Awful food, was greasy, chips were cold, sweet and sour chicken ball tasted weird and slimy, sweet and sour sauce leaked everywhere do not recommend

I ordered a house special chop suey which should consist of pork, beef, chicken and prawn. When infact it only consisted of thin strips of chicken and 3 prawns, also the prawn toast has shrunk in size and looked as though one had been eaten in half. This is the first time that I've been disappointed with this restaurant and I know times are hard but cutting out the ingredients isn't the way to go. Please do better for your customers or we will go elsewhere

shocking service tonight but understand its a busy night. If you say a further 10 mins after waiting 1hr 15 then make it 10 mins not a further 50mins.

Always get great food from Hois, the curry is a little hotter than a usual Chinese curry but we love that! Never had a bad take out from them!

Absolutely my go to chinese on a friday night. Lovely food is always hot and great portions. And the delivery lady is so polite and pleasant and always has smile. Highly recommend give them a go!

Everything was excellent well cooked not over salted except the way the chips and curry sauce combo arrived. Where it was in a sealed plastic container the curry sauce and condensation made the chips soggy. Buying them separately next time problem solved. Great meal thank you

Sadly food was not up to the usual standard, was cold, only 8 chicken balls when it should have been 10, same 8 mini spring rolls, usually get at least 10.

Never received our order!! Couldn’t understand what I was saying on the phone. Just told me that the driver was out. But the app said it’s been delivered?? Unacceptable!!

Food eventually arrived and no surprise all of it was cold when it actually did turn up. Been a long term customer for years. No more.

Been using this takeaway for a long time and always had good food, good service. However on last 2 occasions of ordering a Singapore chow mein, there has been more noodles and beansprouts than anything else! Only had 7 prawns and 4 pieces or pork in last one so was quite disappointed even though it still tasted delicious. Will try again to give benefit of the doubt.

Love Hoi food, ordered from them by accident last year for a games night the 6 of us couldn’t get enough! Now we all order from them.

Have ordered from here many times over the years & always enjoyed their food until this weekend. There's no longer free delivery, prices have increased considerably (our bill increased by a third!), the curry sauce has been watered down & there's less chicken (satay skewers). When we asked about the increased cost, the response was limited to "new menu". We'll certainly not order from them again.

Been ordering from here for a long time through just eat and have been very happy with the food and service. Unfortunately tonight the restaurant cancelled my order after took over 18 quid out of my account which will now take 14 days to be replaced. the after the app

Been there twice this month as I stopped using this place due to the poor food and not listening to orders properly First time I went, a woman order about £60 of food, then I stepped to the counter yo make my order for 1 meal and as I start telling her my order she just picks up the phone and takes another food order for another £60 so I just left, no point waiting for that Then last week popped in with my friend as we were late for going out that evening, asked for 2 curries with NO ONIONS as he has an allergy, thought it would be easy if I asked for both to be onion free Got home his had almost a whole onion in it so getting orders wrong hasnt changed much at all here Pic attached was a beef curry with no onion due to allergy

Possibly the worst Chinese food I have ever eaten. I had sweet and sour chicken and the sauce smelt wrong straight out of the bag. A bland pancake roll which was filled with nothing but watery bean shoots. Not good!

This is our go to place for takeaway. It’s good to see your food being cooked so you know it’s fresh. We usually get about 6 dishes between us. Portions are good and we always enjoy what we have.

Had chicken chow mein and it was lovely. Also came in reusable plastic tub so kept that.

Last night we had a chinese and ordered 3 curry’s one which was a plain one when our order arrived there was only 2 curry’s both plain we rung up and tbh found the language barrier hard to understand trying to explain the problem, we asked for 2 curry’s and for them to take back one plain one when the order arrived there was only one curry and a rice which we didn’t want as we had rice from the original order...Will not be using again

I've been using Hoi's for a few years now, I think it's the best Chinese takeaway in Gosport, and I've tried most of them! The food reminds me of what Kam Too used to be like about ten years ago. My personal favourite dish is the Chicken Curry, but some people that have tried it say it is too spicy (but that's just what I like). I have tried several dishes from here and nothing has ever been disappointing. They have an open kitchen as well so you can see your food being cooked. I don't use the delivery service as I live nearby. Try it out, I doubt you'll be disappointed!

Ordered and was advised 45 mins to 1 hour delivery. Food turned up after 1 hour 20 mins and was stone cold!

Food arrived, 2 hours after placing the order, cold, salt and chilli squid was far, far, far too salty, crispy chilli beef?? no, soft, chewy beef. Delivery driver was more cheesed off than I was!!!! Asked for a partial refund, to be told, 'I no understand you' and phone put down. The worst, I mean, THE worst food, customer service and service I have ever thrown my hard earned money at. Give this rip off take away a very, very wide berth. Most of the food in the bin now. Ruined my Saturday evening. Disgusting!!!!!!!!!!!!

My favourite take away for 20 years. I now live in Australia, came back recently and it's been taken over, the food was still Gt but I can't remember the new name?...I want to make contact so that I can ask for two recipes, one being the BBQ sauce...anyone help?
