Never order their delivery! Had a tom yum soup delivered through uber eats and I can’t even taste my food. 0 stars. Useless delivery packaging cannot even hold soup properly. I waited for an hour for my tom yum noodle soup and there was a huge hole under the paper like container. Everything spilled everywhere. I had to use a bunch of plastic bags to not make a further mess. There was no soup left, so I only had a bunch of veg, prawns and dry noodles left. The soup went on my porch, my floor, and even my clothing. At least, I had fried squid, even though it tasted so boring with mostly batter and the sauce did not even match. As an asian, I have had thai food almost my whole life and this is probably one of my worst experiences. I was already having a busy horrible day and I couldn’t even have a good takeaway lunch I was looking forward to. The pad thai for my partner was also bland and too dry. It wasn’t even cheap. I should’ve have picked something else but I gave this restaurant a try.

Xmas dinner for £80. Starter fair desert good. Main Xmas dinner very poor. Soggy overcooked sprouts. No stuffing. Tasteless turkey breast joint. Bisto or similar beef gravy. Cheap pigs in blankets. They could not even be bothered to make gravy from the juices or even buy the turkey gravy from waitrose. Understaffed so slow service. I would have been embarrassed to serve such shoddy fair for someones Xmas dinner. Clearly the cook, def not a chef, did not care and the lack of love showed.

Food not delivered and I'm out £25. I phoned the restaurant and he said it was not their problem. I get it but I have ordered many times before and I like the food. Uber Eats would not deal with my complaint and kept cutting me off. The driver didn't respond outside of saying he was here (clearly wasn't and I even went outside). Biggest pity is that the restaurant didn't step up

We ordered our food at 22:40 ish, received confirmation that it had been accepted and would arrive in about 15 minutes. Thought that sounded too good to be true... An hour and a half later, after multiple attempts to call the restaurant and the delivery drivers (we had 4 of them, 3 of them dropped out without any attempts at contacting us), I receive a phone call in very broken English that the driver is outside. He was outside the restaurant. They'd closed. He thought my number was the one for the restaurant, and no one had tried to contact him. They couldn't be bothered to make sure the food got to us, or to inform the delivery drivers that they were closing. They simply accepted the order and then shut. I've put my complaint through on ubereats, but for anyone out there wanting a decent takeaway - this is not the place. The food is actually nice. But it's likely you'll never see the food you've actually paid for.

We changed from our regular Chinese we had been going to for years after it went downhill. We firstly tried a few others, one not far from China spice and 2 more in the area, the one not far from China spice , 5 was probably the worst Chinese we’ve ever had, greasy and every dish was very very sweet, almost inedible. Thank goodness we persevered and tried China spice, we have ordered 5 times now and has been on point every single time, always fresh and steaming hot. Not at all greasy and sits well in your tummy without the horrid feeling you get after the overload of msg, salt and sugar and grease you get from a lot of other Chinese establishments, also to add the owner is very friendly and accommodating, a really nice guy 👌

As it's practically opposite where I live, I come in here a lot & I have to say, the staff are lovely, but this place is a dump! It's in dire need of a refurb and half the seats ar ripped. The ice machine has been broken for weeks, the air-con is deafening, one of the food chillers is busted, the lavatories have seen better days, it's chronically overcrowded with way too many tables put out, the power sockets are almost unreachable, the piped music is truly diabolical and hasn't changed in months and the Internet connection in there is easily the worst I've used in any public place. Everybody complains about it as it's, almost unusable even when the place is practically empty. It's impossible to watch a YT video at over 360p without constant buffering & the connection times you out every hour or so (often less) necessitating constant opening of browsers to log back in again. It's a joke. It's bad enough that Pret's have nobbled the subscription, but I'm getting the impression they're running everything on a shoestring & obsessing over margins rather than providing quality products with decent service. Do yourself a favour & go to another coffee shop. It's not as if there's no choice out there, afterall.

It's ok for a stop gap while shopping but still needs a new décor and other toilet
