Village Pizza in Epsom and Ewell

I experienced disgusting service from this place if I could put minus stars I would. I’ve been going to this place for year and the way I’ve been treated tonight is disgusting and been threaten with physical violent (by saying he would get his friends to come and deal with my brother) by the MANAGER !! because he didn’t understand the deal on Uber eats (that they have to agree to) and not even listening and just shouting was disgusting and appalling. The management is absolutely appalling rude and threatening. What once was a lovely establishment, is now ran by horrid human beings. I hope no else get treated like this as it was quite scary.

They make amazing food and the staff is really nice they do deliveries and they have meal deals and u can order on the phone via call

Pricewise, little dearer. Qualitywise, below average. Tastewise, but soggy though Ingredients, pretty basic. Overall, average, it's ok like pizzas 🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕

Awful customer service and sneaky price increases... Price online & on the website is not what they try and charge you when you order on the phone. Seemed to just make prices up and say offers aren't running even though you can see they are online. The guy on the phoned then tried to barter the price down with me...

Been a customer of theirs for past 10 years. Had the worst ever customer service experience on Monday with the call operator as well as the delivery driver. Both were rude and unprofessional. They failed to deliver the Pizzas ordered down the road from the establishment. This once very decent place has been run down. They need basic etiquettes to speak to customer and deliver simple order which is walking distance from the shop

Very tasty thin base pizzas, friendly staff who make them quickly, cheaper to go and collect it yourself if you live nearby

I ordered from Village Pizza on Feb 5th hoping for a treat as they were my fave place to go for a vegan pizza. They called to say that they no longer had vegan cheese and would I still like the pizza. I said no and would just prefer a refund. Well it's Feb 27th now and still no refund. I have emailed and called them but to no avail. Please avoid at all costs. They really don't care about their customers...

After eating their pizza last evening I had a food poisoning and severe diarrhoea all night. I feel totally exhausted today! One of the ingredients on my pizza must have been past its sell by date and wasn’t suitable for consuming. The restaurant probably have a policy of selling them instead of disposing them in order to save money. Well, I would gladly pay more for guarantee of fresh food. If you want to order a pizza, order it somewhere else. Avoid this restaurant and save yourself a pain and a sleepless night.

We've ordered from here for over 5 years because they did great vegan options and, as you see, most of their positive reviews are because of this. However, the last 2 times we've rung they've said they no longer cater to vegans - even though online it still says they do... Massive shame as it was their only really USP and they'll loose so much business (we're all vegans here and i know many others who ate there because some of them were too). To be fair their vegan options have been getting worse over the last couple of years so there has been a steady decline on this point. Perhaps not a suprise but I imagine they won't survive much longer...

Ordered a collection for a specific time & only had to wait 5 mins which I thought was acceptable!! Good tasting pizza!

We’ve been ordering for many years as the pizza is nice but there might have been a change of ownership they refuse to honour the offer they text us - probably because they are busy. The offer says £10.99 any pizza any size with min order £15 for delivery but when calling the price is £11.99 and min order £20 - telling is that ‘I’m the owner and I can change it’. Needless to say that such a disregard of the customer means we won’t be ordering ever from

ordered at ~7:10, to be delivered at 7:30, no contact until gone 8 where they asked if the order was correct. this was followed by constant delays on the order until contacted by phone, arriving cold, thin, and an hour and 3/4 late. This is the first time ordering after a similarly disappointing ordeal 2-3 years ago.

Not good food cold and staff not nice to ask to speak to the manager and got told they are not here as the staff would not change the food

Average pizzas, but they will bombard you with SMS messages, and they are really not interested in stopping the endless messages when you call. May need to go to the regulators, GDPR, etc

Best pizza takeaway in the Ewell, Epsom, Sutton, Cheam area. So many varieties which I have found all to be great and well priced.

Me and my gf made an order on the deliveroo website on Wednesday for 2 vegan margherita pizzas. (With added green pepper and red onion). As you can see in the photos the pizza place is called Village Pizza Vegan. The description goes on to mention that this is Vegan Pizza heaven, how they are a registered member of the Vegan Society, and do everything they can to provide Real Vegan Pizza. So the pizza arrived and it looked great.(as seen in the first photo). It looked just like a non-vegan pizza. We were impressed with the quality of the "vegan" cheese. It was stringy and cheesey and had caramelised on top like real cheese. Me and my GF were so impressed we got worried that perhaps it wasn't vegan. We checked the deliveroo app again just to double check. We clearly ordered from village pizza vegan and the margherita pizza clearly says it comes with 'village cheez' (vegan cheese). So our minds were put at ease. But then we ordered the exact same pizzas last night, as we had been so impressed with how real the cheese was. I got a phone call shortly after ordering my vegan margherita to confirm I wanted vegan cheese as the topping. This raised some alarm bells. Why would my vegan order from a vegan pizza place check to see I wanted vegan cheese? I didn't receive that phone call the previous time. Me and my gf then started to feel uneasy about the previous order. Had we eaten real cheese? We figured our minds would only be eased once the pizzas turned up and we saw them. Usually vegan cheese doesn't caramelise. It usually looks like a bland creamy substance. When the pizzas showed up they looked like how I described as shown in the second photo below. They also tasted really bland and "fake" like many vegan pizzas we have tried over the years. We realised that if this was the Vegan cheese option then what we got previously was not. We both had a feeling it was too good to be true when we tried the pizza previously. But the menu we ordered from clearly states it is a vegan pizza menu. After we had our pizza (that had dairy cheese on instead of vegan cheez) on Wednesday, my gf had a bad stomach and my skin started to get a bit rashy and tender as I am lactose intolerant. But we put it down to the fact we don't normally eat processed foods and takeaways and so perhaps just had a sensitive reaction. But we both felt fine after getting an actual vegan pizza on Friday. We called the business last night and spoke to the manager. He didn't seem alarmed nor did he start off by apologising. Instead he kept interrupting my gf on the phone as she was trying to explain the situation. He kept repeating that they use the same vegan cheez on all pizzas (which confirmed why the pizzas looked different only 2 days apart) instead of listening to our point that what we got wasn't vegan cheez but actual mozzarella cheese. He then kept saying he wasn't there on wednesday night so couldn't really comment and said he would ask the manager who was there wednesday if they had sent us out non-vegan pizzas. (I'm not sure how they would remember every individual order.) If me or my gf had a dairy allergy, this could have been very serious, potentially deadly. Instead we are both intolerant and had negative reactions. The manager didn't seem to understand the seriousness of this or seem apologetic. Me and my gf are vegan because we don't want to eat animals or pay towards animal cruelty and exploitation and have been this way for many years. So we are extremely disappointed that due to the negligence of this pizza place we ended up paying for and consuming an animal product. I cannot understand how a place called Village Pizza VEGAN that offers VEGAN pizzas can get this so wrong. The vegan pizza we did get was really average and not worth the money. Through deliveroo we did get a refund so that is at least something. But this experienced ruined our evening and our bodies are both now reacting badly due to being lactose intolerant.

Shocked and disappointed with the customer service received this afternoon. Historically VP Ewell have been excellent all round particularly when advising on dietary requirements. However this afternoon a person identifying themself as the manager advised over the phone that the toppings I choose on my pizza are 'my responsibility simple as that' with no offer of assistance with ingredients even when I asked and said his colleagues are normally very helpful. Can only think there has been a change of ownership/management as the person this afternoon did not seem to know anything about his ingredients or customer service. Will miss VP Ewell, sadly this means we cannot use them any longer. In this day and age you would think businesses would be keen to help.

We were visiting the area and got a couple of pizzas from here. The pizza was super salty, overcooked and not nice. The dips are just the prepacked small ones which aren’t very nice and weren’t cheap. Wouldn’t order from here again.

A few friends had recommended this place. We ordered through Deliveroo. 2 hours later, still no pizza. When I called they said they had a power cut, and had cancelled our order. If we wanted pizza we would have to re-order. Deliveroo confirm they didn’t cancel the order. Village pizza insist I called to cancel, which never happened!! They obviously didn’t want or bother with our order

The vegan pizza from this place has improved since my first review - they are always expanding, trying new things. Last time I tried to order online (which was, to be fair, over three years ago) it went hideously wrong, so hopefully they sorted that out.

By far the best Pizzeria in the Ewell area even though it is takeaway only. The selection on offer is varied and delicious, the staff are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable and delivery or collection is fast and efficient. I am a coeliac so can't have gluten and as soon as I mentioned it the team here were quick to point out certain things I can't have when I made a selection ensuring that the pizza was tailored to my requirement. I had a nice chat with Atusa and couldn't decide on which 2nd pizza to get so let her make the decision and boy... That pizza was amazing! I'm not even a massive fan of pizza so don't order often but when I'm lazy I always use Village Pizza and they have never once disappointed me - keep up the good work guys and gals. 👏🏼🙌🏼😋🍕

Wanted to try Village for a while as had grown bored with papa Johns vegan pizza delivery. Was pleased with fast delivery and my mock pepperoni pizza. Also had vegan nuggets for starter which were tasty. Not best vegan pizza I've had but certainly not the worst

Shocking service, took my order over the phone and payment. Called back 10 minutes later to tell me I live to far away. Agreed to deliver then waited another 15 minutes to call back and change their mind. Asking for bank details for refund and then when questioned stated they would refund the money to my card. Disgusted and still hungry.

We were ordering many times now from Twickenham and it’s my favorite pizza,( way better then branded restaurants ) The dough is nice and toppings delicious.

I ordered one pizza on Thursday vegetalien they 've got 20 minutes late the deliver really rude don't apologise about the late and ask me 3 pounds of tip like this.please can you give me three pounds I was like euh . Ordered a lunch time special and was very impressed by the quality and size of the pizza. They even included a can of drink with the pizza. All for £4. Great lunchtime deal.

I'm vegan and lactose intolerant and i can tell when i've eaten dairy. I've had lots of stomach cramps and i feel quite sick after having read other reviews from vegans from another review site that they'd put real dairy cheese on a vegan pizza. If this was the case with my order, i'd be very and extremely devastated.

As much i dont want to enjoy a quick and easy food establishment and save my 5 stars for the posh restuarents, i just cannot find any flaws. Staff were friendly, good was prepared quickly, food tasted really good and i got a fair amount for the price. Will have this in mind when craving a pizza again!

These pizzas are so much better than any chain's. The ingredients are fresh and the bases are crispy. I have been to it about 10 times now. I reccomend the feta and walnuts pizza with chees stuffed crust

Ordered a few times and no complaints. Pizzas are really good. Stuffed crust is well done. Looks like they cater for lots of dietry requirements. Friendly delivery guys, and the pizza has always been hot. More consistent than dominos (sometimes late), and Papa John's (sometimes cold) - so worth considering if you fancy a change.

We have been ordering for three years. Not very often probably once every few months but it has always been tasty and well cooked. It has been going downhill since earlier in the year. The one we got this week was horrible. Very little topping the quality of the ingredients have gone down hill and it was so dry. To top it off all three of us had terrible tummies in the morning. Will never order again. Such a shame because there isn't any where else that deliver that is edible. I have spoken to a few people who have found the same so i think they might have a problem on their hands.

As a regular customer for many years I am disappointed with village pizza. As a vegan it was great to find a place which served me vegan pizzas, I often spoke to a female on the phone who was so positive and helpful, she often sent across 'samples' of vegan pieces with my order. I was happy with the service, the price and the delicious food. Then suddenly she seemed to vanish and things changed for the worse. The prices went sky high and changed every time I called, and toppings became a little stingy. Come on village pizza, be consistent with your prices, and in line with your competitors.

I am not a connoisseur but I enjoyed the pizza I had. Lots of toppings. Friendly counter staff. My daughter paid so I can't comment on value for money.

We ordered a couple of pizzas from Village Pizza (Epsom) for delivery and won't be doing that again.

I went to collect my two pizzas on a BOGOF deal and was told it had gone up to £17! Full price for two pizzas would have been £35! Ridiculous! When I queried it the poor staff tried their best to explain but the manager did not even bother to come over to assist his staff. We have been regular customers for about 3 years but will go to Pizza Express from now on as it's better and cheaper too!

The diver was very friendly and Polit his name is Siyavash. The pizzas were tasty I love it. My favourite is suprema and pepe pollo💕💕

We dropped by this takeaway whilst travelling past (on the M25) as we heard that it offered vegan options. We were not disappointed. They offered not only vegan bases and vegan cheese but also vegan sausage and vegan chicken.
