portions of food with, teaspoons as others have very well mentioned, accompanied from a ridiculously high price. Not again.

We have visited this place twice now, and both times it has been very good from start to finish. The food is always fresh and tasty and the customer service is excellent. I highly recommend.

I visited this Chipotle with my daughter, who has coeliac disease. We were very pleased to see that the place had a sign, which clearly displayed the allergens in the various food options and also stated that if you told a member of staff you were coeliac, they would wash their hands and change their gloves. This was all very reassuring, as eating out with coeliac disease can sometimes be a challenge. HOWEVER, when we told the member of staff that my daughter had coeliac disease, he didn't seem to understand what this meant. I had to ask if he could change his gloves, as he had been handling burritos for other customers. He also offered my daughter all of the options available, even the ones that contained gluten! He was very nice and friendly, but this is not really the point. If you are advertising your establishment as catering for food allergies, and specifically for people who have coeliac disease and need to eat gluten free, then the staff really need to be trained to understand what this means and especially the importance of avoiding cross-contamination. Having said all of this, the food was delicious and we enjoyed our meals, but there is certainly room for improvement.

So great to finally have this in the UK. Fresh, massive and tasty mexican.

They served me raw chicken, I told them and they hardly took it seriously they just made me a new one. Would never return

The burrito bowl I ordered was beef. Chap was really nice and friendly, but the food itself tasted bland, and too much salt. For the price I paid (£10.50, I had to pay extra for guacamole), it was very disappointing.

Amazing food here. I had a chicken burrito here the other week for lunch while at work. I don’t get long for lunch so I was hesitant to pick, choose then wait. but was in and out in about 5 minutes what was perfect for me! It was so fresh and tasted good. Price was good too. Staff was lovely and just got on with all the busy orders they had. Would definitely go back.

I go to school in America so I was very excited to see a chipotle but was extremely disappointed. The prices are insane, so expensive for the tiniest portions. The food was awful and the bowl was barely half full. I got about three strands of cheese on my bowl but got charged the full. I was shocked at how much they charged me. very disappointing and still very hungry.

By far the freshest Mexican food I've had in London. Great for both my children, who are picky eaters. Lovely team, spotless restaurant!

Good place and kind and well-behaved staff. Went to the high street outlet in Guildford.

Food actually tastes very nice however the burrito with guacamole is around £11 and with one small spoon of protein not worth the money most of it is filler would have liked a lot more of the protein.

Really good food, clean place and lovely service. I accidentally ordered the wrong thing and someone working there overheard me telling my boyfriend - they asked if everything was ok and said it was no problem to have my order re-done free of charge. Was even told to keep the incorrect order anyway which was very kind given it was my fault!

I had a burrito bowl on my first visit. Delicious and filling! Staff is very nice, too. I will definitely have lunch there again. Vegetarian/Vegan/Gluten Free options available!

Having spent 15 yrs in the USA before returning to UK was def missing Chipotle. Have been to the one in London but having one nearby in Guildford is fabulous. Went today - food exactly like those in the States!! A-Mazing!! Will be back very soon!

As an American and a Texan, I'm SOOOOOOO very happy that there's a Chipotle in town! While it may not be "authentic" Mexican food, it's still fantastic and helps me miss The States a bit less. It's a great value for the money as the portions are HUGE (especially with the bowl or burrito) and the food is extremely fresh. I'll be eating here a often as possible. 😂

Been twice in the last two weeks. Quick, delicious, cheap, extremely filling and good portions. Plus all staff are lovely and accommodating to everyone!

Nice place with good options. Vegetarian options are good. Although, the servers really need to speak up as I couldn't hear them well, friendly though. Only 3 starts because there isn't anything that is exceedingly good and they don't take cash which is really inconvenient for a lot of people.

What a place! Greeted with a happy smile, asked tenderly what I would like! Soft rice, squishy beans, a great big selection of meats! Then the salsa - fabulous - I'd recommend the mild. Some cheese and lettuce, and a big thwack of guac! I've been waiting for a place like this to open, and my dreams have come true! I am in a state of permanent ecstasy, and my life has achieved a level of completion incomprehensible to the mortal man.

I placed an order on Uber eats, when my food arrived I was shocked, half full at best. Just pathetic. I love chipotle, and have never experienced this. Shame.
