Sanchos Grill in Epsom and Ewell

Ordered the pepperoni pizza and have never tasted anything more horrible in my life. Everyone that knows me knows I LOVE pizza but it was so bad I couldn't eat more than 1 slice! Don't bother ordering, I won't again!

Have ordered from Sanchos many times & it is usually ok. Tonight’s order included a 10 inch pepperoni pizza as I fancied something different. When I opened the box I couldn’t believe that I had paid £14.25 for it. I could’ve got the same pizza in Tesco for less than £3. A total rip off & it didn’t really taste that good either. How they have the nerve to charge that much for what you get beggars belief. So if you want to buy a pizza don’t order from Sanchos as you will be very disappointed if you do.

We ordered with our order crispy chips, they were undercooked, large separate salad for 2 people, which came in the smallest box. When we called, were told that this is the large salad, and to send another salad would cost £7.50 (on menu this is £6.50). When we said we would not pay extra, the man was rude. Will not be using again. Not even a response after a week. Unbelievable! I never complain, but am a very unhappy customer.

Have ordered many times from here, but this time the Donner wrap had plastic in, long strand of hair also. They came to collect the food and not heard back since. Won’t be ordering here again

Terrible Service went to order a doner kebab and while there friend called to say they ordered a kids meal burgers chips and drink When it arrived burger was cold and no chips guy told her chips were not ordered so while in there I tried to sort it out Chips come as part of meal and said you told her it didn't they tried to say they would send chips out if and when he had time !!!!!? And burger left shop hot Language distance was huge just kept saying its ok its ok Won't use again When I traveled home with my food only a 3 minute drive my food was also cold This used to be a good place to eat now it poor quality and over priced I also won't use again

Lied to by staff that food was out for delivery an hour after ordering. Food cooked and getting cold awaiting collection. My son collected it in the end. Sanchos and Deliveroo = woeful. Won’t use again. Really disappointing as been great previously.

The pizza itself was 3 stars at best, missing topping from our pizza. The customer service was despicable! From being told on the phone "no not maybe that is the address or not" and also after THEM hearing the card number wrong saying "read the right number I am busy" as someone who works in a busy customer service based job i know it is no way to treat your customers, I'm putting this down to the new management that others have mentioned as the pizza and staff previously were good.

Nothing of the order came correctly, when I spoke to the company again they were very rude over the phone and insisted that they sent everything out which I requested, all in all very disappointing service and food, next time would rather go out for a proper sit down dinner in a reputable restaurant and will definitely be cheaper and much better food, avoid at all costs!

100% best kebab I have had in a long time!! The portions are very generous. They are wrapped in foil to keep warm - and the meat is delicious. Very quick delivery and great customer service. Thanks Sanchos 😊

Overcharged and a rip off. They charged £9.30 for a burger, chips and drink. I've checked their online menu, current Deliveroo and current Just eat and the same meal doesn't come to anywhere near that so I'm confused as to why I was charged so much. They forgot my drink and didn't add a napkin or offer any sauce. Won't be going back.

AVOID! Arrived late so the food was cold, rubber and tasteless. Waste of money

Under new management since my last review which was previously 5 star. Bought a kebab there the other day and the guy serving used his hands to grab all the various salad ingredients rather than a pair of tongs... Yuck... Previous person paid cash, he hadn't washed his hands since handling the money, its basic hygiene. The other guy I saw wipe his sweaty forehead with his hand and was doing something with the pizza machine again no hand washing, we all get hot and sweaty but come on this is people's food.

Lovely food , tastiest halloumi wrap and cheesy chips around. Asked for a pitta extra and to pay cash and they wouldn’t let me pay! From 132 gilders road!

Thank you Sanchos, I haven’t ordered pizza from long time. But this time the pizza was testy with lots of fresh topping. I liked the test of chicken and the mix grill. Keep up the good work.

*Edit Jan 2022 - unfortunately it’s changed hands and the pizza is not what it used to be, smaller, less toppings, too doughy (even this crust). Such a shame as loved the old Sanchos. 2021 - Just love the pizzas from this place! Everything from the base to the toppings hits the spot. They’re happy to tailor to your taste buds as well.

We ordered a delivery from sanchos and it took over an hour to arrive and when it did finally arrive the food was cold, there was also items missing from the order. I won't be ordering from them again.

Great pizzas best to pick up as delivery is so much more pricier. Majority of staff are friendly, only 1 exception

Every time we order from here we both say never again!! I ordered a veggie wrap with no sauce and cheese, they gave me a veggie wrap (greasy vegetables) with Mayo and no cheese!! Sooooo many onions, it’s ridiculous, see photo. The sweetcorn was watery and soft, no crunch at all. The can of drink we ordered was missing. In fairness the pizzas they do are good, the wraps are awful! We won’t be ordering from them again .

2 hours after ordering (estimated 45 mins) no food, no phone call, and they don't answer at their end. Plain theft. Avoid like the plague.

We eat here all the time, but upon having our second pizza delivered wrong in as many orders, I rang up to calmly ask for a replacement to a barrage of accusations before I could even explain. Ruined our opinion of them due to awful customer service.

Nice pizza, we used to order here all the time. Wont be going back after the guy who answered the phone decided to have a go at me (a customer) without reason having had the wrong pizza delivered! Got rid of our custom due to extremely poor customer service!

Ordered delivery no answer on the phone but still saying there open.

Our food came prompt 40 mins after we ordered as we where told it would. All hot and massive portions and really tasty. Would deffo order again, order all correct and polite on the phone.

Ordered online at 9.17pm still no delivery at 11.30 pm... Yes its Xmas eve I expect it might take a little longer but as it is now closed at 11.30 pm I dare say its not gonna be delivered Paid by card I will be seeking full reimbursement..... Phoned the shop 6 times and leaving several messages but no reply. Usually pretty good service but never again. If they can do it once they can do it again...

Been ordering from here for a while was amazing food but ordered today waited over an hour and chicken has put me off sanchos grill it was disgusting won't be ordering from here again. Update Sun 23 June 2019: Orderd for me and my partner last night we both had lamb donner we ate it after it arrived.today we are both really ill what makes it worse I am pregnant and it really aint okay going to have to make a drs appointment tomorrow and what makes it even worse I have to wait for the manager to come in on Tuesday afternoon to put in a complaint?!?

Waited an hour and a half for the food! Missed things off our order and was made to wait another hour! Called him 7 times asking about the order and the bloke on the phone called me a c**t! Joke of a place wouldn’t recommend!

Kebabs and burgers are juicy and tasty, cant fault sanchos ☺ wouldn't go anywhere else now iv had their food.

AVOID!! Food was over 40mins late. When we phone to find out where it was we got told it’s 5-10mins away. 20mins later my wife called again and they hung up on her. Their delivery driver had said the food was delivered on the just eat app 20mins before it actually arrived. To top it off the food was awful, could have bought it frozen from the shops and it would have tasted better.

Have been using this place for years but the last 2 times the delivery service has been terrible. Told 8.10pm food turned up 35 minutes late. Good food but bones in the chicken so be careful

Ordered food at 9pm. Email said would be here at 9.55pm. 10.20pm still no food. Lady on the phone is just rude and obviously wanting to get off the phone to take more phone orders and thinks a bottle of coke will solve the issue. Disgusting service. If you want FAST food don't use this place

Really good food, excellent value for money

If I can give this a 0 then I would. Orderd 7.15pm this evening and been waiting for 2 hours! We called twice as our children were starving and had to make them cornflakes while waiting. The person on the phone was so rude and actually shouting down the phone when I was asking why is the order is taking so long!?! She also put the phone down twice when I calmly asked her the same questions. Terrible service. I can't give feed back regarding the actual food as we turned it down. And demanded a refund. Just never ordering from this place ever again!

Always order from here but I am thinking about looking else where. When I ask for my kebab meat to be well cooked it’s like this shop doesn’t read your message. The meat was very chewy like rubber I ended up throwing it away, this isn’t the first time this has happened .

I have never left a review online for anywhere I have eaten from before & not one to complain but I feel compelled to do so for this particular takeaway venue & I certainly will not be recommending this takeaway venue to anyone. I ordered food from here Saturday night firstly, the food was 40 minutes late from est delivery time. Secondly, what we ordered seemed very over priced. How does chips, nuggets, doner meat and a burger even come close to £30? Thirdly, and most disappointing is within 4 hours of eating my food I was very ill to say the least and still am near enough 2 days later. It’s confirmed food poisoning. Disgusted & concerned that a licensed food premises is happy to serve below average and clearly contaminated/uncooked food to their customers yet claim to be the best takeaway in Surrey? is just shocking to say the least. I note the ratings are near neck and neck for 1 star ratings to 5 star ratings yet I don’t seem to see many of the 1 star ratings being available to read which is concerning as are they trying to cover up more incidents like this?

Not only was the food bad here, but it scored 1 out of 5 on the food agency website. How can it still be in business?!

I hadn't seen the previous two reviews or we might not have tried Sanchos yesterday, but we had a portion each of lamb shish with pitta bread and salad, which is what we usually order elsewhere. There were six pieces of lamb each and a nice salad with red cabbage, onion, lettuce and a garnish of tomato and cucumber. Although I thought the portion of meat wasn't generous, in fact it was perfect for us. Maybe next time we'll pay the extra £2 for a large. I thought the quality of the lamb was excellent, it was moist, cooked medium as we'd requested, it was tender and the marinade wasn't too strong, but very nicely seasoned. I would go back again for the same, any time. On the menu there are other ghoices we might try, including a steak, or mixed kebabs.

Foods not bad. Always freshly cooked. A bit expensive for a takeaway.

My review is similar to the one below. We've been regulars of Sanchos for at least 3 years. Always lovely people and consistently good kebabs. **HOWEVER**, our last two meals have been sub-par and the meal we just received was an insult to both our taste-buds and our intelligence. The kebab pitta was stale and overly toasted to mask it's age and what meat there was was under-cooked and still left on the skewer. To rub salt in the wounds the lady that received our verbal complaint was incredibly arrogant and tried to convince us that these were just "new methods" from the Chef. If you're lucky enough to read this before ordering - do not bother.

Mi familia y yo hemos sido clientes de mucho tiempo en sanchos. Pero los últimos han sido por debajo de la media. Pero esta noche, la cena de esta noche era asquerosa y caro!! Evidentemente ha preparado fichas cuando ha ido frío y después ponerla en cuando enviaron a nosotros! Solía ser un chef y saber cómo la comida debería ser! Yo tenía una pechuga de pollo hamburguesa no fue cortado abierto fue más probable es superficial porque estaba seco como nada. Mis hermanas hamburguesa era simplemente tirado en la caja. Nos han perdido un cliente y advertir a otros de no perder su dinero aquí.

Me and my family have been long time users of sanchos probably 5 years plus. But reccently our 2 order have been bad but we ordered tonight and it's discrasful what they have sent us. Chips that have gone cold but obviously been put in the microwave, I used to be a chef so aware of what this looks like. Burgers just thrown in boxes. Will never order from this place again.

That is chicken donner they deliver to me.Just disgusting ! My girlfriend vomit after one bite. The worst 'kebab' I ever had.

Can't fault their burgers, good prices, good quality and a happy smiling service. The farmhouse burger was fantastic, crispy bacon and a griddles egg on top of a well cooked pattie. What more could track for?
