Just want to say this is a fantastic restaurant. The food is good. The services excellent is so much fantastic service. All the staff is fantastic to the children the older generation and they always try and help with Big occasions and I’ll see they got a big five star rating, last Friday when I was in and then inspector said how fantastic it’s got

Excellent food and value for money. Attentive service. Sadly since my last visit they no longer sell alcohol with meals, but they do suggest that you can buy alcoholic drinks at a nearby convenience shop which you can drink with your meal.

Love this place, have been coming since a kid and the food is and always has been amazing. Lovely atmosphere and service. Great to be able to bring in your own alcohol making for a cheaper lovely meal with family and friends.

Booked table by window 2 days before visit, on arrival not expecting us! Staff not attentive though not busy, food hot/good as usual, asked for coffee they said no cream so we cancelled those so then waiter sent del driver to shop to get some (happened last time were there so why not stock a pot? filter coffee better with cream) no manager on duty (usually Mr Ali there whose v good) 1 pal said we need to find another Indian restaurant as declining, no atmosphere, shame as was always our favourite!

You say it’s A bonus that you can now take in your own alcohol. Why you have to go shopping before you go to the restaurant who wants to go shopping after you been to the pub they must have lost their license Curry and a beer no more

We had not visited for four years, after being a regular customer prior to then. A bonus that you can now take in your own alcohol. Great varied menu & food & service was very good. Will defo be returning very soon.

I have been to this restaurant a few times now and am very happy with the food and the service. I was a bit sceptical when they decided not to seve alcohol any more. Having been back, they have an off licence next door which in fact works out cheaper. Courteous and friendly staff and I'm very happy with the food quality. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Felt different in here today, not busy which is unusual for a Sunday buffet - got sat down and ordered cobra beer only to be told no alcoholic drinks served anymore!! WHAT!! Beer and curry is the best combo! Was told to go and buy drink at local shop and bring in to restaurant. Didn't do that. Today the Food wasn’t up to usual standard, the curry's & sag aloo very watery. Personally we won’t be going back there in the future.

It was my partner's first time here and she really impressed. Great variation on the menu, good service and really tasty... We will be becoming regulars...

The total cost is now much cheaper as you can bring your own drinks. The food is always brilliant with a variety of dishes and the service is great. Very friendly staff👍

Brilliant food, would highly recommend it. You can bring you own alcohol no additional fees. 4 people spent around £70 pounds normally would’ve cost around £120. Im very pleased, make sure you try their food 👍

Raw uncooked dough on a keema naan. Unseasoned mush in a samosa. Tasteless watery Pathia. And the toughness of the lamb was a disgrace. Although it had now flavour than the chicken. Worst take away I've had in Surrey. Avoid it. Bhaji's maybe worth 3/5. Bombay potato ungradeable.

A Taste of Bengal is most certainly one of my absolute favourite places to enjoy delicious Indian cuisine, particularly on a Sunday Buffet. Each year, my family celebrate our joint Birthday's, and always choose this restaurant due to the excellent choice of food, the hospitality, and the atmosphere of this friendly, family orientated place to dine. There is a variety of choices and it's nice to pick and choose, and to mesh flavours together, a favourite is the Saag Aloo along with a mixture of Chicken Korma and Chicken Tikka Masala, mixing it with sauces provided at the table such as mint sauce and mango chutney. Within moments of arriving everyone is always very happy and enjoying Prosecco and you are in the party atmosphere from the get go! I would highly recommend A Taste Of Bengal to families, particularly on a Sunday Buffet, for a more intimate night, try an evening during the week or weekend where you can choose from their main menu which is superb! Arrived for a late Sunday lunch just before 3:00 as advertised opening hours declared they were open all afternoon. I was turned away and told to come back at 5:30. I went for a pizza across the street instead.

The best best Indian food that I’ve ever had in my life. Hygiene is immaculate and service is absolutely amazing. I love going there and I go once a week and love the atmosphere and food is absolutely delicious!

The food was Late and the restaurant lied to me twice when I phoned to ask where my food was. I ordered a dansak but I don't know what i got but it wasn't a dansak.

A completely amazing place with such nice staff, was probably the best curry I’ll ever eat!!

If you enjoying someone rattling around cutlery so loud that you can’t hear what the person across from you is saying then I recommend the Taste of Bengal. One of the fellas in there decided that after serving us our food it was the perfect time to go and hand dry all the cutlery on the table next to us, causing an absolute racket. When we asked him to stop, he didn’t & just carried on like nothing had happened. Luckily managed to get someone else’s attention for the bill over the deafening sound of cutlery crashing around. The owner even had the cheek to ask if I wanted to add a service charge onto the check.

We love this curry house and come as a family every week. The curries are great and taste so authentic. The staff are lovely and very friendly. One of the best Indian restaurants around. The food is well spiced and full of flavour. The staff are extremely friendly and thr server is great. Always busy which speaks for itself.

Food and price good, but the delivery driver was incredibly rude - he had a go at me for the distance he had to travel! If the distance is a problem, your establishment should not be an option for my postcode to order from.

I've been here a few times. Went again last night. The food is excellent old school Indian. The Morissa and Rezalla are so good. Heat, tang, richness. Loved it. Service was good, it was quiet for a Saturday night. My wife and I shared a starter and had a curry each with naan but without drinks. 33 quid. Just amazing value.
