The best Indian restaurant in Surrey! Everything, absolutely everything is amazing and food and the staff are fantastic!

Have been dining here and having takeaways for 20 years, and it never disappoints!

Raw uncooked dough on a keema naan. Unseasoned mush in a samosa. Tasteless watery Pathia. And the toughness of the lamb was a disgrace. Although it had now flavour than the chicken. Worst take away I've had in Surrey. Avoid it. Bhaji's maybe worth 3/5. Bombay potato ungradeable.

A Taste of Bengal is most certainly one of my absolute favourite places to enjoy delicious Indian cuisine, particularly on a Sunday Buffet. Each year, my family celebrate our joint Birthday's, and always choose this restaurant due to the excellent choice of food, the hospitality, and the atmosphere of this friendly, family orientated place to dine. There is a variety of choices and it's nice to pick and choose, and to mesh flavours together, a favourite is the Saag Aloo along with a mixture of Chicken Korma and Chicken Tikka Masala, mixing it with sauces provided at the table such as mint sauce and mango chutney. Within moments of arriving everyone is always very happy and enjoying Prosecco and you are in the party atmosphere from the get go! I would highly recommend A Taste Of Bengal to families, particularly on a Sunday Buffet, for a more intimate night, try an evening during the week or weekend where you can choose from their main menu which is superb! Arrived for a late Sunday lunch just before 3:00 as advertised opening hours declared they were open all afternoon. I was turned away and told to come back at 5:30. I went for a pizza across the street instead.

The best best Indian food that I’ve ever had in my life. Hygiene is immaculate and service is absolutely amazing. I love going there and I go once a week and love the atmosphere and food is absolutely delicious!

A completely amazing place with such nice staff, was probably the best curry I’ll ever eat!!

If you enjoying someone rattling around cutlery so loud that you can’t hear what the person across from you is saying then I recommend the Taste of Bengal. One of the fellas in there decided that after serving us our food it was the perfect time to go and hand dry all the cutlery on the table next to us, causing an absolute racket. When we asked him to stop, he didn’t & just carried on like nothing had happened. Luckily managed to get someone else’s attention for the bill over the deafening sound of cutlery crashing around. The owner even had the cheek to ask if I wanted to add a service charge onto the check.

Starters of poppadoms(of course) with various chutneys/dips, then chicken celyon, CTM, onion bhajee (superb!), sag paneer, mushroom pilau & garlic naan. Never had a disappointing meal here and recommend it.

We love this curry house and come as a family every week. The curries are great and taste so authentic. The staff are lovely and very friendly. Always such nice food and service, it is our favorite place to go for food. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a nice curry house. The owners are so nice and the food has so much flavor! I've been here a few times. Went again last night. The food is excellent old school Indian. The Morissa and Rezalla are so good. Heat, tang, richness. Loved it. Service was good, it was quiet for a Saturday night. My wife and I shared a starter and had a curry each with naan but without drinks. 33 quid. Just amazing value.

Fantastic restaurant people are friendly, good friendly service, very hot hospitality and everything. The food is good at salads services, excellent and all the meals that you asked for they all go to extra hospitality and there’s nothing more than all the service said you get I’ll give it a 10 out of 10.

Absolute waste of time you pay £36 for a meal and you don’t even get the complete meal and all they say is can we catch up next time? The Customer Service absolutely rubbish. Once they’ve got your money they don’t even care. But we won’t be going there next time.

We love this restaurant. The food is quality, each dish has its own taste and is always very fresh. Definitely the best Indian around and I class myself as a curry connoisseur. It’s a very traditional local Indian, they run a tight shift on staff, which we like as it’s not rushed. 100% recommend this restaurant!

We have used this establishment for many years and always have a lovely meal. However, have noticed on our last two visits that no hot hand towels have been provided which is such a shame as you go home with sticky hands.
