Plan Burrito in Guildford

Order the Giants burritos. We ordered beef, chicken and veggie. They were delicious and crammed full of a variety of tasty different fillings such as rice and beans. The Burritos were really good value. Ordered the chilli flavoured nachos as well and they were predictably, spicy so good if you like spice! Staff were very friendly and very helpful and service was exceptionally good.

Regularly visit for a quick take out and love everything about this place, i.e. right in the town centre, friendly staff and of course delicious Burritos.

We had a regular burrito meal at £14. The meal deal was very filling. The burrito with pulled beef was excellent. The tortilla chips was ok. The place is quite small but looks clean. I would highly recommend this place. Try it!

This place is my go to when ordering food, 1000x better than chipotle! prices are much more reasonable and the food is way tastier. The caramel smashed beef is unreal, would recommend! I personally wasn’t a fan of the pulled beef brisket, I found it quite dry & parts of it were quite hard but it could’ve just been a batch. Portion sizes are great here, I love their burrito bowls, you get a good amount of whatever you choose.

Honestly this is the best burrito in town!! Hands down, great price, great service especially Ahmed he knows my order from memory and even my voice on the phone. The food is always top notch, fresh, tasty, big portions too. You will not be disappointed

We arrived at the restaurant, it is more of a takeaway joint and really doesn’t warrant a table booking service. We were the only customers apart from one guy serving. The door was open, it was very cold. We were asked to choose a table, they were all dirty and needed wiping. Then a food delivery rider arrived and the attendant sorted their order. Then another rider arrived and the attendant sorted their order. The attendant was nice enough but he was on his own. The food looked good but we never tried it and left to another restaurant. This is a takeaway joint and shouldn’t be on your booking service IMO.

Simple menu, good food, (naked burrito bowl) portion was terrible for the money, pulled brisket beef very little, with some lettuce and tiny amount of cheese added.

My burrito was delicious, flavours well explained by staff member and the best thing I find that the ordering is made simple, no 'would you like a tea spoon of avocado for another £2' which I find unnecessary. I will definitely go again!

I popped into Plan Burrito for lunch not long after they opened. Restaurant isn't particularly big inside and is mainly setup for pickup and go orders, although there is limited seating available should you want to eat in. For lack of a better explanation, ordering works in a build-your-own style similar to somewhere like Subway, in that you choose your item, protein, and other fillings and sauces as you go. I went for a regular barbacoa beef burrito meal deal which comes with nachos and dip, as well as a bottle of Mexican soda with a number of flavours available. In total this cost approximately £13, which was actually fair value for what I had. The burrito itself was enjoyable, generously sized and packed with filling. Although the nachos were fine they don't come with any any cheese, melted or otherwise and so most would consider this simply a bag of tortilla chips, though I consider this a minor gripe and just something to be aware of. The 'Jarritos' Mexican soda wasn't bad either as a novelty alternative to more established brands such as Coca-Cola, Fanta, etc. I have returned a further couple of times since my initial visit and the experience has been pretty consistent, which is good. Overall this place definitely deserves a decent rating and is most certainly worthwhile checking out.

The burritos are good, meat is very flavourful but the rice and other fillings are a bit bland. I think the servers could mention deals if you were buying a burrito and a drink. Lastly, it isn't clear if there is a bathroom but it would be useful to wash hands, or at least provide hand wipes.

Just thought I give it try , went with my son who is very fussy , we both absolutely enjoyed it , I had a really big burrito which was humongous! I had it all caps wits very tasty , good quality! Definitely be back and the staff were very friendly and nice !

Not to be horrible but going to really really struggle to compete against the 2 chains that are superior in every way. Rice was lovely but that is where it stops. Chicken lacking flavour, they put their home made guacamole in a bottle as it has a sauce consistency - shameful. Tortilla down the road has better chicken, better taste and much larger variety for a start Chipotle is coming to Guildford very soon and I really fear for both chains in all honesty - the absolute king of mexican food.

Been waiting for this place to open for a while and finally walked past. Was looking at the menu outside when one of the lovely gentlemen offered us some free samples. All of them were delicious but the caramel smashed beef was 11/10. Will definitely be going back there regularly

Decided on an impromptu dinner at the newly opened Plan Burrito in Market St, Guildford this late afternoon and absolutely loved my caramel smashed beef burrito!! The burrito was just the right thickness - enough to hold the contents in, but thin enough that you weren't eating just burrito with a bit of filling. What we had was lots of filling and boy was it tasty!! That sweet aromatic flavours of the caramel smashed beef hit the spot in my taste buds. Pleasantly surprised with how filled my regular sized burrito was. Will be back to try the chicken tinga...and also the pulled beef...and maybe have the caramel smashed beef again, and again... I have such a happy mouth and belly right now!! The grapefruit Jarritos was perfectly refreshing on this sunny afternoon too!!!

I have heard about it thru other people's reviews on here. I had to pop in. The staff looked very professional, presentable, and happily eager to serve us, and they were very courteous, and friendly as well. My husband and I ordered the grilled steak burritos, a soda, and Tachos at the front counter. We got to our table.I really liked the ambience of the dining area, it's a huge place and perfect to bring family and friends for a great time and even on weekends this place would be a hit! As I ate my burrito, I noticed a big difference in food quality, the steak was of high quality than what you would have at other regular Mexican restaurants, they had their own unique seasoning that I very much enjoyed on this steak. The toppings were just as fresh and delicious,! The employee checked on us a couple times as well, which was nice. We felt taken care of here. This was well worth the price! I was satisfied with everything and they got our order correct. Overall I would give this place 5/5. They deserve so much more recognition and business, they are unique and one of a kind hidden gem. Highly recommend!
