I didn't like the decoration but the service was perfect

The cafe is always clean and the staff are very attentive. They always go the extra mile to make sure that customers have a satisfactory service. Ewell is our favourite branch.

I ordered the advertised breakfast deal £4.99; however, it was coming up £6.99 at the till. The assistant called the manager, he said its what's showing on the till. I pointed to him the advert above his head, he told me nothing he can do about it coz it's what the till says! And he was the manager! Just like the Horizon vs Post Office! Will never go back there again!

Costa this Epsom sĥop let's you down. The staff are curt and unhelpful. We could not find a clean settee or a clean table to set our tray dow, the floor is dirty and unswept.. We have to pay to park in Epsom but this is not worth a visit. This is our second visit with the same awful customer experience and we will take our business else where next time. Head office should really offer the manager some customer service training as this is absolutely unacceptable behaviour and is damaging the Costa brand.

I wanted to try Costa coffee's new hot milkshake, but I didn't find the milkshake as a big thing.

Went into the coffee shop for the first time today made to feel extremely welcome by one of the staff members Samantha who was very professional and kindly provided extra cream on my coffee upon request. Will definitely be back soon, thanks guys. ☕️

Staff have a bad attitude.Asked why the hot chocolate didnt look like the picture and was told theres no cream or toppings. No effort to mebtion it when i ordered They really couldnt be bothered. Wil be spending my money elsewhere in future

I do love a costa but they really are pushing it with their prices now. 2 hot chocolates and 2 bacon baps cost like £19. I'm not sure about this anymore. Really getting hard to warrant the price It's always nice but it just costalot

It is a good place to meet up with friends - nice coffee and a pleasant ambience. Even if you arrive alone, you feel welcome.

I am a regular guest at costa. And generally they are great places . The one in Epsom is literally the worst I have ever been in . The noise is in tolerable. They clatter and bang around with no consideration for the people trying to have a conversation. The staff are simply useless and literally always need help in preparing your drink and the place is frankly dirty. If this was what all Costa were like you would never go to one again. Awful

Had to empty table so I could sit .Most of tables were the same .Was told they were really busy .No customers waiting ?? Table was very wobbly asked staff if they could help. Told to find another table .And then she kept mumbling and shaking her head. And was very rude shouted across floor enjoy your coffee.

Didn't actually manage to get coffee as yet again this Costa did not open at 8am which has happened 2 or 3 times on Sundays.Unreliable opening hours

Excellent coffee and steak sandwich.

Waited 10 mins in the que whilst watching staff chat to customers. No toilet paper in the toilet, disabled toilet had water and tissue paper all over the floor. Just gross. Put items back and left will not be coming here again

This place doesn’t deserve customers. We placed an order through deliveroo last week and tried again today. They never confirm order so they don’t deserve the business. They shouldn’t be on deliveroo if they can’t be bothered with customers. Terrible place

Excellent service, served by a great barista who certainly wouldn’t bang the machine or cups.

If you want to have a quick snack, don’t come here at 15:40 and expect to be served. They switch off the oven half and hour before closing time.

Normally, I don’t have a bad word to say about this Costa however today I took my mother out for lunch and I was gobsmacked with the customer service from one staff member. She made the mistake of putting our drinks in takeaway cups rather than the eat in mugs and when asking her to make them again, her reply was “I don’t get why you’re being so difficult”. After trying to deescalate the situation, whilst she was hitting the machine dramatically and clanging mugs in front of us, she then decided to storm into the back and her colleague had to deal with our order. A rude staff member and terrible customer service, I won’t be returning!

Very busy got served quickly can't complain

So clean, great coffee selection and pastries! Didn't like sitting outside, so near the road and fumes! Great inside!

Stopped off for a quick coffee and a bacon roll while doing the Saturday shop. The staff are always really nice and the bacon and mushroom roll just hit the spot. Can some times have a bit of a que but the staff work quickly to clear the que and make sure you don't have to wait to long.

Some people are a bit sniffy about chains but there’s room for large name brands and small indies in my world. Not so keen on the almond milk that costa has switched too.

This was the first time of using Costa in Ewell. It was a pleasant place to have a coffee and croisant, and to read the paper whilst my wife was clothes shopping near by. Not too busy and relatively quiet!

A long wait and it was quite crowded in the doorway and queue leading to the till. But the staff were trying their best.

Nestled in a sweet village, this humungous Costa is fab, extraordinarily high ceiling with plenty of seating and obvs delish ☕ coffee. Snacks and usual costa fayre available. The cortado was smooth and tasty. Fast service. Excellent place. Staff extremely lovely. 😇🤩

Really great coffee shop! The lady that served me was very friendly and helpful! There was a deal for the toastie of 50% off and the strawberry frostino was delightful! They have toilets for customers too which are clean, it would be nice if they could make the tap and dispenser hands free, that would be my only recommendation.

Google says Costa Coffee shuts at 6pm on a Sunday. Some random site opening times site, says it's 5pm. I turn up at four minutes to five and I'm told the shop is closed. It takes a minute to make a coffee. You can't be bothered to make me a coffee at the end of the day, I can't be bothered to come in like I do everyday and buy a coffee . Guess the local businesses will benefit.

Very nice caramel lattes - hot and tasty. Quick service but was at 9am on a Bank Holiday so was quite empty.

Waited a full 15 mins with not even eye contact from the staff re taking an order. The an agressive staff member told us “he’d get to us when he was ready”. An explanation, or even slight hit of interest in the customers queuing out the door would be good. Terrible customer service

Just been served by Fisal at counter. No customer service. Had to shout order at him. Card declined so he served someone else and kept me waiting. No thank you's. Had to ask for receipt. And still has a fly problem. Thought I would try here again after refit. Nothing has changed! Still poor.

I wish they would teach their people the fundamentals on coffee making. Burning the milk, burning the coffee, cleaning the equipment after every cup made. Its simply not done here. I dont know if that's the company ethos or all stores are plain lazy.

I couldn't use my gift card or any card.fortunately I found just enough cash. First time I have used cash in months not a great experience being given change and not knowing who has used it recently and whether it was safe to handle.

Sass from the staff who didnt listen to my order or then accept feedback on the quality of the drink. Recieved 2 frappachinos that were bad. I'm no pricness but constructive feedback was branded 'aggressive' for it not being 'upto my standard'. It's Costa's standard. Was just before closing but still, not impressed.

i have came here loads of times and i have always loved it my favourite meal has to be the cheese and ham toastie its just the best they have the best food a cafe could have.

A warm friendly Costa in a village surrounding, usual Costa fare well presented by helpful staff, plenty of space all kept clean and comfortable. Nothing extraordinary just straight forward and relaxing, it's what you need quite often.

Yes, this Costa is busy but it is in the middle of the Ashley Centre so you would expect a que. Each time I have visited the service has been good, they team get through the orders as quick as they can and I have always found the staff really friendly in this branch. If your in a hurry probably not the place to go, but I always think costa coffee is worth the wait.

Queue is always too long, but the coffee is great , also had the special offer of pigs in blanket in Mac & cheese with a snack a drink for £4.95 . Which was tasty and good value. Lack of staff to clear the tables too.

Friendly staff and fast service

One of my favourite coffee shops. They make one the best flat whites I've ever had.

Just been into Costa for a coffee today and had the worst experience. When I entered we tried to find a free table and discovered that one of the staff member’s children had taken up three tables by playing with there toys and throwing food at other customers, meaning that we were unable to sit down. When I discovered that the children belonged to a staff member, I asked if we could move some of the toys onto another table, she shouted at me and repeatedly said “they are children sir, take a chill pill”. A truly terrible experience and will never return!!

I love the costa coffee in Ewell. The stuff are friendly and polite and always smiling. And also a very clean.

A Costa is a Costa is a Costa. You know what you get. But my trip here today was enhanced by pleasant friendly staff and efficient service.

I can say that costa coffe Ewell east is the best costa coffe not only in Epsom but in the whole greater London, the place is very clean and the staff are very professional.

Recently popped in here for an esrly coffee several times. The service is usually what you would exoect, for me it has been speedy an pleasant However on this ocassion had to visit the toilets. What a ket diwn. And a great concern easpcially for an establushment handling serving food to the general public. Mesaage to the management here is to increase the frequency of cleaning visits for your toilets. I refused to use them when I went in . Nit going into ddtail but they were not very clean.

Huuuuge mugs of coffee requiring double handles like a soup bowl. Very pleasant in the sunshine and the facilities were spotless.

Had been waitin in the queue for a while as small girl had been serving a man for. A while. He was being doggie in terms of wha he wanted to order, however the girl with the flower showed great patience dealing with him. I was amazing and impressed

Not the best Costa I've visited but OK

Coffee is always good and none of the staff ever stand around doing nothing. If there's a lull in customers they are cleaning - even going up ladders to clean the top of the light fittings. They are now stocking more vegan options.

Really large and open plan cafe with good strong coffee.

Not my cup of tea at all and especially not recommended for food. I much prefer the independent brunch spots at the village. You will not find me at Costa unless something went really wrong....

When in here about 08:30 Thurs morning. Busy and only two staff working, who did very well. Need somewhere to put used cup, trays etc. Coffee and sausages in a bap were surprisingly good. Also nice and clean throughout.
