Went in here for the first time for a valentines drink with my husband. Really lovely pub with a great atmosphere . I have to mention the lady who served us - very amusing and even brought a smile to semi grumpy hubby!! Think her name was Ellie. It’s good to be able to comment when your experience is a good one. Great pub and food. Staff were great especially Ellie behind the bar.

The downside is you spend all afternoon/early evening eating and drinking to suddenly be told the table is booked from a certain time! On questioning bar staff it's booked online for an amount of people so they choose a table to accommodate however they will find another table for us to move to!! So why can't that table be allocated to those that have not turned up yet, not spent a penny and may not do either! Apart from that great food, atmosphere and staff. So if you want to spend day/evening in there book your table to make sure you're not outed !!!

Me, my husband and daughter visited whilst on holiday, the service and staff were amazing, with special recognition for Siobhan who was very patient with my daughter whilst she ordered her own food !! Would highly recommend to other mums !!

Came in with my friend, Sandra, in a wheelchair and it was so easy with the amazing help of Siobhan. Could not recommend more, especially when Siobhan is on shift as she made the most luscious glass of Pinot just how I like it.

Xmas lunch for 35 of us! Varied menu to suit all dietary requirments. The food was absolutely delicious, large portions. All the staff made sure we were well looked after and made us feel very welcome. I will be returning again next year and would recommend.

Good food but very expensive. The pub features are beautiful with lots of wood but it's extremely cold and drafty. The food was tasty but rather pricey.

One of my favourite places to visit. Has recently been refurbished and looks all new! Good beer selection with a rotation of craft beers. Has always been busy when I've been there so clearly popular. Food good pub fare.

Popped in on off chance and happily landed on our feet. Served by 2 barmaids,gentile friendly service from one and blunt direct from other. All good, service with a smile throughout. Not a huge choice of dishes but what we had was very good,very flavorsome and plentiful... Prices good,alcohol pricey though. Recommended . Was quiet in numbers but a small vocal group with kids made up for it with noise and atmosphere!.

What a find! Chose this as could take the dog. Arrived 30 min before kitchen closed so didn’t expect much but was very surprised to be presented with excellent food that was obviously cooked by a top quality chef. We had a selection of dishes including a pork Sunday roast, hake, cheeseburger and one of their trio dishes of haloumi, wings and squid. All meals were excellent, very flavourful and perfectly cooked. £80 for four meals and drinks - absolute bargain. Friendly staff, great atmosphere and lovely traditional pub furnishings. Very pleasantly surprised and would not hesitate to recommend. Well done to The Marquis of Granby in Epsom - a fabulous example of how it should be done.

What a find! Chose because could take our dog with us but was not expecting such amazing food. Had multiple different dishes off the menu (pork belly Sunday lunch, hake, chicken, cheese burger) and everything was cooked to perfection. I went with my friend for lunch and sat out the back. We ordered some small plates I believe 6, in fact, and every single one was fabulous. My friend loved it. I've put it in my contacts for eating places.

…Not even worth reviewing. I will never visit this place again, unless under new management. Zero service, zero welcome. Low grade cuisine. Not restored. I’m referring to a manager, who did not only have a dignity to be at least a bit happy for a foreign guest, but had a courage to disgrace the whole area of Epsom with this attitude.

Beautiful old building, plethora of delectable drinks, and wonderful kind staff. The girl who served me, Leah, went above and beyond to ensure my dietary requirements were accommodated.
