Had a nice time there.. Food was goid staff very friendly and service was good. I would go back again.. The buffet is from the menu you can order as much as you like...

Chinese receptionist vary rude I sit on the table didn’t come to ask me I want eat in aur take away over the counter asking what you want and I did ask her , she give me take away and I want eat in fell vary bad didn’t recommend this place vary attitude this woman don’t know how to taik customer and take orders 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

Good food but atmosphere lacking. A shame really

I rang to place an order for delivery and was asked if they could call me back in five minutes I waited 35 minutes and they never returned my call my previous order was accompanied by smoked chicken and when it arrived it was burnt I decided to give them another chance and this happened rude china spice is by far the best and lovely staff avoid like the plague

I ordered a takeaway from Imperial Oriental and I was very disgusted at the outcome. The day after eating it, I became extremely ill! This then opened the floodgates to what became 2 weeks of constant illness. We were served rice which was not fully cooked, and that then resulted in my illness. This proves to be very untrusting.

I've visited this place in the past. The food is decidedly average but it was always good value. They've whacked up the prices and the bill was £85 for one adult and two children. If the children are over ten they have to pay as an adult. We won't return, which is a shame.

I ordered a takeout and it was delicious, good portions, fast delivery, highly recommend this place.

Attended for a 37th birthday lunch buffet for 7 people. I’m so impressed we have Been looking for a good Chinese for 2 years and this is now our favourite! We ordered it for dinner on the same evening, quality was still up to standards arrived in good time and cooked to perfection . Thank you!

The food is not that food. Specially the buffet. The staffs are not friendly. We felt very uncomfortable. Not recommended.

I bought singapore fried rice from this restaurant and found a dead fly inside it which seemed cooked and had no wings. Had I not looked twice would have eaten it thinking it was just charred meat. Over the phone I was met with denial and refused a refund which was unacceptable considering how much I paid for the food. The fly did not land in my food as it was already dead, looked like it was cooked with the rice and I opened my meal indoors. I’m very disappointed with the hygiene standards and the response from what I thought was a reputable restaurant. Will not be coming back again.

Very good food. When I visted with two friends on a Thursday evening at 19:30 it was empty at first although a family did also enter later, so it was quite quiet. Parking is free in the evening at least, just outside. Going back to the food, it was very good, I'd recommend the spicy lamb and the fruity sweet & sour chicken. Will be returning.

The staff are extremely attentive and they always take a genuine interest in their customers. We have brought friends here for several years now. The food has always been exceptional and the service is to the same level. The buffet deal is extremely good value and the house wines are very palatable. It's a very cosy intimate restaurant, great atmosphere.

No. For my own notes: Bad smelling noodles and dry. Frozen seafood, bad quality and felt microwaved - very hard prawns. Dry pork. Veges - ok. Ribs, ordered salt and pepper - was not salt and pepper, was ok. Can't believe this place was recommended to me by my friend. The taste and smell of the main dishes were disgusting.

Decided to give this one a go over our regular Chinese spot. I got the kung po chicken. I found it flavorful and tasty. But had a little too much sugar for my liking. Service was good, and fast and I enjoyed the food. Pros: tasty dishes, good fast and respectful service. Cons: too sugary sauce, price is a little more than other Chinese restaurants in the area Will definitely return

Placed a take away order. Requested vegetable spring rolls. Low and behold meat in them!! Paid for food that could not even be eaten! no offer of a refund for that particular dish. Just a " sorry, the kitchen made a mistake"!! Not much help after a throwing up and ruining a birthday celebration !!Think twice before eating / ordering from here if you have allergies or diet preferences.

A nice place to eat with good quality food and generally friendly staff the only drawback being the restaurant had too many tables which meant chairs were to huddled together around the tables for real comfort. A clean and tidy place to go with a small group.

I'm sorry, but I do not approve. So greasy. Bland. The batter is so thick its like eating bread full of grease. Chilli beef was thick and very chewy. Sweet & sour sauce tasted weird. The fried rices were swimming in grease, after emptying the containers the bottom was just half a spoon of oil. Szechuan was not szechuan.. I don't know what that was. Not recommending this place. Pricing was fair.

I ordered a takeaway based on positive reviews here, Sweet and Sour Chicken, the chicken waslike chewing gum. I ordered schezuan beef and they gave me chopped ribs instead of beef?..overall disgusting to be honest. Rice was alright though.

Went for the 1st time on Saturday at around 6pm. We recommend booking as it's quite a small restaurant and was busy when we arrived.We chose to eat from the eat as much as you like menu for £18.90 this was great value for money.We chose the seafood hors d'oeuvres, crispy duck then sizzling seafood, sizzling beef in black bean with fried noodles and bak choi in garlic. Very quick bringing the food out and tasty. We would definitely visit again. Sorry no photos as was enjoying the food too much.

Having googled an all-u-can-eat, we chose the Imperial. What a good choice. We were there around 6pm and had the restaurant to ourselves, it started to fill up as we were just finishing our meal. We browsed the menu and chose our starters, these like all our food came out hot, so hot I burnt my mouth. The food was very delicious. The staff were polite, Curtis and friendly Would I go back here, definitely.

The food is quite good and the take away portions are huge. We have eaten in the restaurant before so we know that the food is OK. Unfortunately our take-away (delivery) arrived an hour late and one of the starters was missing. We received a bottle of wine as an apology so at least the restaurant acknowledged that they had let us down.

This spot provides first-rate service as well as tasty menu. One of the best restaurant in the area. The drinks and food arrived fast and the prices are affordable. I recommend this place.

I took my wife for our Anniversary dinner last night and I was so impressed!! The quality of food is great and tasted amazing! We opted for the evening buffet and the portion sizes was perfect for us try a lot of dishes! Great food great service! Definitely recommend!!

Hard to beat this place when it comes to Chinese takeaway, I'm a regular visitor and haven't had a bad dinner ever. Highly recommend trying and parking in Stoneleigh Broadway ok - most of the time!

Very fresh ingredients. Great find. Good Chinese takeaway hard to find these days. You can tell that the oil they have cooked the special fried rice with is clean oil and as such is very light on the food. The taste is in the ingredients. Definitley recommend

First time visit and very impressed with food and service. Had the set menu for 17.95 and report good quality and plenty of food. Will certainly return and maybe have the a la carte and try some of the dishes not on the set menu. Staff very pleasant and efficient and not hurried.

Tried this restaurant for the first time last night and wanted to say how yummy it was! Family meal with 2 adults and 2 children and more than enough choice for all of us on the ‘all you can eat’ menu. The food was delicious, the staff were very friendly and the price was good for the amount we ate and could have eaten! Don’t normally write many reviews but really was such a nice meal I felt I wanted share!

Popped in Sunday afternoon always great flavour and fresh food here great little local gem don’t let the decor and small interior put you off it’s clean very friendly staff and most importantly great food.

Have gone as a couple and taken large parties - 40 plus people. Service is excellent and friendly. Good choice of menu which is nicely prepared, hot and tasty. It is one of our favour restaurants and we have taken parties on 4 occasions now.

The quality of meat is poor and the quantity is very small. They have a seperate menu for a buffet and every food tasted similar as they used the same sauce base for every food. Very disappointed. Probably the worst buffet i've ever been to.

My badminton pals and I went to Imperial Oriental last Friday May 10th. We hadn't been there since last November - the longest gap ever with our regular haunt. The last time we visited, I noted an all-round improvement at an already-very-good restaurant; this time the further improvement was remarkable and the food was as good as any Chinese cuisine that we had ever eaten. Service was as friendly and efficient as before.

We were invited as part of a party of 7 early on a Saturday evening. The restaurant looks a bit stark and could do with something more on the walls, etc. But while the décor left a little to be desired, the food did not. We had the banquet - all you can eat for £17.95 ((£10 for under 9s), which allowed us to choose all the things we love (heavy on starters and crispy duck). The food was excellent throughout and not just the more popular dishes but they serve up excellent mussels and squid too. One thing I noticed was that telephone orders came in - those ordering were being asked to wait longer than the usual15-20 minutes but considerably longer and I think this is a restaurant that does not reduce quality for speed. Food came regularly and was always hot as well as delicious. The atmosphere was great mainly due to excellent friendly service.

Went into this restaurant for the first time yesterday to collect a takeaway, the staff were really friendly and welcoming and gave us prawn crackers to eat while we waited for five minutes for the food to finish being prepared. Food itself was lovely, all perfectly cooked, nice and hot and great portion sizes. They even gave us spring rolls on the house, which was a great touch. All in all 5/5 and will definitely be returning here!

Ordered set meal for 2. Took an hour and 10 minutes for the food to arrive (after chasing by phone). The food was not hot, and taste wise, average. The beef dish container lost most of the sauce in the bag so everything was covered is sauce - real mess.

I booked a table for six for my birthday lunch yesterday. I was surprised to find the restaurant completely empty and thought perhaps I had made a dreadful mistake. We went for the set meal ( there didn't appear to be another option) but it was good. Plenty of food, freshly cooked and the service was speedy and the waitress was very pleasant. It was the first time I had been here and decided on it because of the trip advisor reviews and we weren't disappointed. Will definitely return.

I've reviewed this restaurant twice before. Went there again with my old Badminton pals last Friday. It was good previously; it is now even better.

We visited The Imperial on Saturday evening for my daughters 8th birthday, it was a last minute booking and it was so worth it. The staff were friendly and helpful, the restaurant was busy but service was good. We had the All you can eat menu and all the dishes were cooked on our request. The food was superb and both of my children aged 8 and 11 are looking forward to going back.This is the best Chinese I have eaten in a very long time.

A friend who lives locally and knows this restaurant booked a table for all 5 of us, with the suggestion to order the buffet menu. This was a buffet with a difference, as each course is freshly prepared and brought to the table. An incredibly wide choice is available, and each item is brought with the intention of sharing with the rest of the table, as the dishes are placed on the revolving centre piece.

My son, daughter and myself ate at the imperial last night. The staff were friendly and the food excellent. As my daughter lives in Australia we wanted to repeat the lovely experience from 18 months ago when we all ate here.
