Fish barely warm Veggie food stone cold (having been cooked to order!) Chips nothing to write home about but not inedible Overpriced, cash only, there is an ATM close by but no facility for Apple Pay. Don’t waste your money.

Probably the worst service and food I've experienced. When asking the staff the clean and clear the table, we were greeted by huff and the look that it "was my job? " Plates were cleared, but table not wiped so asked another member of staff the do it. Begrudgingly she partially wipes the table. Coffee and cake arrived, I had a coffee and walnut cake and my wife a honey comb cake. Both were very dry, my walnut cake fell to bits when I touched it with fork, it was that stale. Certainly won't go there again.

If you like the old style pub with lots of friendly faces then this is the place. Great dart boards and a nice smoking area... landlord and landlady are very helpfull for surrounding areas .... great place for a cheeky pint before going out for the night.

Update- we thought we would give this place another try a few years later. Ordered a munchy box along with other dishes. £18 for just the box was small, cold and tasteless. I called to raise my concerns and reply was I will let the kitchen know and hung up. 100% will not be back again Place has gone down hill!!! Curry was so spicy could not eat. Duck dish was very small and over cooked. Got my prawn order wrong. Called up to correct order was told it was my fault when it was not. Customer service was awful. They agreed to send out a new dish did not show up. Won't be going back again now. Prices have gone up loads as well

Such a shame! Refurb seemed to be paint, new carpet (yuk) and tarted up beer garden. Two staff behind the bar on a Bank Holiday weekend? Staff were run stupid and moving about the place, complaining how under-staffed they were and how embarrassing it was because of the messy tables. Stop complaining and get on with it then. Dirty tables, food all over the floor and sub-standard food. Too many customers waiting to be served….. £1m refit?????? Should have spent less and employed more staff. Considering nearly all Gosport pubs have shut down, Wetherspoons should be on point 100%….

First and last time getting a takeaway from here. Pancake roll thick in greasy batter and when cut through grease oozed out. Roughly one forkful of meat from each BBQ rib. Please avoid

The new cottage loaf have been doing a marvellous job delivering their delicious bread etc during the pandemic, remember to support local businesses!!

Lovely Chinese food always good and ran by nice people

Good was quick and hot and service was good, however disappointing that there wasn't any hot drink options nor were there any ice cream or Krushem availability.

Marked as delivered at 8pm but no delivery till 9pm no updates wont use again . I going to dominoes thanks

Amazing customer service sub was wrong and the guy from lee on Solent subway went above and beyond to get my daughter the correct sandwich and a little cookie as a sorry was a lovely little touch you have made my daughters day thank you so much for your excellent customer service and care 10star subway :)

We popped in for hot drinks as we were staying at the premier Inn next door. The service was poor, the drive through definitely gets preferential service which is not good for customers walking in to get served. We ordered a festive coffee & a hot chocolate. Drinks were nice enough but the service just put us off the whole place. It didn't look like the tables had been wiped over all day as sticky and dirty. We decided to take our drinks back to the hotel as they were served in takeaway cups anyway. Don't think we will go back
