Camile Thai - Epsom in Epsom and Ewell

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Camile Thai has quickly become my go-to spot for incredible Thai cuisine! I absolutely loved the Thai Green Curry—it was bursting with flavor, perfectly balanced with just the right amount of spice. But what really stood out was the exceptional service. I arrived a bit late for the lunch deal (by about 5 minutes), but the staff was so accommodating and made sure I still got the offer. It’s rare to find a place where the food is as great as the service. I’ll definitely be coming back for more! Highly recommend!

Quiet place to eat. Food was very good, piping hot and very tasty. Order at the till. No feeling of being rushed or watched. Will be going again.

Food arrived quickly (within 5 minutes) was hot & fresh.. tasted delicious! We had the Pad Thai & Tom Yoong soup, with duck spring rolls to start (absolutely loaded with duck!)

Found this place by accident. We decided to give it a try for lunch. The food was surprisingly so good, we loved it. The staff members we dealt with were excellent. They went through the menu with us so that we could decide what to have. They were very enthusiastic and extremely friendly. couldn't ask for more. When the food arrived wow, so good. Chicken massaman curry, smooth and creamy. Thai green curry, with just the right amount of heat any good rounded flavour. The prices were surprisingly reasonable for the quality of the food. I don't live in Epsom but we definitely return for lunch. It's really a step up for high Street Thai restaurants. We loved it.

We ordered a delivery. When the food came, it was spilled all over the bottom of the bag. They refused to give us a new delivery and informed us it could be up to 48 hours before we’d get a refund. If you want Thai food, try Bamboo Basket instead. They’re awesome.

Became severely ill after the prawn gf curry and the jasmine rice, though I'm guessing it was the curry that did it. Bedbound two hours with a severely upset stomach. Never ordering again.

Placed an order for delivery. Everything was nicely packaged. The starters, although expensive, are very tasty. The issue was with the disgustingly tasteless main courses. They were so inedible we had to throw both meals away. I complained about the food numerous times and I haven't heard anything in three months.

Didnt eat in. Ordered takeaway. Must be worst Thai food I have had. Had hoped after a long wait for the delivery ( Deliveroo) that it would be worth the wait - it wasnt. Portion size was promising, but the Beef massaman was horrendous. Chewy inedible beef in a cream sauce which looked really pale and had no flavour at all. The crispy chilli chicken was not crispy and no hint of chilli. Will not order from here again. The only good point - the prawn crackers were nice.

£12.50 for a tiny portion of ‘crispy chilli chicken ‘ . About 6/7 pieces of chicken and no chilli flavour at all . Feel completely ripped off.

They need to stop taking Uber eats and deliveroo orders. Number 1 they are under staffed for it and number 2 it’s not nice having all these motorbike guys coming in an out the place. Ordered takeaway online and it said 15 mins but they made me wait1h. So they convince you to spend your money and then make you wait ages. Avoid.

I tried this place for the first time tonight using deliveroo. The order arrived very fast and piping hot. The vegan pad Thai is absolutely amazing and so yummy. My partner wants to try the food next time we order. You also get a huge bag of Thai prawn crackers. Will definitely come here again. Tonight I ordered at 4:40 via deliveroo and the food finally arrived an hour later. I won’t be ordering here again. It’s the second time I have received cold food here. Terrible food and terrible service. Forget what I said before it’s terrible here. I don’t like cold food. An hour wait on food. Yet it said 15-30 mins on deliveroo. Unacceptable. The cauliflower wings are awful. They are steamed cauliflower in herbs and spices. They do not even represent wings. Total waste of money. I will never eat here again. I thought I would give them a chance one more time to see if things had improved and sadly not. Very poor the vegan green curry is like soup and the prawn crackers are stale. Not nice at all and very soft.

Didn’t expect much for £7.69, and that’s. What I got! Spicy chilli chicken - ok but delivered to long table and sat there few minutes! Before making its way to me! Had to request my drink ten minutes after ordering, had request my spring roll half way through my meal! Two chefs and trek two waiting staff, slow food and all five unoccupied tables dirty! It’s open kitchen so you can see the cooks, wiping their noses on their sleeves and wandering round with EarPods in! Could have been a lovely little buzzy cafe - but sadly not!

After the revamp they seemed to have improved but flavours still not balanced as it used to be. Pad thai has improved significantly. Generous proteins especially chicken but shrimp portions seem to be lower than before. We had 2 pad thais and they didnt provide any peanuts for either. Also the chicken pepper dish, alot of peppers which are large chunky pieces and slightly under cooked and same with onions and there seemed to be less chicken pieces but now tastes less sweet and balanced.

This used to be great but since the last couple of months the food is terrible and best poorly balanced. I agree with someone that the pad Thai has become disgusting. Its like eating cardboard. Although the protein portions are still decent. The chicken wings have become slightly too sweet. Other curries have become so sweet that it should be on the dessert menu.

Camille is bold enough to say to use their own app for delivery but failed on multiple occasions to deliver the food in time or even to the right address. It is not just delivered late but SIGNIFICANTLY late (+1.5h). Really disappointing as the food is really tasty

It is our wedding anniversary today and I stupidly ordered from here. Yet again a horrific wait on deliver. I called a number of times and was constantly told either the food was on its way or it would be 20 minutes. I was told the manager would call, no call. Food arrives 2 hours later and stone cold with no resolution. Why oh why I ordered from here I have no idea any more. Yet again I have to say: how on earth these people are in business I have no idea. If you cannot deliver a product on time, tell your customer. They will order elsewhere and not be so angry.

Posting here as Camile Epsom can't seem to provide an email address for feedback etc, remarkable in 2023. Ordered two mains, stir-fry and massaman beef curry with two starters. Starters were fine, as was the stir-fry, however the beef in the massaman curry was inedible. Try serving that in a restaurant and it would be sent back immediately, so I suspect they ship bad quality meat on deliveries, but that's just an assumption. Anyhow, the curry was not edible, and was thrown in the bin. Won't be trying them again if they think leather for beef is acceptable.

Swiftest delivery ever experienced. Tasty and fresh.

Had a few deliveries. The food is excellent (both starters and main courses). Portion sizes are also very good. When ordering directly from the Camile app the delivery is much faster than uber eats, not to mention much cheaper. The delivery person was extremely friendly and pleasant. Highly recommended! The spicy calamari starter is a real winner.

Fantastic food and customer service

Food is fresh. Chicken was succulent and tasty even after being fried. Prices are reasonable and great service from the team. Thoroughly enjoyed a takeaway yesterday and a lunch in today. Highly recommend this place right on Epsom High Street. Will certainly be frequenting Camile My 2nd review which reaffirms what I knew and liked already. We stumbled upon this eatery when shopping in Epsom and it has become a big family favourite of ours. We have had delivery at home as well. Food is fresh, delivery is timely, beautifully packed with very polite drivers. Great selection for Vegans. Couldn't ask for better Thai food.

My family order take always from here regularly. The food is delicious and good quantities. Our favourites are green Thai curry, drunken noodles and Harry’s panang but it sure is spicy 🌶️. In fact most of their dishes are spicy so beware. I really like that they don’t over charge you for rice like some other places do.

We did not intend to go for lunch. We walked past the window of Camile Thai in Epsom. Jolly glad we did. What a lively little restaurant. The food we had was a healthy bliss bowl. It was fresh, tasty and healthy. The staff were very nice and helpful. I would most definitely go ahead when next in Epsom. Thank you.

Amazing food! First take out this evening ! Been so disappointed with big chains and fast food restaurants recently especially with the prices ! But this evening so pleasantly surprised! Reasonable and really good portion sizes. Highly recommend ❤️

Wonderful little gem! Very good food, very clean and lovely staff!

Came in with a colleague during our lunch break on Monday. 15 mins after a menu being placed on our table, we still hadn't been approached to ask if we'd like a drink or if we were ready to order. There were only 3 other people sharing a table who were already eating. With 45 mins of our lunch hour left, we got up and walked out to eat somewhere else. Shame.

Fantastic Red Curry! Delicious Pad Thai. All round excellent. We will be back for more!

Worst thai food I have ever had the satay chicken was diabolical the main was just as bad and the rice was like it had been cooked a few days before so much by the time I got home I was feeling green and even the next day throwing up

Ordered takeaway tonight, delivery driver went in completely opposite direction and food needed reheating in microwave. Seemed expensive for what we had ( one starter, two mains and three sides for £46) food was ok but there are better Thai's in Epsom, so probably won't use again.

I’ve eaten at the restaurant but this time I ordered directly from the restaurant’s website - food came quicker than expected. Cooked well, perfect amount of fish and chicken in each dish, and it was yummy! We’ll be ordering again next time!

On the second attempt at delivery (apprently the food had fallen on arrival so driver needed to go back and collect again) the food was simply disappointing. The stand out items (for all the wrong reasons) of this £60 order were the overcooked duck rolls which came with the tiniest amount of duck and could almost pass as vegan! We paid 17.45 for Chilli Chicken (£6 extra for the large portion) which was distinctly unnoteable in taste and substance and was exactly the same size as the standard pad thai (which in itself was tasteless except for lemon). A takeaway meal costing over £60 should leave 2 people full to the brim, but this definitely didn't. This was a poor or terrible experience, that I will not be experiencing again.

We had not planned to come here but the menu on window looked great, my son and I had a superb meal. Singapore noodles and crispy chicken with rice. We will be back, good service too and place was clean as it should be.

We ordered a few vegan items through Deliveroo (3 mains, 2 starters). Instead of chickpea curry, we received chicken curry. Only noticed after dishing out to people’s plates. CHICKPEA!! Is it really so hard to read? The dish even had the word “vegan” in the name: “Harry’s vegan curry with chickpeas”, something like that. All the order was vegan, I don’t know how this mistake can be made. What if one of us was intolerant to dairy and they sent us something with milk in it by mistake and sent somebody into hospital? We can’t trust this place again, sorry.

I went to Camile for the first, time today with my mum had a wonder experience the food was fantastic. Tasted very nice loved the flavours, it was great because it wasn’t too busy lots of space to sit down comfortably, will definitely be going back.
