Unlike a lot of food reviews I’m actually a real person. I’ve eaten from enough places in Epsom to know this is most likely the best Chinese food you’ll eat in the area, and the staff are polite and respectful, very recommended.

This wasn't a good experience from this Chinese I thought the amount of Squid vs Vegetables was unbelievable hardly any Squid also the Squid had been overcooked and was hard, Chilli Beef also the same not much of it at all and wasn't crunchy it was soggy, Rice was nice and so was the Noodles. Overall Poor.

Just ordered a takeaway, said we was paying cash, so the driver turns up , he has the most stinking cold going and has no change , frigging useless told him to take the food away, won't be using them anymore Also heard shop has new management...

Have been using this Chinese since 2017 but was very disappointed this evening driver turned up with a rotten cold was planning on paying by cash but driver came with no float so had to send him away will now be going elsewhere for my chinese

It must be new owners the food was awful the chips were soggy the prawns were tiny and all powdered worst food ever

Was lovely apart from the satay chicken was really tough which was a shame

We waited 2 & a half hours for delivery. The restaurant didn't answer the phone until we had waited over two hours. The restaurant said that their systems went down but our food was ready. Twenty five minutes later it was delivered. Two items missing & the rest of the food was lukewarm and had clearly been cooked when we first ordered & kept warm. We had to throw away half of the order & have not been well today with upset stomachs. Just Eat not refunding as they say it's a Food Standards issue

Fantastic customer service. Ordered roughly about month ago from this restaurant and unfortunately my drink was forgotten. However they remembered that happened and on this order they sent me the drink. Even I forgot about it, very classy from China Chef. Finally the food is lovely.

Brilliant food and quick delivery as always

WOW! This was easily the best Chinese takeaway I've ever had. Everything was hot and fresh and on time! Chicken balls were freshly made and generous, spring rolls are handmade (and we're the big pancake roll style) - they were fresh and full of meat. Singapore fried rice again full of meat (I asked for extra spicy and it was!!). I was pleased to see the beef satay had real Chinese mushrooms rather than the cheaper English closed cap. This place obviously cares about quality - fantastic!!

The food was okay not the best, I had better from other restaurants. The rice,noodles were fine as welll as the salt and pepper ribs but the chicken balls along with the sweet and sour wasn’t good

This is a current review, June 2024. I have used China Chef twice in the last couple of weeks and both times it has been very good. The food is good, both times it has arrived ahead of the given time (and yesterday was a Friday night). The portions are generous. I had the House Special Curry which was really good. Both times I have been charged a 50p service charge and £2.50 delivery charge, which is a bit annoying, but the prices are good so it still works out good value.

I Had to call the restaurant twice to chase the order! Very polite lady who answered my call and said I was next for delivery! 20 minutes later I had to call again and she then called the driver who was 5mins away. Food arrived warm and sweaty. Very disappointed
