Sam's Kebabs in Epsom and Ewell

This used to be fantastic, but in the last two weeks standards have fallen. Chicken shish is tough and dry , less meat than before , pitta bread and wrap is hard and often quite inedible. Up until recently I couldn’t fault them so I’m guessing somethings gone wrong.

I was looking for Sam's Kebab's number to order lunch and saw some 1-star reviews that just aren't fair. I've never had a bad meal from Sam's Kebab. The food is always fresh, and the lunch deals are fantastic. The service is friendly, and they consistently deliver quality. I felt compelled to defend them because they truly deserve more recognition. See you guys in 20 minutes for another delicious meal!

Takeaway, specifically asked for NO spice on meat, as have an allergy, they DIDN’T listen. I repeated plain cooked lamb. So I couldn’t eat it. Total waste of around £16.00, no refund, I had the meal ready to return as proof, got a stupid voucher for £8.00 Why bother when they are so disinterested in your request, I wouldn’t want to reorder as it will happen again. Major disappointment, silly girls on the call, not listening. Manager away from site as Ramadan, happy to take my order though, but no apology. Disgusting

DON’T BOTHER with this place Ordered last night and specifically said NO SPICE, PLAIN LAMB KEBAB Due to food sensitivity/intolerance They didn’t answer my calls back Called Cheam, apparently different owners??? But on same website Called today, APPARENTLY ALL LAMB IS WITH SPICE MARINADE, WHY DIDN’T THE ORDERER KNOW THAT!!! NO REFUND, I PAID CASH ONLY CREDIT due back,. Why would I bother with them again? Disgusting Owner off because it’s Ramadan, so what? They have my money. DEAL with it Food not fit for purpose , BLATANT DISRESPECT of allergens. Not educating their staff HOW CAN THEY ONLY GIVE A CREDIT WHEN ITS THEIR MISTAKE!!!! Angry customer

The food was really tasty and very generous portions, we had reheat it as it was cold, threw the chips away as they were freezing as it took an hour and half to arrive. Sorry Sam’s lovely food but having to reheat a take away and an hour and half to deliver is not really acceptable. Will definately keep coming back to you but for this time I feel let down.

Quick fast service staff are friendly

The food is fantastic but Sam's affiliation with Uber eats lets them down. Food arrived very late and had dried out under heat lamps. Sam's were indifferent about the situation which was disappointing.

Couldn’t even get a simple side order right, cheesy pitta with no salad ,I got Salad and a box of uncooked grated cheese, other items were also missing from main food waste of money

I ordered cheesy chips the amount of cheese that had been thrown on top. Not even melted. Staff were rude! Had their hoods up. Wouldn’t go here again.

Always happy with the great fresh food from Sam’s! Doner is meaty and fresh, whilst the Shish tender and juicy! Rare occasion today they forgot our salad with the order, however a quick phone call explaining and within minutes we had our missing part of the dish, as well as a complimentary baklava! Keep up the great work, only reliable and consistent takeaway in Epsom! Great to be able to avoid all of the delivery apps by ordering direct too!

I used to come here a lot. The chips and salad is nice however the fish is frozen already battered fish and is tasteless. The place never looks busy and the food is very disappointing and poor standard. I haven’t been in here since the poor quality fish and chips. I don’t know how this place survives to be honest.

We pre ordered our delivery which came on the exact time. Meat was hot and tasty, the salad was cold and fresh. Honestly one of the best kebabs we have had. Highly recommend. I would have added photos but we started eating it too fast.

Last 2 deliveries from Sam's were lacking, one kebab actually rattled in the poly container as was delivered. I went today in person to see if was a delivery thing. No. Portions are minimal to say the least. I asked for all salad options. I found a sliver of tomato and cucumber, I guess just to prove you added those ingredients. The food was average/poor. Quantity was very poor. Overall rating 2/10 won't use again. 3 strikes, you are out. Shame used to be good.

Great food, I had a takeaway today for me and team. We all enjoyed the food. I made my order over the phone, they been very polite and helpful. The food we had big portions very tasty. Great value for money. So far my favourite place for kebab.

This is my absolute favourite takeaway place. I order food for my work team. The food is always fantastic and no matter what I order I am always delighted with my meal! Service are also great and always efficient face to face and over the phone, happy and polite. Can’t wait to order again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to order a takeaway.

After 15 years of good service, waiting 1 hour 20 mins for food, when ordered at 5.20pm.The food turned up cold, don’t bother with them, online orders have taken over, with the loss of long term customers.

Claims to be open on Uber Eats, yet every single Item has been marked as, Currently available'. Uber has also been contacted. Hope this false advertisement is remedied soon.

Used to be my kebab of choice but lately the quality isn't as good as it was. The portions have reduced and all special offers removed. There are better options available in Epsom. I gave it 3 stars more on history than recent experiences.

DO NOT ORDER AT ALL COST. Me and my husband and our 3 kids ordered from here for the 1st time. Order was completely wrong. Meat in the burgers was under cook. Which is an understatement. Kebab meat was very comical teast to it. Now my kids husband and myself are being sick. We are all fighting over the loo.

1st time ordering and wow what a waste of money . Order was late asked for garlic mayo got mint yogurt and was everywhere ie in the bag on the boxes not even on the actual food lol and the taste was vile . The chips where cold and hard and the burgers where under cooked that they where still pink in the middle and frozen still . The kebabs had a taste like flash cleaner and after a few bites my son and wife where vomiting . The pita was hard as a rock that you could brake glass and tasted so bad . I Phoned then up and the staff where so rude and put the phone down on me 3 times . AVOID AVOID AVOID this place at all costs a poundland microwave kebab would taste better

Lamb kebab and chips ordered. The lamb was inedible and was thrown away. Rang the restaurant to let them know how awful it was - I didn’t want a replacement and apologies given but no refund offered. This was terrible and I won’t use them again. Too poor to give even 1 star.

HORRIBLE DRY MEAT SOAKED IN CHILLY SAUCE AND STALE BREAD. THEY DID NOT GIVE THE SAUCE IN A SEPARATE CONTAINER WE ORDERED BEETROOT SALAD AN DID NOT RECEIVE ANYTHING. We ordered a mixed Kebab meal from them last night in my order I selected a Beetroot salad and Chilly sauce what I got was this dry meat and stale bread and a green lettuce salad with hardly any beetroot when I called them a lady answered the phone and when I kindly explained to her the problem we have with our order she said that I need to stay on the phone and when she returned she said what do I want them to do that is how the food is served. I am shocked at the poor customer service we payed almost £10 for this rubbish and we threw half of it away.

We have been ordering from here for quite a while now, BUT NOT NO MORE..... 2nd to last order...was an hour late, food arrived so cold, we couldn’t eat it... Last order was 2 hours late, when we called the shop we kept being told food was on its way... Delivery driver expected us to walk up and down the road to find him...he wasn’t even in our road....food didn’t even arrive in the end, he just went back to the shop... Customer service is an absolute joke... But so quick to take your money, then they tell you we can’t reimburse you as you paid by card, then still except you to pay next time you order....this is by far the worst takeaway I’ve ever ordered from... if your looking for a 10/10 kebab, delivered on time for very reasonable money....Epsom Grill is the place...trust me...5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Epsom Grill

We have ordered from Sams for many years however the last 2 occasions despite ordering our food for 9pm and 8.55pm it has been half an hour late each time. When we have called up we have been told twice that there was a note on there stating we have requested a different time. I would love to know how they received that we asked for a different time when we ordered through their website. However each time it has arrived there is a non specified time on the receipt. Sorry to say but we will no longer be ordering. If there is a delay on the food as you are busy just be honest and say don't pretend the customer has stated a different time than what they stated on their website.

When I lived outside their delivery area I used to drive over to Epsom just for their kebabs. Now I live really close to the shop we get them delivered once or twice a month. They are the nicest kebabs I have ever had. I don’t eat donor, the shish and kofta etc are really good. And if you order a certain amount there is no charge for delivery or using a card etc. And unlike a certain golden arch outlet who never ever ever get an order right... Sam’s never ever get an order wrong.

Had to reheat all of our food when it got delivered to us, which incidentally took over 2 hours to arrive and after 2 reminder phone calls. Not exactly far away either!!! Staff was sympathetic but that does not make up for the shoddy service and cold food. This is not the first time either. Never again

Not from these parts but we had a shish, a donner 2 lamb donner wraps and a chicken burger. Very impressed. Fresh, nicely presented and fresh mint and parsley gave it a great taste. If I had to find a negative it would have been the amount of garlic mayonnaise they put on my daughters chicken burger which was a bit much. All in all I would go again. Thankyou.

Was ok but you dont get salad with your kebab meat and chips have to order it extra, not good service very slow had to wait 30 minutes after I paid to get my food, wont be returning there again

We decided to try a different kebab shop for a change, and had a menu for thought are letter box a few weeks ago, we found it a very enjoyable experience, from the person who answered the phone to the delivery driver, but the best part of all was the food is was absolutely gorgeous ,well cooked still hot the best we have had for a long long time,I would recommend them to everyone, thank you Sam's.

OMG the fish was frozen, it was like you cook at home and was dry and crusty, the chips and salad is always good, however this is rubbish for £5.40. It made me feel ill, 2 men came in after me and got there food before me too. Not very impressed

I wouldn't normally review such a place - but the meat for the lamb shish I had was amazing. It was shame they weren't busier (on a Friday) as I would have preferred a doner, but the lamb meat is amongst the best I have had anywhere

It doesn't look much from the outside but WOW they do a good Lamb Shish. The salad is fresh, the meat always soft and tasty. I never have or need a sauce as i find it to be so yummy without. You must try!

I phoned sam's to make an order, asked gentleman for a meal deal and was told there are no meals! Only individual items. I asked for 1/2 pounder chicken burger, chips and can of coke. I WAS CHARGED £9.10 for this cliché meal. He thought he was working for steak & lobster. When I looked with disgust, and asked him to repeat the price.. he said £9.10 to confirm that was not a joke/prank. I would advise nobody to eat from this rip off chicken spot.

Staff is rude and dirty. Saw them pick up food from the floor and tried to pretend it did not happen. Quickly chucked it when they realised I saw.

Go here you won't be disappointed they are very helpful and friendly. The food is always freshly cooked and hot. The chips are the best I've had from the local takeaways.

Sam's es el lugar para conseguir un kebab en Epsom. Los chicos que trabaja allí es muy agradable y amable, y el servicio es fantástico. Las alternativas vegetarianas eran (kebab de ensalada con houmous) es enorme y muy abundante, y agradable y apasionada con salsa chili. Los ingredientes son siempre frescos y sabrosos. También hay un par de mesas con sillas dentro si te apetece comer en.

This is not your average kebab shop. The food quality is great and their wraps are to die for. The shop looks very clean and the staff are really friendly. This will now be my regular source of fodder!!!
