Ordered bbq ribs couldn't even taste the bbq flour through the salt How much salt did you use taste your food before sending it out.

The rice was nice and chow mein, but the chicken balls were very dark , hard and crispy crunchy.. the chips were not nice, they actually looked dried out and reheated :( I have used this chinese for a long time, and can say that, they are normally very tasty.

Overcooked chicken, overcooked rice and a ‘hot’ curry without any flavour - a real shame.

The main meal was too much rice and noodles and not enough chicken. The chicken balls : chicken was not tender enough. The sweet and sour sauce was good and the prawn crackers ditto.

Spent £60 and could only eat half of it as mostly inedible! Chicken balls, ribs, chips, chow-mein, tasted bad.

Just was later then it could have been the quality of the food was not great and it was not enjoyable only had to eat because time it for here it was so late at night!

Although food arrived hot, in time & with good size portions, the individual dishes weren’t as expected. Main dish of duck with cashew nuts, the sauce was red & more like jelly, very little cashews & many onions but a good amount of duck. Spring roll was just bean-shoots in batter. Not a favourite nor the worst I’ve had.

For £2 I couldn’t be bothered to make a fuss about it but I was disappointed not to get the prawn crackers I ordered. Apart from that food arrived super early and was fab!

Salt and pepper chips are the best !!! Massive bag for the price. Always lovely 10/10

Salt and chilli chips are amazing and the sweet and sour Hong Kong style chicken good portion sizes 100% reccomed.

Disgusting customer service. The duck came with mostly fat and a large bone, barely enough for 3 pancakes let alone 6! we phoned to discuss and the owner was so rude! I was so disgusted with her attitude! She argued with me and said I was one of those customers. Absolutely outraged will definitely not be ordering from here again. Food was poor, cold and too salty.

First and last time trying this place. I wish we had listened to the reviews of it. The food was appalling. We couldn't eat it at all. 3 meals wasted.

Excellent chicken curry fried rice loads plus chips 2x spring rolls prawn crackers all for under £14 great service Maggie is a workhorse Thankyou.

It arrived very quickly?! It was not the same as usual though. I thought i would treat myself as haven't had one for a while. The chips were not hot or fresh.. looked reheated .. the fried rice was a stodgy clump.. the chicken balls.. the batter was so dark and crispy, i used a knife and fork as my teeth couldn't manage them. I have always had a lovely meal from here..! so i am not sure what happened this time :(

Food was great; hot and tasty. But I got the wrong soft drink when I'd paid for lemonade.

Over half an hour late and then the food was cold

samosas were like pancakes a nd satay sauce was more like lemon. was no pe ut flavour at all.

loved our meal tonight .we tried the malaysian chicken curry and rice and it was nice and spicey just how we like our food... contact was great and meal arrived within timeslot.

Ordered here a couple of times now. The curry is very tasty. The ribs can be hit and miss depending on the rib quality you get in the tub I guess . The salt and chilli chips are also lovely.

Order took long delivery was late said delivered when it wasn’t still then took 15 minutes after that. Food tasted horrendous sweet and sour sauce tasted off didn’t end up eating after a few bites! So disappointed normally the one to go to. Not any more!

Despite pre-ordering before opening time, our order was 45minutes late. I understand there were issues with delivery drivers. Sadly not only was the food late but it was also missing some items. I phoned and the order was resent. Unfortunately, the quality of food was not great. The portion sizes were very small, even those that were ordered as large. The chilli, salt & pepper items were tasteless. The duck pancakes did not come with any cucumber or spring onions, so were just a small, very greasy amount of duck with some hoisin sauce. Overall, not a great experience and we won't be returning.

Absolutely awful food, ignored delivery instructions that I wrote for a specific reason, not for the dilly dally fun of it, food was tasteless and had almost no meat in the Beef Chicken and Duck dishes. Do not recommend.

The texture of the chicken was very odd, as if it wasn’t fully cooked. Maybe frozen? Definitely not a “local legend”

Lovely food, very generous portions and well priced. Delivery is also always quick. Have ordered from here a few times now and never disappointed!

Salt and pepper chicken is always a 10/10 but today i decided to try the salt and pepper chicken and it was rank !!! avoid!!! it is definitely not deep fried it’s soaking wet and the chicken is hard lumps. it’s not your normal small crispy salt and pepper chicken it’s large soggy strips. not for me

Cold and not very nice at all we used to order a lot from here but unfortunately won’t be back now was not worth money and most of it went in the bin

I ordered Aromatic duck. A little fatter could've had a bit more meat for the price, but the flavour was very nice. As they were not busy collection could've been quicker.

Food was tremendous and delivery very friendly.

Maggie’s kitchen is without a doubt the only Chinese takeaway in the area we return to again and again. They’re tasty, clean and efficient! What more could you want? Definitely recommend the house special chow mein.

Driver was very rude shouting down the phone because no one’s heard the door saying he was in the rain when there was cover over where he was didn’t think this was an appropriate way to address the situation he would of said Nicely he was here

2 dishes missing and all freezing cold, when you spend £88 you expect it to be half decent for the price.

was late but expected that as it is Christmas eve, I phoned and the lady on the phone was very polite and apologised. even tho it was late was hot and tasty just a super busy night for all.

Ordered the food at 19.05 and it said the food was going to be with us by 20.00 which was fine. 19.25 there's a knock at the door and food is already here! Amazing delivery time and the food was so hot and fresh. All the dishes had a good amount of meat in them. Very impressed with the service and will definitely order again. 10/10

Received message from restaurant saying: The restaurant isn't going to give you any money back for your delayed order. They say: "We're really sorry your order wasn't delivered on time. We hope you enjoyed your food." The food hadn’t even arrived. A more honest message of it will arrive in 10 minutes would have been better! Pre warning that the yellow bean sauce has a spicy kick would be nice as yellow bean isn’t typically spicy and it was for children. Duck rolls very greasy. The prawn toast, rice and crackers were as good as anywhere.

Order from here regularly whether it be from just eat or in store. Food is always amazing and it’s always delivered on time.

Only half the order turned up to start with. Part of a meal was missing and when I asked for the whole thing to be re-sent it seemed like I was putting the restaurant out. They did however cook fresh. so then had to wait another half an hour for the rest of the food to arrive by which time the earlier delivered stuff was cold. Really bad customer service, especially as I’m a long time customer for over 4 years, very disappointed.

Lovely food very tasty great portions value for money delivery on time only thing I would say not very hot but it won't be in plastic tubs but all in all a lovely meal 👍

Waited nearly 2 hours. I understand it was a a Friday night but if you’re that busy and lacking drivers you should stop taking orders until you’re caught up. I had to go and collect my own order in the end.

Usually love Maggies but tonight’s wasn’t their best! Duck was incredibly fatty and lacking in quantity, ribs were lacking meat, bbq sauce was tasteless and the order was 25mins early which meant we weren’t ready. Maggies, you’re way better than this

The delivery was late and the chicken chow mean had another meat in it and prawns. We have never had prawns in a chicken chow mean before. The food was very luke warm

Think there was something wrong with the chicken if It was chicken, And chips were tasteless they did how ever chop chilli's up at my request in curry sauce for me not very tasty chicken balls or the chips

Always order from here normally excellent but filled with onions and shredded beef was cold and chewy no chicken in the chicken chow mein and not chowmein noodles either x but will still order again xx

The chilli chips are just smothered in garlic salt, no chillis or spring onion etc Food was nice but we couldn’t eat the chips .

Food wasn't as hot as I expected. Rice was bland tasting and not great.

Sweet and sour chicken was chewy and dry not at all what I was expecting not a good experience and won't be ordering from there again !
